It's easy to spend an entire day in this store. Hidden gems are the Lebanese restaurant and the wine bar in the basement. The food place on the top floor is best avoided. The technology available here is always cutting edge, I like to peruse what's new... The interior fabric selection is comprehensive, and the haberdashery department has a superb selection too. There's a great toy department and a super range of clothes, cosmetics, footwear, sportswear and luggage. This store also sells furniture, kitchens and appliances, etc.

One of the biggest department stores in central London! You can find everything at reasonable prices.

Adverts have gone downhill in recent years. Store has stayed in the same location however.

Only that our partners weren't prepare for us,eg no room was presented for our lesson on carpet, was done standing up in shop floor with all noise and costumers walking around.
I guess that how it is some time preservation is to press on.

Staff very helpful, a vast improvement on me experience at Peter Jones, Sloane Sq, who is part of the same company. I would suggest that the management supply the same customer service levels to both.

A historic department store located in the heart of Oxford Circus. The store provides a wide range of consumers commodities and the servicing staff is friendly. The furniture section is spacious and nice and the snack bar on 5th floor is worth a visit after a 2-hour stroll within the store.

Went to buy a set of wireless headphones for my son for Xmas. Jack, served me, guiding me through the intricacies of what is good and bad re headphones. Unfortunately, John Lewis had sold out of the model that I decided upon. Jack then recommend Selfridges. I can recommend John Lewis and Jack in particular

Visited over the Christmas period - they had a wonderful little roof garden set up in the theme of their 'man on the moon' Christmas advert

John Lewis has everything you could possibly need and very friendly staff! Beware that the personal shoppers will try to upsell you, but i have never experienced this with other sales team members.

Large department store with almost everything you can want

Flagship store. Got a good collection. They have a service desk for taking in faulty products or repair requests for any electrical or electronics you have bought from any John Lewis store.

A great shopping experience with a wide selection, good quality, helpful staff and a logical layout. It is good that John Lewis physical shops still exist.

Lots of choice hassle free shipping. Staff very accommodating.

John Lewis is the best place to shopping for me. You can get many brands product inside the one building.

The quality and range of the goods and services is very high and the staff are invariably efficient, courteous and helpful.

After calling customer services twice to confirm that i can exchange an unwanted Christmas gift (still in box and unopened) I was then told in store that they have now changed their policy and can no longer do this without a reciept. Waste of my time - perhaps train all staff on new policies before making changes!

Sells almost anything you want. Visited on Christmas Eve, 2018. Got there early enough to avoid the total carnage of last minute Christmas shopping.

One star. Would have been no stars but Google won't allow it. Piss poor service from John Lewis Oxford Street today. Called customer service to ask about replacing a product bought at JL. It was outside their 1 year guarantee but inside the manufacturer's lifetime guarantee. Customer service said I should just take it in with the receipt and they would replace it anyway. When I went in they refused because it was outside the JL guarantee period, despite what they said on the telephone. They offered to refund half the original price, presumably so they could get a replacement free from the manufacturer. They had the product on the shelf for twice the original price, which would mean a profit of 300% to John Lewis out of my defective goods, and it would cost me four times the refund to replace the product, plus the waste of my time. Not what I expected from John Lewis, or from a lifetime guarantee. And so rude with it.

Amazing customer service. Great range of products, love everything about this place. And when going to shops during covid is a bit different, they remind you why it's worth it.

Hi on a weekday evening in the top floor restaurant as it's very empty but still great service and selection

This is very large John Lewis store based in Londox, Oxford street. Near the Bomd street station and Oxford circus station. There is easy access by public transport. I always enjoy click and collect service which one based on the ground floor with easy acess to the street,in comparison to House of fraser,where same click and collect service based on the top (5th floor)

Was not impressed with the staff here on the beauty departments, went to buy my hubby his fave scent. Only to have some snooty sales rep look at me like I couldn t afford it! What a shame, needless to say I went else where to buy it.

Don't really want to rate them with a star because my cup of tea was not what I expected, hygienicly it's very poor.
My cup had a lipstick mark on it yuck!

I had to get a wool coat for my mother-in-law and it's Spring! The assistants were so helpful.

Great department stores with a broad range of goods on offer. Busy at this time of year but the staff are still helpful without being obtrusive. Goods are generally high quality and good value for money, although there are cheaper (lower quality) options elsewhere.

A department store that not only has everything for all price ranges, but also has very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not many stores can say that.

Went to the Bureau de Change to get out some dollars. Dealt with efficiently by a pleasant easy going young woman.

Well stocked departmental store, good quality items backed by John Lewis warranty, very good service, items ranging from clothes to watches, shoes, cosmetics available. There are two cafes/eateries within the store. Highly recommended.

Terrible service. Was sent from the 3rd floor to the second for an item that was actually on the 3rd floor. Clueless lady on the 3rd floor, hose pipe....
Avoid, cheaper somewhere else!!!

Wide selection of fair priced goods - sometimes difficult to navigate the large store. Got refund on one item (not their fault) very easily. Recommended.

Visited the store to obtain refund on failed charger for my Surface. Needed replacement urgently so had to buy from JL on next day delivery to local Waitrose, then reclaim. Very accomodating and straightforward. Intend to continue buying my tech from here.
