Atmosphere is really good and service is great! The food is just very salty and I was surprised at how Asian influenced the menu is. Music is kind of loud in the bar area but it's an upbeat feel. The bar area has lots of tvs to show sports games they don't play the sound which is disappointing.

Our fav hang-out spot for occasions! Everyone is friendly here! My fav thing on the menu is the sushi and steak. I also get their apple pie pastry at the end which is probably the best I've had. They have made it a little smaller over the years. Cocktails are great! The patio in the summertime is beautiful. It's in a great location as it's attached to the Markville Mall.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. My first time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely come back again when I am back in town.

Tried to make a reservation 2 weeks in advance, the "individual" who handles large party reservations never answered my emails to make a reservation then call in to make it because they haven't replied and tell me their full. Absolute BS. service. Glad i won't be dinning there anymore.

It s next to never that I write about my restaurant experiences, however I am making an exception this time. I was out last night, Friday with my friends for dinner. At our table, we were promptly greeted by an energetic and friendly young lady named Yalda.
The service she provided was over-the-moon! I had not been to Joey s at Markville Mall before, I can certainly assure you I had never received this type of service at any other location. She made some great food and drink recommendations, the tempura shrimp cone being one. It was delicious! She was very attentive and friendly, you could tell she enjoyed her job. She told us about some money saving promotions that I was not aware of.
Her customer service skills are amazing! She should be cloned!
We ll definitely be back to take advantage of the promotions and try our some of the other menu items she recommended.
Yalda is delightful and definitely a keeper. We ll be back again soon. I ll be asking it sit in her service area for sure!

Very bad service (we usually go to this location since its close to us) . The girl serving us didn't bring us water . I asked for sweet potatoes, however they gave me fries. Instead of bringing a side of sweet potatoes they took my whole plate back to the kitchen, and after 5 minutes they brought the same plate back and told me we will bring a sweet potatoe shortly.
They didn't ask us if we want anything else (they didn't even give us napkins, platesorsalt and pepper) until we asked for the bill. In the end they were asking for 18% tip (we always tip minimum 15% but the service we got didnt even deserve 5% we didn't even have an option to change the tip ) will never go back here again.

Worth to wait for over 30 minutes. Good Food. Recommend Apple Pie.

Great food, loved the environment. Food was at point and not bland, would recommend going there! The environment there is nicer than the one at Yorkdale

Our waitress Keeshia was fantastic. It was my birthday and she made it very special. Amazing food. Great atmosphere.

Initially staff would not allow for a later reservation on the same day... even though I was there. Emily did resolve that. The consistent problem I have with Joey, as do many others, is that the sauces are often so very salty.

One of my two guests was simply embarrassed to complain... even though it was so salty she could not finish it. One of my other guests, who doesn't possess a shy bone in her body, too on the complaint but made it very awkward.

The house did, without hesitation, take care of removing the dish.

Overly saltiness has come up again and again and the pre-batch sauces remain mostly the same, sadly.

Nice atmosphere friendly staff and food is always consistent here.

I visited this location today and the service was way below our expectations. The hostess was were very disrespectful. They did not keep track of their guests who were waiting. customers were ignored. I felt under appreciated and felt that the host felt their purpose there is to look good and stand around there not greeting their customers. The Markville location front staff need training to welcome their customers. I came their to have fun after a long week at work and left frustrated and disrespected.

I have been to shop at Don mills Joey s several time and the staff were great and service was fast.

The food is a hit or miss. The only food item I trusted was the lobster and shrimp ravioli, although it is pricey and small in portion..it tastes like heaven
..there was only one time it was way undercooked
..they tried to fix it but the waitress was never to be seen. They came to replaced my order 30 mins later and it tasted the same. The steak is dry and doesn't taste good...everything else is just "meh." The service can be really bad. There was one time the waitress hardly showed her face, and we were there 3 hours just waiting for our food, drinks and bill. The manager there is amazing though. He wasn't in when those negative incidents happened because he would have resolved it efficiently. Oh yah, dont order their Caesars (the drink) it's terrible...at every joey's really

I ordered a steak dinner via DoorDash... it was excellent and the handwritten note of appreciation written on the bag was a nice touch. Thank you Joey Markville! Hang in there. Why o why don't you offer the chicken and ribs (a favorite) via DoorDash delivery? I hope this is just an oversight.

Had an amazing experience Monday afternoon. Chelsea was our server. Chelsea is a prime example of amazing customer service. She went over and beyond for us and i am sure this is her overall attitude with all customers dining at Joeys. I frequent this restaurant allot and so far Chelsea has provided myself and my family with the best dining experience! Keep up the amazing job Chelsea! You're great! BTW The lobster sandwich is my favorite! YUM!

You can thank our server last night that took care of the 40th birthday party. Her service was amazing, she remembered everyone's name and drink!!! Unfortunately I do not remember her name but she deserves 5 stars all the way!

