I recently bought a Mitsubishi Mirage from Jenkins. I've bought a lot of cars during the years, but have NEVER had such a good experience. Jordon and Scotty Hancock went above and beyond getting me into a better car that fit my budget! Everyone is so personable and nice! I would recommend them to everyone looking for a nice car. They are awesome! I can't say enough!

They are very crooked people we bought a car with cash and the trunk broke within the first week and they would not fix it. They even told us they would fix it within the first month unless we buy their warranty even after we already have a warranty.

Just picked up my car from Jenkins Acura in Ocala....

Just picked up my car from Jenkins Acura in Ocala. I was having some routine service on my vehicle as well as having an AIRBAG system light checked. The service was great except that Jenkins Acura charged $60 for the AIRBAG system light. Normally this would be fine; however, it was explained the diagnostic showed nothing so they had to disconnect and reconnect the battery terminals. Because it was a non issue a charge of $60 was issued.

*this is also a certified preowned vehicle STILL under warranty

Great for routine service but next time I m going elsewhere.

I am a long time customer of Jenkins Acura. I purchased my first Acura TL in 2005 and maintained service through Jenkins Acura service department for NO other reason than Bobby Craft. And when I needed to purchase my next vehicle, there was no doubt I was headed back to Jenkins Acura for another Acura. The sales team was great! John, Sonny, Jason, and Steven took care of everything and I didn't feel like I got raked over the coals (haha!). I have and will continue to refer friends and family to Jenkins Acura and I will continue to have my service maintained by Bobby Craft, Pete, and Jeff. Thank you Jenkins Acura for making me feel secure with my vehicles so my time and energy is focused on what's really important in life- family.

Carl was our Sale's agent and he was a true professional. He was very courteous and patient. He took the time to do a good test drive with us, helped answer all of my questions, as well as listened to my needs of what I wanted in a new vehicle. The Manager Steven worked closely with my Husband to make sure we were able to get the best deal possible. I will definitely be taking my new Acura RDX to be serviced here and to trade in for an upgrade when the time comes. Thanks Jenkins Acura for getting me into my new beautiful Black 2019 RDX with all the safety features I needed to help keep me safe on the road! Extra kudos to Jenkins Acura for employing mostly Veterans as we are a big Military Family!

Being a Saturday, it took much longer for an oil change, with having only one mechanic doing oil changes. Your service writer came out and appologized for the long wait and gave me 2 car wash coupons to make up for the long wait. In addition, your facility ordered out lunch of subs and pizza and shared with the customers, a very nice gesture. I have dealt with your service manager in the past at the Hyundai dealership and find he works with you on price , even on the smallest job, which I greatly appreciate. Joel is a great asset for Jenkins Acura.

Worse experience ever. I went looking for a newer vehicle. The 1st thing i told the salesman I'm ALREADY APPROVED with my Credit Union, I need a BUYERS ORDER to take to them and they will do the rest. The salesman asked if he could have my DRL's to do a soft check that WILL NOT show on my file to try and get me financing from Acura, NO I'M ALREADY APPROVED. I ask several will that show on my Credit File he said NO. I said NO i don't want to do anything that will show on my Credit File because it will lower my score and AGAIN, I'M ALREADY APPROVED. Before i new anything he was fast talking and had me sign a few papers and said here are your keys to your new vehicle CONGRATS. This a long story and BIG MESS. Acura ran my credit 19 times which i found out from my Credit Union. Acura also said they got me approved??? When did you do that because they where still running my Credit 1 month later, WHO DOES THAT?? AND Why did u do that when i said i was APPROVED ALREADY. I HAVE MY NEW CAR WHICH I PURCHASED ELSEWHERE in spite of them RUNNING MY CREDIT 19 times which lowered my score and will stay on my file for 2 years. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AND I WILL TELL EVERYBODY I NO DON'T GO THERE. I LOVE MY NEW CAR THANKS to the other Dealership who did what i ask and they earned my business.

Referred a friend to the sales team Brandon and Danny for a used car. My friend was unsure if she could get traditional financing. These guys were amazing. They worked to get her into a newer model car with low miles that was absolutely perfect for her. They accepted nothing less than the best for her. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a car. Also, the other sales and finance people we came into contact with were all very pleasant and helpful. The whole environment on the office was upbeat and it was actually fun to be there.

Excellent experience. Bobby in the service department was very friendly and Jeff (technician) was very knowledgable and helped me understand the issue with my car. They took care of my Acura under warranty and I was in and out within 2 hours. My other SUV was purchased at Jenkins Honda (Leesburg) and i had similar positive experience even then.

We actually went in to buy our daughter a new car but ended up buying two cars because it was such a great deal. My only question to myself is why have I not bought here before? Arrived bright and early for some maintenance and oil change. Staff were so friendly, even at 7am! Very welcoming environment while the little one and I waited. Great service, they even do a wash and vacuum, car is running great, price and service was top notch. This is our new maintenance spot!

FIRST TIME BUYERS BEWARE- I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, especially younger, first time buyers. The Used Car Manager (Wayne) is not trustworthy and unethical and ruined my daughter-in-law s first car buying experience. After numerous calls and no response, I tried to contact the GM to to resolve the situation and he hasn t returned my phone calls either. I expected more from an Acura dealer.

