Good venue bad place to get away from after an event

Centrally located with parking (paid) nearby. Curtains that block light from access points are not kept closed properly during shows which is very distracting.

The Golden One Center is nice but trying to get out of there was awful. Traffic was hardly moving.

Dont get seats on the ground floor. It took 10 minutes to finally locate them. The staff was not helpful. Ugh!

Beautiful venue. Sucked that the pelican game got canceled when we were sitting in our seats.

Decent event center with event center prices. Food at price isn't amazing but expectations of such can't be too high. All in all a pretty decent venue.

Missed the first 3 or so songs despite getting there plenty early because of what a mess security and entry were. There was still a HUGE crowd outside waiting in lines when the band started, everyone was upset and booing because the venue screwed up so badly. Didn't get in until 35 minutes past when the concert was supposed to start. I missed a song I love because of this fiasco. Very disappointed in the way entry was handled.

What can I say, this place is so much better than Arco Arena - please don't tell me about Sleep Train, that was always pretty weak, but I digress. Great place to see a Kings game. Haven't been there for concerts, but have heard some negatives about the closeness of the seats.

Screens are fantastic and food is pretty outstanding. I ordered from my app and they brought the food to our seats so we didn't have to miss any of the game. Really liked that.

Lo e the new arena. The nose bleed seats are definitely steep and scarey.

Just went to a concert here tonight and the sound was the worst sound I ve ever heard at a concert. The acoustics were terrible. Everything was muffled and imbalanced. The seats are so tiny and close together there s barely a finger width distance between your knees and the seat in front of you. We didn t buy drinks but our friend did and it was $32 for a gin and tonic!!! I have zero desire to ever attend another concert here. We left after one hour of the concert from $100 seats. Nothing makes sense about this place.

The food is very good and it is a stunning building technology spared no expense

This arena has such a great atmosphere, massive inside, great, modern design, is clean. Tons of food selection, one of the greatest arenas I have ever been too. Staff are super nice, maybe just the ones we talked to, but anyways great arena and atmosphere, will definitely go there again, especially for kings game.

Love going to basketball and concerts there...oh, and Sac State Graduation Ceremony.

Absolutely great venue. It was my first time since I am visiting and I was pretty impressed to see it inside. They even have a VEGAN GRILL inside!!!! I am vegan and to find that was so nice and thoughtful! The structure seemed pretty new with nice and comfortable seats and clean bathrooms. Perfect venue to see Maroon five in concert. Hopefully I can come back

It holds people, however the structure is primitive. I expected a technological step up from my home city. We know how to do better than this in terms of architecture, tech, and art.

Parking was a bit of a wait but overall not a bad place.

Our first time to the Golden 1 center was for Bon Jovi! The stadium unfortunately did not live up to my high expectations. After hearing all the raves about it on the radio and Internet I guess I was expecting much more for this award winning Center. Our biggest disappointment was lack of big screens showing Jon and the band's amazing talent! Unfortunaly we were in section 114 row P. Meaning we could see the stage but it was still far enough away to want a big TV to see up close and personal. Such an amazing show though!! And clean bathrooms!

Excellent! The best concerts (I loved 'that of Lady Gaga). The G1 is located in the heart of Sacramento, you have quick access to events, good organization, it is next to Macy's, near Old Sacramento and private and public parking lots. Close to restaurants, cafes, bars, gym and now you have in front of you a big, new and luxurious hotel.
In addition to living in the area, I walk around the arena when I go to the gym or to stabucks, since the place has acoustic water and birds that are activated when the pedestrian passes.
I like Golden 1 Center.

The suites are great level 2 seating is small and kinda scary, honestly.

Been there twice and both times the pizza place has run out before halfway through event... not very good when with your kids

Very nice clean place, great customer service, been there for a Kings game and also Disney on ice and both experiences where great!

Wonderful first time experience! Went to see Trans Siberian Orchestra and the seats, atmosphere, customer service, everything was amazing! Will definitely be returning!

I like the food and drink options right before a concert.

It is a beautiful arena except for how close the seats are to each other and for the cost of events they should have made more room between the rows.

Seating is horrible. If your taller then 5 foot prepare to be uncomfortable. Seats feel like the back seat of a cop car. Drinks are expensive. I attended the marvels show here. Sad to say this will be the first and last time I visit this place.

Great new complex in city center with much promise for events to enjoy

High admission prices for concerts vs other places. Seats and aisles narrow. Refreshment prices high. Acoustics mediocre. I only go there for performances I can't see elsewhere.

Really nice venue with spacious seating and great vendors

Me and my husband saw Tool It was a great performance and we were very happy with the location- it being our first time at the Golden 1 Center. We sat in the Bud Light Bar instead of our seats. It was more comfortable and a better view!

Awesome clean place, tons of new tech and all seats get a good view!

This place is very bad for concerts, basically you have to get the expensive tickets that way you will available to see the concert otherwise light lamps, speakers and more will block in a half your view

Really nice facility. Even though we were in the upper sections we didn t feel far away. Be prepared though, if your scared of heights stay in the lower sections. The food options were really good. When it came time to leave it wasn t too difficult to get out with the crowds.

Went to the Avenged Sevenfold concert here. It was an awesome venue and well staffed. Definitely looking forward to my next event there, would love to watch a king game.

Terrible venue for concerts for many reasons. Staff is completely uninformed about the events. Tickets are outrageously priced compared to other shows. Policies are vague and strongly enforced so you come unprepared for their rules that arent posted. Save yourself time and money, dont come here.

Amazing facility. Just went to Worship Night in America 2017. It was a great venue for a packed house and great music.

A great sports arena. Very nice I was impressed. But , food and all beverages way to expensive. They must lower there prices.

Just saw Hall & Oats/ Tears for Fears here & the venue was awesome. So painless & everyone was so willing to help. I think i love that there is only 2 floors so theres not too much to see, but the arena itself is huge! Will be back here in august for Lady Gaga!

Loved the view. Liked that theres alot of little shopping stores, its pretty much the mall but u get to see the Golden 1 Center. Me and my bf got to see the Monster Truck jam going on but from the outside...We went just to spend time walk around...really nice...

Went to see a concert, Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The view and sound was great. The seats/rows were typical stadium seats, tight rows and narrow seats, but at least they were cushioned. The food was a bit pricey, but what do you expect for concert venue event food. The staff was friendly, but needs more consistant training. I purchased food from one stand and was able to use my Samsung Pay no problem, I go to another for a snack and am told that doesn't work here. They were using the same POS system and I could see the NFC symbol on the device so I knew it would, but was told I had to pay with card or cash anyway.

Golden 1 is alright if you're a sports fan but I'm not a sports fan. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Accoustics we're good enough up in the nosebleed section. (very steep seating). As usual, 9 bux for a slice of pizza, 3 bux for a 16oz coke. What really got me was 30 stinking clams for parking (4 blks away) Said $25 online, somehow the parking attendants didn't get that memo.... Trans-Siberian Orchestra... 4th time... still great.
