We bought a Malibu for our teenager at Jim Butler Chevrolet in Fenton. The Sales guys were honest and really took the time we needed to decide on our purchase. They explained the car's safety rating, which was a huge factor in deciding which car we purchased for a teenage boy. We have taken the car in for service and they were wonderful in the service department, too. After his first "fender bender", we took it back into them and they took great care of us.

I met with Brett on getting a New 2018 Chevy Malibu, and he did his best to make sure i got a good price on it.
Had to take my 2018 Malibu in because I was getting a error message in the driver information center of my dashboard saying "shift to park" even though the car was off and in park. Thankfully it was under warranty and Jim Butler was able to fix and suggest I get an alignment done as well.
05-21-2020-this is the second time I've gotten a car Brett, this time i upgraded from a 2018 Malibu LS(trade in) to a 2020 Malibu LT the car is great and i couldn't be happier. And thanks to brett i was able to get it I did have to do a little extra to get the payments down as i figured that would the case with a new car, Brett was able to find exactly what i want and i didn't overly pressured to do things as he definitely helped work with me. I would recommend anyone to come see him if they're in the market at all(and no im not getting thing extra to write this review). I told Brett that i was looking to upgrade to a new year model Malibu if i could and he made sure that i felt comfortable with it and made sure that i got what i wanted. the overall fiance experience was good, just had to do a little bit of negotiation to get the payments to where I like them but overall it wasa good experience i didn't feel like they were being mean or anything with. This is also the second time I've done business with Jim Butler and both times
7-8-2020 Guess I've been having bad luck with getting screws in my new 2020 Malibu tires. But thankfully jim butler was able to patch it both times and got me back on the road in no time.

Absolutely love this place!!! I had went in originally to get a recall fixed on my car at the time I had a 2012 Chevy Cruze that I had gotten from insta credit Automart in Arnold. I had only had this car for about 2 months, while only having this car for such a short time I had issues with the car, it got so bad that when driving I kept looking down at the temperature gauge. So while I was at Jim butler and they were fixing the recall on my vehicle I decided to see if there was a way to get out of that car and into something much better, that was when I met my awesome car salesman Todd Knickman! Let me just say that this guy is amazing, he was totally understanding and wanted to help me get out of my old car that I was basically scared to drive and into a brand new 2017 Chevy Cruze. After having such a bad experience at insta credit, he turned the experience I had with him into an awesome one! I've only had a working relationship with them for about two months now but so far I have to say I am impressed.
Sales: Originally I was not even looking to buy. I was bored on a Friday night and went to look at used cars. Tony Palmer was the used car salesman at the time. Tony is downright outstanding. It's been said that any good sales guy can sell you a car when you are shopping. A great salesman like Tony can do so much more. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and found the best options to fit my needs and budget. He had my needs as the #1 priority and that says a lot. After working the numbers on a used car Tony and finance came back to me and explained to me that it was actually better to go with a new car because the incentives at the time actually made for a much better deal. Again; any sales guy could have dumped me into a used car and sent me on my way but Tony worked very hard to make sure I had the best deal for my money. My car ended up being a dealer trade from another dealership... and at the last second that other dealer backed out of the trade. Tony, finance, and the sales manager all worked very hard to find me another car. In fact, they actually found me a better car than the one I originally selected! Pricing and options were clearly presented to me without any pressure, sales jargon, or "foursquare" tactics. I was very impressed with my experience.
Finance: The finance manager Keith played a key part in helping me choose a new over used car. He not only told me it was a better deal but explained to me why. He presented me with all options for my contract selling me the things I needed and didn't try to pressure me into buying things I didn't want. I recommend the wheel and tire package as well as gap insurance. I had a slight hiccup with my paperwork when doing the deal. Nothing major and Mike Zarlingo the finance director personally made this right and did so quickly.
Rental: The rental team is was quick to get me in a loaner for my service appointments making sure all my needs were met.
Parts: I've only worked with the parts team to look up upgrades for my car but they were very helpful.
Body Shop: I had a minor touch up that needed to be done to the door of my car. Excellent work.
Service: I've worked with both the service advisor Kevin Kenefick and the manager Mike Simms. I'm very pleased with the service department. From the moment you pull on the lot the service intake staff is very quick to get you checked in and the ladies working the service reception area are very nice. I brought my car in for a rattle that it was making. As anyone knows these can be a nightmare to diagnose. At first we couldn't find it. Honestly there wasn't much service could do if we couldn't locate it. However, after taking the car home and the weather getting colder I was able to narrow it down to a general area. That's where Mike and his team come in. Mike personally came out to look at the car and brought several people out to take a look at what this could potentially be. They spent a great deal of time and effort to fix this problem. They also did one thing that I truly respect. They listened to and valued my input. We worked together to fix the problem which is something you don't always get. Joe the service technician for my car did top notch work getting my rattle isolated and solved. Before the rattle was fixed I was starting to hate my car. Thanks to Mike and his team I am as excited today as I was the day I bought it.

