Be very weary when entering into a contract with JLA. Their salesman are very misleading on what their equipment can actually do. My advice would be to avoid and look elsewhere.

JLA are a very good company. I have found that should there be any issues or problems an engineer comes out quickly. Good communication and they help streamline the laundry service in the care home i manage.

Always a fantastic service from this company . Rang up on the Wednesday at 4.30 and requested an engineer to look at my washer. The lady on the phone was very helpful and booked me in for the following afternoon, I got a phone call from the engineer the next morning at 8.30 am to say he was on way. He quickly sorted problem in a professional and friendly manner and advised me on maintaining my machine . Very very happy and wouldn't use any other company!!!
The engineer Mr Martin Whitley arrived in time . He politely rang to inform us that he was on his way which is really a peace of mind to know that things are moving the right direction .he was very polite , professional and full of courtesy .fixed the machine very quickly and kept us informed every step of his repairs . basically our machine was up and running in less than 2 hours of reporting the fault . Well done JLA and Mr Whitely is an asset to your company and he definitely puts your name in the map wherever he goes.

very slow engineer call out, 3 broken promises on when they would come. 4 sales calls from other services ranging from fire safety to machine service all we wanted was an engineer. Washer scrapped in end so service would have been a waste.
I must write this review on Ryan Harrison repair man for JLA and must make JLA aware about the excellent service this employee gives when completing jobs at my place of work. He is always polite and jovial, and more importantly he locates the problems and repairs when possible whatever the fault is on the various appliances that we have cover for.

Really bizarre. Asked if they could fix an urgent leak in a boiler, they said yes and we filled out all paperwork. First engineer went to the wrong address. Called to rearrange another and was told I'd be called back in 10 minutes. No call came. Waited almost 2 weeks for them to arrange for someone to fix said urgent leak. It seemed like they didn't want our business, so got another contractor out for the following day.
We have been using JLA for several years at our school and they always give outstanding service. We recently had a major problem with our walk in fridge, I found the engineers to be extremely efficient, informative and dedicated to the task in hand. I would recommend JLA wholeheartedly.

Whenever a repair or service is required JLA are always very informative regarding engineer ETA/parts ETA etc and always complete the job with no hassle. R Harrison 4E was on site and went through the diagnostics and what was found to be at fault, explaining what parts were required to get machine back up and running, making it easy to understand. JLA are a great company to work with their consultative approach to find a solution that fits our needs has been a breathe a fresh air and when we have had any issues in our laundry room they have responded extremely quickly as promised and rectified any issues we have faced with minimal disruption. Had an over-foaming issue on two washing machines as the detergent was faulty - placed call on 9th Dec and still unresolved by 4th January. Engineers have been out to 'adjust' things only for the 3rd engineer to tell me they knew about the detergent being faulty. Laundry room has been flooded and we've needed to put everything through additional rinse and may now have the expense of outsourcing the laundry until JLA can do what they promised back on the 13th December! Clearly unable to do what they say. Very unhappy with the service.

Where to begin with Circuit? Terrible company.
I've had a top get a nice hole in it (which doesn't seem like much but it's an expensive top and it could get worse now) from the washer and had to put my stuff through the dryer again because it's nowhere near dry.
Their phone line says they can't take complaints until the next day, seems arbitrary but okay so I said I'd like to report that the machines aren't working properly. She says "just the dryer". Yeah because of course, putting holes in clothes is what washing machines should do.
Their solution was for me to send the top to them for inspection. How can they expect them to trust them with it when they're a laundry company that can't even dry clothes.
I was "given a refund" for my drying not working in the form of circuit credit. When I went to top up the machine didn't work and of course the phoneline isn't able to help for arbitary reasons.
They have also told me that the washing machine was faulty but won't give me an engineers report to claim on insurance.
They are able to get away with this downright terrible service as they don't actually have to deal with their consumers and instead deal with the universities who make it so students have no choice other than to use this terrible service.
JLA were so helpful when my glasswasher broke down. They were out within a day and fixed it. Engineer was great, showed me how to look after the machine to minimise problems.
Very pleased with the service. Was kept up to date on times and the engineer Martin Whiteley was very polite and professional and talked through what he was doing. Good service all round.
JLA's engineers are so quick to respond if we have an problem with our machines and are really helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble.

