Not so fast wireless speed for the price (as a person who came from the gigabit internet for $70) and my Google device isn't compatible to the boingo.. This was verified by the tech support. If you want to be innovative and make your Google devices connect, definitely Avoid this ISP!!

Maintains a monopolistic service on many Military bases. Low Quality, high cost, with artificial limitations placed on your internet service (e.i maximum of 3 devices). Don't deal with them unless you have to.
Plus the company is forcing it's employees to leave fake 5 Star reviews, so that's a negative.

Terrible "internet company," am paying for their most expensive package and only getting around 5mbps and signal drops all the time, that's great guess it's another company that likes sucking the money away from the troops just because we don't have any more options.

We've had a great experience using Boingo! We recently signed up for the passpoint and it's been awesome. It automatically logs you onto Wi-Fi when you're near one of the Boingo hotspots, and they're everywhere! We were in Kauai and had Wi-Fi at various places around the island, which was amazing because T-Mobile wasn't that great over there. We recommend!

They charged money from your credit card without your permission. It is the worst service that I ever had. Also, you need to pay money although you did not use.
NEVER USE!!!!!

First, I have not 'hated' the place, as Go0gle automatically preempts people's comments with. The place has acted as though they hate the customer. The place committed fraud and cyber theft against me by falsely stopping my unlimited wifi. They didn't even slow it down, they just stopped it and without even a warning. They started it again but they said that the reason that it was stopped was because I used over 1 gigabyte per day. So they have applied their own meaning to the word unlimited. Regardless of what their terms and agreement says, it can not contradict their header/ purchase selection. Also, 1GB per day is not even a lot. It was a movie at night and a few posts on f.b. in the day. Since they have proven that they allow no more than 1GB per day, then their purchase selection should say '1GB per day'. Their not doing so is the only way that companies, such as them, can become giant corporations. They simply commit fraud and theft against their customers. They need to read the dictionary's definition of the word 'unlimited' and advertise in honest English.

By far the worst internet I've ever used in my life. Terrible connection, all ports blocked so bad for gaming. Only internet company to not let you port forward a device. "Very secure" ya then why'd my pc get a root kit while it was sitting idle doing absolutely nothing but being on. Console gaming 3000 ping minimum. Says lines "congested". Probable want to run another line then. My 5Mbps internet in the small town I grew up at was 100x better then this and I thought that was bad. If your only purpose is the surf web pages. Then it good. Anything else it's absolute garbage even the promises of security.

I've had Boingo Wireless for a bit more than two-a...
I've had Boingo Wireless for a bit more than two-and-a-half years now, and it has only gotten worse. The prices are stupidly high for what they offer ($50 for 30Mb/s), they impose artificial limitations (max 3 devices on extended $50 dollar plan; $10 per additional device), and generally provide mediocre actual service at the best of times, worse than nonexistent at the worst of times.
The reason they're able to get away with highway robbery on their provided internet is that on military installations (like I've been on for the duration of my time with Boingo) they are often the only option available due to the nature of contracts. Just so that it's understood, every time that I've seen a different ISP offered in a location, everyone there is universally disengaged from Boingo and reportedly enjoying their alternatives.
There are two key sticking points, however: Boingo's duplicity in its dealings which has allowed it to retain its contracts, and the frequent outages that plague the Boingo network, the underlying causes of which never seem to be addressed.
On the topic of deceit, Boingo is required to report to the command of a military installation on a regular basis regarding the previous period's performance, to include shortcomings in services such as outages; it is my understanding, however, that while myself and other barracks-type housing residents frequently call to report outages and other service problems, Boingo has been for a lengthy period of time reporting that neither complaints nor outages have occured. As I have documented proof to the contrary, I can only consider this to be a brazen lie.
Regarding outages, these are a frequent nuisance in my life and the lives of others, occuring never less than once a month and typically five, ten, or more times per month. Such outages are annoying but somewhat forgivable when they are handily dispatched by technicians or what-have-you and are complete outages, such that the routers display a lack of internet connection or simply disallow connection, but they grow far more troublesome when, as has- at time of writing- been the case for not less than five full consecutive days-worth of time, 125 hours, the outage is less a sheer lack of internet but more a provision of absolutely rubbish-quality connection that only intermittently even permits the loading of a single web page. This quality- or more accurately the lack thereof- leads to an unnecessarily large time investment for simple tasks and has among my peers been noted to inspire significantly unwholesome desires and ideations in a variety of forms with the objects of these whims ranging from the self, to nearby fellow man, to inanimate objects, to intangible concepts and constructs.
In summary, while there are a few shards of worth provided by Boingo Wireless's internet coverage, it is crippled to the point of despicabilty by the vast degree of incompetence-made-manifest present.
I do not want any shallow platitude-type responses from Boingo to this review. I want either a significant improvement in the service provided, or for competitors to be present in locations with Boingo. I'd also like to actually have working internet, but I'm already going to be ensuring I receive a full refund of this month's bill as recompense for the severe nuisance this month.

It's a scam even if your desperate and want any kind of internet do not do it I will never contribute to a scam that doesn't care about our military and is just in it for the money they are playing you and dont fall for it look at the reviews that is all you need to know anything other then a 1 star is all people being paid to leave a good review and they cant even pay enough people to have a decent review
Do not recommend unless it s your only resort.
Do not recommend unless it s your only resort.
1) Extremely over priced. It s $50+ a month for decent internet. The catch - you can only have 3 devices on the plan, after that it s $10 more per device.
2) Tech Support and costumer service is marginal and limited. At times as expected WiFi internet is slow or has issues, when I call to ask them to reset it they force you to trouble shoot the problem by asking generic info then they ask you power off and on your device (even if you have already). Then regardless of the outcome they say you they can t do it and they have to escalate it to a tier 2 help ticket . This means they will contact you in 24-48hrs.
If you want consistent/reliable internet and a company that has actual tech SUPPORT - DONT USE BOINGO!

If you are in the military, do NOT purchase Boingo unless you are willing to receive headaches. I have spent the past five months attempting to rectify frequent disconnects, only to have technicians try to convince me to purchase the $49.95 extended plan, (Xfinity has a better price and higher download and upload speed,) and once they gave it to me for a week trial, they never downgraded me back to the standard plan, billing me the $49.95.

Worst place to work at period. A lot of favoritism you will have to look out for when you work here. You will have to deal with racist managers that get jealous of you when you do great work. Half the staff is over weight and will not like you if you are not the same. There are disgusting co workers that are obnoxious when you are trying to work. Also look out for the managers that are two faced. They will tell you one thing and say the complete opposite later. DON'T BOTHER WORKING HERE, WASTE OF TIME.