Bought a used truck from them 3 months ago and after a terrible sales experience I'm still dealing with the service department in getting something fixed that was part of the sales agreement. The truck has been there 4 diff times, they actually have it now and for the last week, when they told me it would take one day. On a good note the finance guy was great as he actually made the sale, everyone else I've encountered has been completely unprofessional.
We were very pleased with everyone who helped us. John was very knowledgeable, gave us all the options we asked for and made the buying experience very enjoyable. We are very pleased with both vehicles purchased.

Had my 2018 Silverado High Country in for its first oil change and also noticed both of the tires on passenger side of the truck were starting to pull apart at the seam near the rims. Pointed it out to my service advisor (Mike), who immediately suggested that could be problematic and shouldn't be driven on much further. Long story short, he was able to get 2 matching tires ordered overnight and had them installed to replace the defective ones, along with performing oil change, etc so I didn't have to make a separate trip back to the dealership to deal with the tires situation. Within 15 minutes of my arrival, Mike had everything lined up to be taken care of and had me in a loaner vehicle so I could leave my truck overnight. Made entire process very painless and smooth.
My fiance and I hust purchased a vehicle from here. Zach Knott and all the other staff were very friendly and were able to get us into a new vehicle. We will definitely recommend them to our family and friends. Thank you again for everything you all did for us!

I was so pleased with the experience I went through that I already have told people to go here. They made it as easy as they could and appreciated there hard work.
I bought a brand new car from JB about 10 mos ago. When we did the paperwork I noticed that "somehow mysteriously" an extended warranty was included on my financing and I adamantly refused this when asked. When I brought it to the attention of the finance guy he acted surprised and apologized for the error. He promised he would fix it. Told me not to worry, no need to call the finance company... All would be well. Yet, here I am trying to refinance my car 10 mos later just to discover that he NEVER took care of it. It's still there, I'm still paying for it. I called JB, spoke to a manager that told me he would cancel it immediately and I should hear back from them the following day. I can't help but feel scammed. It's a sickening feeling. I will NEVER be setting foot back in this dealership again. It's a shame.

It is not your specific dealership, but Chevy as a whole. You have designed expensive repairs into your cars. On the malibu and cobalt you have designed the AC in such a way that the release gets blocked and the only way to fix it is to go through the dash $100 part $2000 in labor. Chevy has installed the cheapest clutch and thin clutch plate known to man. Again not selling the components separately but as a whole making the repair much more expensive. I had almost 250 thousand miles on a car without having to replace the clutch but my Chevy cobalt every 60,000 miles like clock work. My next car will not be American made because of the poor quality Chevy cars have, For gods sake my friends Malibu's dash melted (in the sun) Chevy should be ashamed to sell such low quality trash and call it American

Came in to have my Genuine GM accessory remote start added on to my Silverado. The service rep and staff that I interacted with were all great and very accommodating. Price was a little higher than what others on the internet had quoted but its a job only a GM tech can perform. Turns out when you mess with the keyless lock system it also resets your TPMS sensors so those bugged out but the techs were able to reset them for me in 3 minutes for no charge the day after. Overall great experience. I'd use them again for this GM specific electronic work.

Their fresh start program is no different then a buy here pay here dealer please do not waste your time because you ll get a $6000 car and end up paying 18,000 with 175,000 miles on it.The lady I talk to on the phone is very misleading I went down there to have a option of three cars I told him I had a family of six in one of the cars they offer me was a two door in the car that I did get had 175,000 miles on it in the car traded in only had 166,000 into 10 years A fresh start program shouldn t be a car with 175,000 miles on it be careful of this place

Their service dept. is above the rest! We've been experiencing issues with our vehicle that we purchased there years ago. Kim was the face of that service dept for us and is a dedicated employee and customer service provider.