Lie after lie after lie about the repair to our leased washing machine. Original call out on 14th October and it is now 29th October, still awaiting the engineer who was promised for 24th, then 25th, then 28th and now 30th because all of their "engineers are in training today"!
What a complete waste of time and money this company is, avoid them if you want a reliable service.
FinallyJLA engineer resolved my drier issue.
The problem was that the drier was clogged with debris internally and not the fault of the vent as originally intimated.
In fact the venting duct was very clean.
The Engineer Phil Morgan thoroughly cleaned the drier internally and problem solved.
Phil was very courteous, very professional and throughout the visit and I commend his tenacity to solve the problem for us.
Good customer service from the team on the phone to engineers who are fast and prompt with repairs for my dishwasher. All sorted quickly and always service with a smile

I really regret signing up for 96 months lease agreement for dish washer and glass washer which recently broke down. Things do get break down however it is all about customer satisfaction recovery which has been very poor especially on the last occasion. Regarding dishwasher, It broke down last year in the middle of Summer. Took 2 weeks and 3 visit of engineers from the moment the issue was reported to when the machine was repaired. Each engineer was telling different story of what the problem was. During that time we had go back to basics and do pot washing by hand. Had to take extra employee to do the job. After all the Area Manager called and told his 'story' but no mention of refund or knocking off some money off the bill.. Joke! I thought this one was a one-off.. How wrong I was...
Just recently our glass washer has broken down.. The issue reported on 2 March. On 3rd March the girl from the customer service calls and says the engineers will be in on 4th in the morning.. Fine with me.. At 12pm I call JLA asking where the engineer was and was told he was due to come in the afternoon. Still fine with me... The engineer arrives, takes bits and pieces out of the machine and says he needs a new pump. When asked how long this repair would take he says the pump is in stock so should not take long time. Still fine with me.. 5th March I call the office to get update on progress and being told the part was ordered..Fine with me. 9th March no one from JLA arriving on site with new pump and no one from the office calls to updated about repair. I call customer service and being told they were not sure what angle the pump was so order was still in process? On 10th March (7 days after issue reported) I call customer service and being told they have no updates of when the glass washer will be repaired... I asked the girl from the customer service if she could get Area Manager to call me to discuss this problem and guess what? No one bothers to call.. Due to the issue I had to take extra staff to wash glassware by hand (around 1200 pieces a day) . To summarise I would say get a loan from the bank and buy yourself equipment you want. You will be better off with having you own rather than being tied their service for 96 months.
I just want to say thank you to wayne 3f for the great service. The machine door was not opening so i had to wait for 10 mins, but thanks to him for saving me few coins :) who doesn't love free things :)

There service department is shocking! I bought a Primus dryer through OPL Limited
From the outset the dryer is faulty, I spoke with Steve Donovan @ JLA straight away who told me I needed a transformer fitted to rectify the problem, 8 days later & 2 engineer visits I'm still no closer to the problem being fixed & no clue when or if it will be, but it's ok everyone is sorry!!
Please don't use this firm, they've clearly got to big & don't care!! (IMO)

I can't say enough about the service that JLA gave us in our time of need. Our Andrews water heater sprong a leak in one our buildings, Within 48 hours they supplied and fitted a heat plate and got us up and running again. Be aware of JLA, completely agree with a previous reviewer that this company has changed big time over 18 years I ve been in the trade. No longer the personal touch and I ve had a nightmare with 5 brand new JLA driers over two years I ve owned them. On top of this different workers will tell you different things in JLA and continuous problems with extortionate invoices. I ve tried to contact Credit control with concerns over a demand for an invoice with no luck. They will ignore you when you want to make a complain but intimidate clients with action if raised invoices are questioned.
I miss the people who use to work for JLA years ago, friendly, attentive and always helpful, what a shame this companies greed to take over the industry has changed their company so much in recent years.
I have only written this review as I can not get a response from the accounts team who are ignoring my emails.
I have had to start working with this company since they bought out Laundryserv (who I originally took out my equipment rental contract with)
If you like impersonal call centre handling and have a lot of time to waste being transferred and cut off, then these are the guys to go to. I am still awaiting my yearly service which is a month late and the company is trying to charge me over 300 pounds for a call out on a rented machine which should be all inclusive.