Not a bad place at all. I do love the interior as it is very spacious and feels like a homey lounge. I'd say that it is a great place to hang out with friends or colleagues. Service was good. But the menu was a bit disappointing. I did only just go for lunch but it felt empty and the menu didn't seem significant or special enough to attract me back into this place. The steak and rainbow roll were alright. The steak was soaked in soya sauce which made it a bit too salty, would be good to just have the sauce on the side. The rainbow roll was what you would expect, not too bad. The seared salmon sushi is the better choice to go with, as it was made a bit better and has better texture in terms of the salmon.

I have been there twice for dinner and I really like the place. The service is awesome, the waiters are very friendly, food is great, a lot of Gluten free options, and it is little pricey but it is worth it. It is a happening place and ambiance is great. It reminds me of restaurants in Southern California. I am going to try the happy hour next time since the price is better. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I had dinner with my friends today, I find their food is quite underwelming. I ordered their steakfrites and the size of the steakfrites is totally not what i expected, it is small. The meat is tough, the vegetable is salty. The ratio of meat to fries is ridiculously small. I definitely will not go back for the steakfrites.

Still planning to come back ... good selection of beer ... good food ... Just wished I was told about the specials before ordering.

Have been to this Joeys many times. One standout is their service. Usually it s just next level stuff - very attentive staff who go out of their way to make your visit better. Food is also generally very good. One minor comment is that I wish they d change their menu a little more often... seems like it s pretty static and I d love a little more variety.

The restaurant is usually filled on most evenings however the service was slow when it wasn't as busy. The food however was great but a bit pricey, though understandable for the overall experience you get. Perfect for special occasions.

Trying to be a fusion restaurant. Expensive. Choices are not too attractive. Staffs are often elsewhere and hard to find your server.

Ordered the blackened chicken off Door Dash and the meal was impeccable! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Definitely the best thing I've ever eaten off Door Dash or Uber Eats (and I order alot). The taste and quality was not compromised at all. Very pleased.

Food was tasty. I had the fiascos, nice quick to the sauce. Server was good and friendly. we didn't feel rushed, but we're given time to enjoy our meal when we shared 2 deserts among the 3 of us, we got a beautiful plating.

I went for a family dinner. The service was amazing. I would definitely recommend this location. The servers were respectful, quick. We booked off an area. And good came altogether.

First time coming to Joey s and my friends and I really enjoyed our girls night out. The food was amazing but our server May was what really made our night! She was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make sure that we got exactly what we needed. We will definitely be back!

I would rate my experience 0 stars if I could. I was extremely upset with the service I received on Saturday, September 26, 2020. I arrived at the restaurant at around 4:30-5:00 PM and was seated. As I waited for the other 4 members of my party to arrive, my cousin and I were served our drinks and everything was fine. However, when my party arrived shortly after, no one came to our table for 20 minutes. After waiting, one member of my party decided to inform the hostess that we had not been served and asked if we could have someone come to our table. After another 10 minute wait, no one came. We were all celebrating a send-off dinner for my cousin, who was going abroad for over a month and he had to be at the airport for a certain time. After waiting for another 10 minutes for a server to come, we asked the hostess again if someone could be sent to our table, in which she informed us that there was "nothing" she could do. We decided to wait, as we were starving and had wasted so much time already. As another 10 minutes went by, we had no other choice but to leave, since my cousin had to be at the airport soon. As a result, we were forced to eat at the mall food court. I am extremely upset with the staff. The restaurant was not even busy at the time, so there is really no excuse. Additionally, I had called customer service to inform them of my extremely poor experience and they had offered to compensate me with a gift card, which I was pleased to hear. However, I made the call nearly 3 weeks ago, and still have not received anything. At this point, I am just extremely annoyed and saddened with Joey's overall. I will not be returning and will be spreading the word to my peers about my poor experience.

The servers need an attitude adjustment. The coke was flat! 2 times they replaced it. You would think that the waitress would have a personality and not be damm snobby! I hope a manager sees this and makes adjustments. There is a girl with glasses and tattoo on her back walks with an attitude like she has something up her ass.

I came here multiple times, but I enjoyed the most when I was with my girlfriend.

When the servant approached, I asked if we could take two plates and split each to half so we can share, and she said sure. Also I asked for some recommendation on which plate goes well with the other and she also recommended one.

Anyways after all the food was great, and we really liked it, the servant really helped us to do quick decisions on what to order and gave us the confident not to hesitate.

Also, the design of the place is just amazing, it has a unique vibe to it which makes an amazing photography place for photographers.

Overall its a great place to come hack with friends or your partner.

I met up with friends after work. We all enjoyed our meals. I found the service to be slow but friendly. Over all a nice experience.

My girlfriend and I are regulars here. Consistently good food and drinks.

Yum!!! Love Joeys. Wait staff are nice and love the seating arrangement. Feels cozy and a great place to catch up with friends.

The food wasn't the greatest. One of us ordered the steak which ended up being quite dry and hard to chew without a good sauce. Luckily, it was past 9pm so there were discounts on the dishes we ordered. The original price would have been way too much for the average quality of food we received.

Mediocre food. Staff disappeared after bring us our entrees.