This review is a year late, but I wanted to share our experience with Jenkins Acura. Our family is from Atlanta and was driving to Port Canaveral in September 2018 for a cruise when we heard a loud noise coming from the front of our MDX. We stopped twice to try to locate the source and saw nothing so we stopped into Jenkins to ask for help. They noticed that the rubber seal around the front windshield had come lose. The windshield had been replaced by Safelite a couple of years prior. Jenkins secured the seal for us so we could make our trip and have Safelite repair when we got home. We were very appreciative of their help and friendly service. Thank you!

Buying experience was terrible. Misleading and questionable tactics on the part of the finance/sales manager. They were not up front and on the border of ethical business practices. They wasted my time. The actual sales person was very good but had no part other than showing the vehicle. I politely disengaged and one of the managers stopped us as we were pulling out of the parking lot. He said he would look at what happened and get back to me. No follow up, which is ok as I do not trust this dealership. On the way home all I could think of is this is how car sales people get bad reputations.

One key point, this is not about price it is about methods.

Bought a 2016 Acura and drove from jacksonville. The car had slight vibration but was assured that it should go away with some driving as it is a flat spot on tires due to it being sitting on the parking lot for too long. When I bought it had 159 miles, I drove it to 1000 miles and now the vibration has gotten worse and more so there is vibration at idle and you feel like you ARE sitting on engine. I took it back to dealership and first thing that happened was the service manager Cindy came out and rudely said that I was late, even when I was driving 2 hrs from Jax just to address the issue that I was having. As soon as I started explaining that the car has vibration from engine at idle, she got in the car turned it ON and concluded right away that there is not issue. I insisted that let a tech check it so they took it in. After few hrs, they she came out and said that there was no issue. So I insisted that the tech take a test drive with me after which, the tech agreed that there is an issue and he said he will do a road force balance as recommended by me. After roadforce balance, which was end of day, I drove back to jax and I can say that the car has gotten worse. The ride was uncomfortable to say the least, the road noise went up and now I also have wind noise. I was highly dis-satisfied with the response that I got after sales from the sales persona nd the service manager was extremely rude. I also found out today that when acura client relations, with whom I had opened a case for the issue with the car called the dealer, the service manager lied that the tech found no issue and the vibration happens at 90 miles/hr and we never drove at that speed. During the test drive, the tech mentioned that they were getting lots of complaint and it could be due to the fuel pump; etc but lets try the tires first. It seems like a there is an issue with the service dept at this dealership and they won't respond after the sale is done. Be aware.

I bought a preowned Honda car from this Acura place 3 years ago with extended 5 years warranty with Fatality. I am a college student working 2 jobs, when my car engine broke down. I took my car to Acura and they said it will take $15k to fix the car engine that I only bought for $13k. Fatality wouldn't accept that. I had my car at Acura for 3 weeks, Acura did not do anything or get approval from the insurance yet. They already pull my car engine apart and charge me $500 for what they called "diagnosed." Then, when I decided to tolled the car to Honda, Honda only charged me $3,300 to replace the engine, which it is cover under my warranty with Fatality. My point here is why do Acura charging $15k to replace an engine? Also charge me $500 out of pocket for diagnosed when I have extended warranty. I will not buy my any car from this dealership because they take my money. Later on, when my car have problems, they trying to avoid their responsibilities.

Listen. Nothing about this post is made up, if you're like me and check reviews like crazy and are very scared of purchasing a vehicle PLEASE read this in it's entirety. I have spent 6 years driving around a 2005 Hyundai Elantra that did nothing but give me problems and cause alot of stress in my life. That car stopped working 2 to 3 months before I graduated college and it was so hard managing that when I have two kids. I couldn't afford to get another vehicle and no one would finance me alone and I mean NO ONE. My credit is horrible. (with the exception of 2 legit buy here pay heres ready to sell me a rebuilt title car and another with high miles, probably a lemon) Thomas Sims was my salesman and he was so patient with my anxieties and a million questions. I was able to get into a super clean 2013 Ford Edge with payments below $300/mo and I really can't put into words how life changing this is for me and my family. I cried happy tears almost all the way home. I live in Holly Hill which is an hour and a half away. And it was EXTREMELY WORTH IT!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Covid 19 has reduced some of the amenities, mostly food and beverage, that are usually provided, but that s understandable. Precautions have been taken to keep customers and employees safe. This does not diminish our satisfaction and 5 star rating. What I like the most is the long term relationship with the same service technician. He knows us and he knows our car. He also checks with us on any other issues with the car before they perform the service. We ve always been treated fairly with honesty and candidness. Thank you, Bobby Craft.

Don t buy a used vehicle from Jenkins Acura !!! I bought one from them and have had electrical problems from day one . They just keep brushing me off and telling me to go see a Hyundai mechanic because their mechanics are not equipped to do the same job . I gave them a lot of money for my vehicle and traded in my Jeep to them that honestly was a much better vehicle than the one they sold me. My car has left me started with my toddler 3 times , the accelerator won t work and the radio/navigation won t come on half of the time . These people only care about you when they re trying to sell you something. Once you bought the vehicle they re done with you.

