Don't recommend that place poor customer service, incompetent staff, made complain to a manager and he ignored it. That was last time I visited that place. Never again. Should be zero stars

Very helpful but still trying to make a sale. Like a slick salesperson. They tell you what best for the sale, not for you.
Walking around Oxford St. is always a pleasure and if you like to shop better. Observe the shop windows, it's worth it.
Love John Lewis... don't forget they price match!!!
The best John Lewis has to offer, ground floor is a bit messy could do with being opened up and made fresher
Terrible export experience. No service
I waited 5 weeks for an order and had no contact from a staff member, only when I chas ed my order. Never do it again.
Love how this store flows bright and airy you never feel stressed no matter how many people are there
Very poor service. Visited the store, ordered three items, paid for it on the 1st of Feb. They said all would be delivered in 3-4 weeks time - 4 wks tops. Contacted them a couple times to get an estimated delivery date. What I could get today was an estimated delivery date of around March 20th. Delivery date is one of the parameters of a purchase decision, no? I feel very misled and disappointed. I'd expect a way better service from John Lewis. Will not buy anything ever again from John Lewis.
Best for shopping...ample rest areas and food.
I would urge management to rejuvenate their service...sales advisors are tired..ignore a customer's presence and are always conveniently engaged with another advisor if they see you approaching.
Still the Only place I shop.
Goods are better quality and of course more expensive than average: but that is the choice you make.
Perfect place! Here you can buy John Lewis genuine leather wallets or belts. There are both cheap and expensive ones so you can find well-made wallet which is very cheap and perfectly suits you
One of the few stores around where Information helpers/ floor walkers are available to guide you on every single floor. No question is too silly or seemingly impossible to answer because they'll call someone else to get it answered if they can't !. I visited to see Moz the Monsters House which was a great miniature version of the window displays downstairs. The monster art gallery inside was huge fun. Not just the kids funny monster faces but family members 60+. Definitely worth a visit, on the same floor as toys, games and all things kids. Big bonus is its free, no designer attempts to part you with cash to enter and a welcome alternative to the usual Xmas Grottos. Food Hall resplendent with fantasy offers including of course the very experimental Heston Blumenthal fare. Tasty choices, reasonable prices and some lines already reduced in the run up to Xmas. This year the main window displays relate to the Elton Johns TV and with piano keyboards and circular layouts. Apologies for the lousy lighting on my less than flash smart phone.
Inadequate number of loos for women in Lewis's.A public disgrace that the long queue reflects.
Don't bother if you expect customer service, on the other hand if you enjoy unhelpful and impatient staff, then well recommended!
Always enjoy this high street favourite and a browse today didn't disappoint.
My preferred place to go on oxford street for shopping its a huge store and has every thing even grocery in the basement electronics on top floor amazing store with good quality products and extra caring staff customer service is excellent.
Its a john lewis...good service. Good for shopping.
Went to buy a TV and got great service. People taking time to go through all features and answer any questions
Good place for shopping, benugo coffee and a restaurant on the top floor. In the summer there is also a rooftop bar.
Do not, I suggest either buy laptops or believe the outright lies and patronising apologies from this "flag ship" store. You will if my current experience of a repair is a measure-be given a different story by EVERY person u are transfered to. I called in 4mikes tgru Lobdon roads and also phoned for some 40 minutes. In the end I gave up and the switchboard firewall wouldn't let me escalate to a general manager..Repaired or not- I will be binning this 8 month old expensive laptop- if in fact they ever find it!..the hassle has been a shock and worse than the pc repair shop on any corner.Be careful to believe J.LEWIS..OXFORD ST!!! I no longer do..
Daniel in baby ware is super knowledgeable and a lovely chap. For information on getting ready for your baby that is friendly and no pressure - he was just great. Thanks Daniel!
