Went here to take my mom for a birthday lunch and the waitress was super accommodating. Even with the little birthday treat at the end they remembered our dietary restrictions. Although the place was a little empty on an afternoon, they were very patient and had good customer service and food.

We went on New Year s Eve with a large group. However the restaurant was not super busy and we did make reservations far in advance. Let me start off with the only one positive- The food was amazing! Food alone would be a 4 star however the service was terrible. Two people in the group didn t get their food served until everyone else was done eating, about a 30 minute delay in their food arriving. There was no explanation really for this, the meal was comped but it still ruined the experience. It was also hard to track the server down to ask when the food would be coming for the two people who never received their food. Also someone requested condiments, which took an excessive amount of time to be brought to our table. We did speak to a manager about the food not arriving in a timely manner, who was a bit rude and didn t have a caring attitude towards the situation.

No water was served to the table. Plus the drinks were full of ice and maybe you got three sips out out them. However we never really got a chance to ask for water or additional drinks- the waitress sparsely came around to the table.

We were seated in the bar area and was told in advance that we would be given separate tables beside each other. We had agreed to this. The reservation was for 19 people however the tables only sat a maximum of 16 people and the others had to squish on the end with zero leg room. I understand it was New Year s Eve however the overall experience was a major let down.

Great food, seating, service and ambience. Just wish they had more vegetarian options, but all in all, a nice place for lunch.

We went there for lunch on the weekend, even though it was busy we were lucky to get a table fast. We had the fish & shrimp tacos, chili chicken & catsup chicken and they were all good we had a dessert it was delicious I think it was called lava cake a bit too small thought. Service was good. I definitely recommend this place.

Servant doesn't have a clue on when the table is ready. When we got there they told us 1.5 to 2 hours wait for a table. End up being only 20 min. But we were gone. What a waste of time... They are going to loose customer...

Great place! Two reasons: (1) the food is, for the most part, done really very well; (2) all the people who work here are hot.

On Reason (1), if you stick to conventional pub or steakhouse fare, you can be sure you'll get perfectly prepared dishes that are really fantastic. If you order something like Butter Chicken, it'll be just ok.

A note about Reason (2): yes, everyone who works here is either a gorgeous > 6 ft tall muscly male, or a gorgeous, slim/toned female. I'm not sure how much Reason (2) influences my perception of Reason (1), but it's probably prudent to assume there's some significant causal relationship there.

The moment we tasted lobster cream sauce, we fell in love with it! It was so creamy! The raviolis were stuffed with shrimp and lobster too! Definitely recommend trying it!

The service was great! Super friendly and seated us right away. I would definitely come back just for the Apple Pie. The fish tacos had me running to the bathroom after :/

Generally pretty good service and conveniently located outside of Markville Mall. Good options on the menu too!

Great location, very spacious and has many seating areas. On good days, they also open the patio area to their right side.

Can be pricey for the amount of food you get, but the size of the dishes aren't SO small that you can start calling it EXPENSIVE for what's been paid for.

Friendly staff. Brings out food relatively good timing, not a crazy wait time for the food.

Greeters were very friendly..meal came and not a single server came to check on whether the meal was good, if I needed another drink or a top up. Wasn't impressed with service but again greeters were amazing.

Poke bowl was great!!! Unfortunately it took us 15 min. for the server to come take our order and the restaurant was almost empty at lunch on a Monday.

WENT TODAY AT LUNCH WITH MY MAN. FOOD AND SERVICE IS ALWAYS A HIT N MISS WITH THIS PLACE. TODAY WAS A MISS. SHOULD HAVE WENT TO THE FOOD COURT INSTEAD OR THE OTHER RESTAURANTS IN THIS AREA. DISSAOPPOINTED!

It s Joeys so we love it happy hour is the beat!! Going again this week can t wait sushi cone delicious with super sonic gin and tonic!!!!

Great food but they got rid of the mushroom pasta which was the best item on the menu :(

Paella was over salted and too greasy which his the flavour.

Good atmosphere and service

Ordered Bombay butter chicken. Received it and noticed the sauce was darker than butter chicken found at authentic indian restaurants. Finished the rice and then took a bite from the butter chicken side and noticed a hint of burnt taste. The vegetables had no crunch profile as they were overcooked and were soft. After biting a second chicken piece, the burnt taste was very strong. Flipped the chicken pieces in the plate and noticed that they were encrusted with a burnt surface. Ask the server Jessica, whom did a well job at serving, to get the manager. Manager came asked what was the problem, and I showed the burnt pieces. She offered to not charge me for the meal and get a future meal. However as I dont live in the area I asked to get my other two party's meal at no charge.

Manager brought the plate to the kitchen and relayed the following:

The chicken was cooked at spec and should be charred, and that I should not eat at Canadian style indian restaurants.

This is completely unacceptable and victim blaming. The manager then got Jessica to remove my meal from the bill with no compensation for my ruined meal and my party's meal was still on the bill.

If you enjoy Indian cuisine, do not go to this place, enjoy the actual authentic indian restaurants across the city.

As I write this, I'm still burping burnt taste. I couldn't give a zero but it should be.

Very contemporary, great food,servers and atmosphere!

I called 3 hours ahead for a reservation & when my guests & I arrived, we were greeted with 2 smiling staff.
We occupied the far end table which was perfect for a group of 5 since we love to chat a lot & not bother the other customers around.
Spacious & cozy atmosphere.
Food were great & we consumed a decent amount of beer.
Overall the experience was great!
Kudos to our server, Tonya.

Planned a surprise birthday dinner for my Boyfriend and the staff were amazing. Professional, Friendly and were so attentive to our table of 24. Thank you for all of the effort ladies you were amazing! Shana and Kelly we will be back again thank you for everything!!

