Ladies and gentlemen. Please please stay away from this company, they will always try to pass blame onto you and charge you ridiculous amounts!

They work behind your back and not to tour benefit just so they can earn a quick buck. The ceo/director of this company should be ashamed of himself but then again he s enjoying our money so...

Once again, please do your research before you commit to this company!

Was kept up to date with when our engineer was on route. The engineer David Devereux was very polite and professional and patiently waited for us to do the required checks before he got on with his work. Would highly recommend this company to other businesses. Well done JLA for your outstanding service!

Friendly helpful staff. booked a Fire Risk assessment time and date confirmed 2 weeks in advanced. All confirmed. Less than 19hrs before the assessment. Assessor calls. Sorry I wont be travelling 3 hours to do your assessment I am too busy. TOTAL JOKE ! Crazy price too. Awaiting refund.

Bought four machines had endless problems with dea...

Bought four machines had endless problems with dealing with them. One machine was ex display should of been new! This machine broke took roughly 4 engineers 5 visits to change 1 board as they kept ordering wrong board staff never rang me when they didn t bother to show up. Was told this was a one off.
I was refunded money on ex display machine that took over a week to repair.

Second machine is now broken, it s now been 3 days since reported and every day a message saying there planning on coming that day but no engineer and shockingly again no phone call I have to chase them. I thought my poor service the first time was a one off!
After speaking to Jordan in the complaints department apparently people who rent machines get priority so if your think of paying in full and not renting go else where I bought the four machines as a trial ppl like the big size washers but I can t deal with a company that lies, sells second hand machines as new and staff that treat you a second best because you bought your machines instead of renting!

Such a shame! This Company used to be fantastic, great machines, great service team and helpful, informative but not pushy sales and admin personnel.
We had the pleasure of first using JLA Limited over 10 years ago and considered them the perfect company, who I would regularly recommend to friends and associates.
However for some reason over the last 6 years or so the company seems to have lost its ethos, resulting in our company writing this review.
The company now fails on all levels.
The incessant calls from sales staff asking if we want to upgrade our machines or if we would like other products they offer, these people have no idea as to when calls have previously been made.
Along with Service admin staff who are quite happy to repeatedly call asking to book in annual services even though these services have previously been booked in.
In the event of a fault with the machine, even with knowledge of the known fault, engineers will arrive on site not fully prepared to mend the fault, taking advantage of additional call out charges and hourly rates noting that most jobs tend to last just over the half hour mark enabling the company to charge for the full hour.
When invoices are questioned certain members of JLA's accounts department refuse to acknowledge the companies mistakes unless pressed very hard with insurmountable evidence against the company.
We were looking at updating our machines with JLA but have been reluctant to do so fearing the build quality of the new machines may have deteriorated along with the rest of the company.
I can understand that the company would much prefer customers to lease their machines and be under warranty contracts but by treating owners of machines as they do undermines all trust and faith in a once great company.
I'm sure the JLA directors are happy with the year on year improved financials of the company but feel they need to address the disjointed way the company now operates.
We have since found an alternative company who offer everything JLA used to and they appear to have found a balance between the accountants running the finances and the overall customer experience.
I would not recommend JLA Limited as it is now.

The machines are to a high standard.
We had engineer Barry coming out to do yearly servicing. He was really nice, professional and helpful.
I only give 4 stars though because of the call centre evening staff. I had to call few times to enquire but the evening staff was rude and unhelpful telling me to call during office hours.

We have been working with JLA for many years and they have taken away the problems we had with our laundry. The staff have made sure we are compliant and the fast call outs have been great for our business as we only have one machine and we cant be without it.

Total disgrace of a company. Been a customer of in excess of 20 years but unable to fit me a new machine, been broken for over 2 months now and despite 7 visits still no further forward. No one seems to know what they are doing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Failed to provide us with efficient service... machines are always breaking down and when you have elderly your looking after and have no clean towels and laundry because JLA call and say they cant make it out to fix our machines, it's not very good.

Overcharged on the part, had to collect part myself (still better than waiting another two days), long delays to fit. This seems to be repeatedly happening. You pay a regular monthly charge for labour costs and they grossly over-charge on the replacement part. what's the point of the monthly charge?

Despite hardly ever using JLA on the one time my oven breaks down 7am on a Friday morning, they couldn't get anyone to me until Monday before 5pm. apparently the engineer is unwell and cant attend today. We spend hundreds per month paying for a service we hardly use, and whenever they visit the problem seem to cost about double than any other service providers to repair. I'm cancelling my contract and will be looking elsewhere. Us smaller businesses obviously does not matter to JLA.

From the experience I have had from JLA I would not expect it from any other company. I will never recommend JLA to any one and I hope they improve there service department which in my opinion is a total disgrace. The staff have no inter-personal communication skills, especially certain members of staff whom they know who they are. They have a tendency to put the phone down on you or tend to chin wag between themselves to come to a conclusion. Sometimes they leave the waiting call open (by mistake) so that you can hear what they are talking about amongst themselves!!
I have had nothing but misery from these people and hope no one else suffers like this. I would greatly appreciate it if one of the directors/or senior managers would contact me as on many occasions I have been refused there contact details. Even though I have asked the operators in the service department to ask the senior managers to ring me.

We have a warranty agreement with JLA. Being used in a veterinary practice: our tumble dryer and washing machine are real work horses - they are used all day every day. So occasionally they have a sick day. If we ever have any trouble with either our washing machine or tumble dryer, one quick phone call and an engineer will come out within 24 hours. The customer care advisor is always friendly and helpful. Our normal engineer is always very thorough and doesn't leave until the machine is fully useable again. The engineers leave detailed notes on the work they've done with the machine in case we have a reoccuring problem. Couldn't be without this service, our practice relies on it a lot!

I have only given them 1 because it's the lowest you can give someone. I have never in my carer come across a company with such horrendous customer service.

It took 2 weeks for this company to respond to a warranty breakdown call despite 3 phone calls every day, they then refused to pay for the item even thought it was under warranty, once we'd finally agreed to pay for it ourselves just to get the Macerator working again we get 2 phone calls from 2 different contacts at JLA asking us for pro-forma payment even though we have an account and then I receive an email from a 3rd person saying the machine is now out of warranty and that we need to take out a rapid response package even though the machine has only been installed for 2 months.

Unbelievable company. I can't believe they're still in business. Don't go near them.

We had a problem with our washing machine drum full of dirty water which had not drained. We rang JLA and the engineer arrived within 1hr and half. Kerry the engineer quickly diagnosed the fault as a blocked pump. He removed blockage and had the machine back up and fully running in under 30 mins. I cannot recommend Kerry highly enough' he was a pleasure to be around.