My favourite shop didn't let me down in my quest for quality flannels! Always a pleasure to shop at JL
Top premium department store. Really good quality but prices eg. on most branded menswear are out of reality. Great bathroom towels. Worth a visit during sale time. Excellent top floor restaurant for a good sit down lunch. Clean bathrooms.
Big department store loads and loads of items but can also be quiet expensive but it's the quality that counts
It is the best shopping centre to buy excellent product at the right price
Great place to have something to eat whilst shopping in Oxford Street London. We went to the top floor restaurant. Very spacious. Have a variety of hot and cold snacks. Do try their cakes. They are scrumptious and well worth the money! Staff friendly and helpful too. Only one thing is that they do not cater much for vegetarians when you want a good lunch.
Best place to shop at Christmas. Such good sales, such happy people, so Christmassy! I love.
Whilst this is a great store for the product offering, JL s systems and policies are notoriously outdated. I have had a depressing experience with the team at Oxford Street and on the phone, which has convinced me to avoid JL in future.
it's amazing, don't think, just go! If you can't find something there it probably means it doesn't exist! Staff are really courteous and helpful, and it's just generally a lovely place to shop in! unless it's Christmas...
One stop shop for all household items including children's toys. Good quality and friendly helpful staff. Always a good experience.
The best shop. Always get what I need and the staff always know what I need them to know. Always a pleasure shopping at John Lewis.
You have to be a silly widget to not buy everything from John Lewis.
Large store which sells most things. Store has multiple floors and is presented well.
I just love it they are everything everything you want you'll find they're great quality amazing staff
I go here for the technology section, most stuff comes with a free extended warranty, far better than a certain high street store.
Great shop. Lots of items to choose from especially for Christmas
Always realiable; I buy all my electrical equipment here.
It's their flagship store and the range of stuff they sell is just fantastic.
Perfumes and cosmetics on the ground floor are excellent. Moving on through menswear, ladies wear, home furnishings, kitchen, electricals, sports, luggage, technology - it's all here.
The staff are great, in my experience. I assume that training and people management are strengths of the organisation.
A massive store with a great layout. A huge selection of clothes for everyone. The toilets were busy but clean. Would return to shop without hesitation. Staff were efficient despite being busy.
A good shop and they will price match however sometimes customer service isn't brilliant
It was the lead up to Xmas, so a nightmare!
But staff very helpful!
Beautiful Christmas decoration. I bought some very cool pajamas for my grandchildren
John Lewis is the perfect shopping experience, with great customer service! Most products have a 90 day hassle free return policy and being their flagship store it's crammed with everything you could ever need.
No idea what present to buy for that distant relative, co-worker or wife? Head to the basement for a proliferation of useless gifts.
A place to visit and shop when in England, it has all
Nice selection. One of the better department stores on Oxford Street. The basement food hall is great.
The staff are very rude, but it's a great place to shop.
This shop really has everything from a to z! Incredible
This is the department store we will always need: up to date, nice atmosphere, redecorated on a regular basis, good product selection and great offers during the sale periods. Always worth a visit.
A large shopping center, all kinds of goods and miscellaneous items, clothes, shoes, accessories, and much more, with quality prices
occasion
Just looking around gives me a feel of wanting to buy everything lol
Everything you need under one roof, staff really helpful, customer service at it's best...and the tea and scones are just what you need in the afternoon after shopping
Products and all the support is terrible. total waste of time and money.
I've always loved John Lewis, but recently i've had bad encounters with staff, not sure it's because of the busy festive period of what but was given the wrong directions 5 times. love the store just please upskill staff to know where everything is!!!!
Good selection of items but the store was messy and many of the fitted bathrooms had cardboard boxes in them
One of the UK's favourite department stores. Excellent value ladies and gents fashions, homewares, appliances, furniture etc. Surely everyone buys their sheets, towels, curtains, plates and cutlery from John Lewis or their partners? Customer service is good because the staff own the business.
Family store for two decades.Guaranteed product quality, helpful assistance, selections updated. After sales service requires toning up.