Food is decent but quite $$$ for what you actually get. The staff is usually really good and friendly though.

I have never been one to leave reviews, but the service my family and I had Tuesday night at Joeys at Markville Mall earns one. My family and I came to enjoy dinner together before ending the long weekend. Our server, Alisha S, was remarkable. She made us feel special and took the time to get to know us all. She knew every item on the menu and was able to customize the items to fit what we would like. I had never tried the steaks at Joeys, but Alisha convinced me that they are amazing and of the best quality. She was not wrong. It was one of the best steaks I ve ever had! The way that the entire crew also worked together was wonderful. They all seemed to help one another out, which created a great environment to enjoy. It is clear that Alisha truly loves her job, and we will be sure to be in again for her and the steaks.

Came in with 9 of my friends on a Friday night. Was incredibly happy with our server Yalda, she made sure we had all our orders even though it was really busy. She was on top of everything and she told me to try the California sandwich which was amazing! All my friends had a good time and we would definitely come here again. Also recommend Yalda as a server she was the best!

Excellent food and service. Salmon sushi and gyoza are dynamite. Thanks to our server Arvin for making our family's early Christmas celebration so very special.

The best JOEY in Toronto - can be a bit busy during the weekend, but the food is worth the wait.

Visited today (Nov 26) and sat in the lounge at a booth.

Service: fastastic! Our server was friendly, fast and attentive, couldn't have asked for better for lunch.

Food: had the calamari, could have been cooked longer but was good. Had the tuna club which was awesome, but anything on a hamburger bun and not three slices of bread is NOT a club, it's a tuna sandwich. My wife had the chicken hanh mi, which was pretty good.

Overall the experience was great, with excellent service!

Have a casual date with my husband here. Very polite waitresses. It's a bit hard to get their attention when the restaurant gets busy. However, food is excellent and hot. Definitely recommend this location and will be back.

Fantastic service and the food was really good. I can't give 5 stars as mi wife's ravioli were too salty and had to replace them for another dish. Our server did a fantastic job suggesting food and drinks (she know each and every one of the items). We will be back.

Right prices for the food and services. Good place for business lunch and dinner.

Food is soooo good , but my waitress are so much bother me, I'm having lunch with friend want some space to talk, my waitress ask more than 20 time ( is everything ok) with in one and a half hours, I think is way too much, at the same time there are nobody for table.

We had a wonderful time. The steak and lobster ravioli appetizer is so great. Laura our server was just a delight.

server or brartender by the name of mariam gives her boyfriend and his friends free foods and drinks cuts their bills in more than half when they come in and order lots of alcohol. witnessed this with my own 2 eyes in the summer 2018. if you have cameras check them she should be investigated/fired.

Great service, food is always exceptional. Been coming for years, very family friendly and also a nice place to go get some drinks with some friends.

We ve been here countless times and it s absolutely fantastic every single time. Good service, great portions, fair prices. The food arrives quick. Everything on their menu is delicious. Their veggie burger is the best I ve had anywhere. It can get busy on weekends, but the vibe is great. They also have TVS everywhere around the bar for anyone who wants to catch a game. It s definitely become our favorite restaurant.

Went there this past Saturday for a drink and a quick bite to eat to kill some time. Been to other locations but never this one. Very pleased that I went here on a whim. Was served by Mai. Very pleasant, very courteous, super cheery, and knowledgable on what I should order. Will come to this location again and bring my friends.

Family friendly and gluten free friendly! Often busy though so call ahead.

Excellent food. Crowded but not excessively noisy due to the use of sound absorbing materials in the interior decoration. The Tuna Salad is excellent.

I loved my recent experience at Joey Markville. I was impressed with the quality of food. Being a vegan and Vegetarian, it is often hard to find places to eat. The manager Stephanie was extremely helpful and receptive as soon as I had questions about vegetarian options and was willing to assist me in all my questions. Stephanie takes great pride in customer service and is a true professional. I will definitely be coming back here with my husband and girlfriends. Top notch service and wonderful staff!

Always amazing food, you won't be disappointed. This is my favourite spot.

Had the most wonderful meal at Inspire this evening. Our party of four each ordered a different menu item, and we were all delighted with the freshness and tastiness of the food.

Decent food however, it took over 30 min to get the bill. Literally people who finished eating after us paid and left. Other people took their table ordered drinks and had them arrive.

Manager tried to make things right, which was appreciated. Service was poor overall with us being neglected for most of the night. Icing on the cake, a person that was at the bar pointed their smart phone and took pictures of us as a joke to their friends (staff members) to probably prove a condescending point to us. Person in question was with a staff member, yet they allowed this to happen which I found very unprofessional. It definitely made the situation worse. I truly hope this person in question isn't actually a staff member otherwise it really puts a stain to the brand itself allowing for someone to work in a establishment that should be focused on guest experience and hospitality.

Thank you for keeping vegan/ vegetarians in mind! Everytime I visit Joey I can pick something else. Their house-made burger is legit. Unlike most dine-in restaurant chains I am very pleased with their veg burger. They don't serve frozen meat imitation burgers. I do have two comments to make. One, I asked for no dairy in my burger but it still came with some white sauce (though the cheese was taken out). Secondly, I upgraded my regular fries to sweet potatoe fries and received significantly less (I paid $2 extra).

Our waitress Victoria was friendly & accommodating to our party of six.

We like this place, the food is consistently decent as is the service. They change the menu quite often but the staples are always there. Try the protein style burger!

Very good service!!! Today is my first time coming to JOEY. After I ordered for around 5 mins, i have some emergency and have to leave asap. So I changed to to-go. The food is well-prepared so quicklly and service of the staffs are awesome. Will come again to have a sit and enjoy your food.

food is good just need relish for there burgers. Should have all condiments available