I wrote a review Sunday night, received email responses and a text message early morning Monday by the General Manager himself. I personally thought my review would be swept underneath the rug like most places but I was pleasantly surprised with David Dern. Him and Lisa (the customer relations mgr) reached out to me to listen to my story and to make things right. I am not a person who is unreasonable. Not one of those people who demands for "free" things or compensation just because- I just want what was promised and proposed to me. David was cool to talk to, he was straight to the point and completely understanding. He stood behind his team as any good leader would but took responsibility as well. Trust me when I say- I was angry, really angry and after talking to him I am a fan. And it's not because he gave me a crazy good deal- but because he showed honesty and compassion. Thanks David!

I have bought two cars (a 2010 TL and a 2012 TL) from Jenkins Acura and I could not be more pleased. There are no high pressure sales tactics which is a real treat when car shopping. I have found the staff to be very friendly both in sales and service. I think this can be attributed to General Manager Doug, he's such a friendly person. They have gone out of their way to earn my business and get me the prices that I wanted. Because of this I will certainly be buying cars from them in the future.

I am disappointed but I'm headed to Tampa as I found a dealership everything is ready all I need is down payment and signature. I wish we could have made it work as jenkins is close to home, but I got tired of waiting and possibly for nothing.

We had a great experience buying a used car here. Salesman Karl Forbes was a pleasure to deal with and we left with a great car. We looked for a specific car for months and visited a lot of dealerships in the process. This one by far was the most professional. Sonny in finance was very efficient and not pushy about extended warranties, etc... I can't say enough about our sales person Karl though. He was friendly, patient, and not like the typical car salesmen that are out there. We left with a great car and a positive experience at this dealership.

I took my vehicle in for a oil change and a tire rotation, I dropped my car off at 12pm(earlier than my appt) and it was not done until 430pm. My car did not have the tires rotated because they were marked and they had my car sitting there like it was done. I dont appreciate being charged for services my car did not receive.I do not like the service there and I will probably take my Acura to Honda where I NEVER had any issues.

I had an appointment for my Acura . I spoke to Mandy and confirmed my appointment . I had a service maintenance plan and i called on Friday and told them about that. So i called twice about my appointment. The appointment was scheduled for Tuesday at 7:30 am .I went for the service Tuesday at 7:30 am and the Maintenance person Mr.Bob said that i didn't have an appointment. I gave my last name and my telephone number and he says i didn't have an appointment for my name and also with the telephone number he checked and said he cannot do the service. I asked him if there was any appointment for my car service at any time he said there was no appointment. I called Mandy later and she said that i had an appointment for Monday and not Tuesday . If my appointment was for Monday Bob should have told me that my appointment was for Monday but he never mentioned it . The worst thing is they are blaming me about the appointment. This is the poor service From Jenkins Acura and their staff they do not care about the people and their value of time .

My 2014 Acura RDX had a couple areas on the bucket...

My 2014 Acura RDX had a couple areas on the bucket seats where the leather seemed to be peeling off a bit. Jenkins had a body shop tech come in to address/fix the issues and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I wasn't sure anything could be done so I hesitated even asking about it but I am glad I did. I am very particular about my car and I honestly cannot see where the peeling had been before the repair was made. Great job by the body shop tech and excellent service from Jenkins.

This was my first time dealing with Jenkins Acura service department and they were great. Only a little over an hour for them to diagnose the problem and order the part. The part was in the next day. I was able to schedule an appointment for installing the part quickly and to fit my schedule. Highly satisfied with them.

WE chose a 2006 car to purchase. We said we will be paying cash and we had to go to our bank and arrange the transaction. They insisted or more like demanded that we leave a check for the full amount of the car , We didn't think this was good business, but we left a check. Our banker looked over the 2006 car papers from the dealer and being long time friends with this bank ' She said they are trying to rip you off. and this car will not get the gas mileage they have stated.., also it was wrong to leave a check!! She said go back an get the check .; They would Not give us the check back and said we will deliver the car to your house!!! We phoned the our Banker ,She said 'Fine" and stopped payment on the check.

We stopped in the used cars area and had a great salesman help us. Drove a 2011 Acura, and LOVED it, so then we started talking price. At this point we had been there a couple of hours so it was time to get serious, and Juan, one of the managers stepped in. Unfortunately the "smoke and mirrors" tactics began, and to lower the price they took the Certified part off (it hadn't been through the list of items checked to get Certified yet). He was so busy telling me how wonderful Acuras are, but he wasn't willing to negotiate a better price. It wasn't until we left the building and got in our car that someone came running out to tell us he'd lower the price by $4500! Hell, if he'd done that to begin with we'd have bought that car, but by that time I was so disgusted I had no desire to do business with them. And yes, we went elsewhere and bought a car that day.

Despite passing up one of the largest auto malls i...

Despite passing up one of the largest auto malls in Daytona, a search on the Web yielded EXACTLY what I wanted, i.e., a white Nissan Murano, previously owned, with Car Fax report, auto train warrantee and low mileage. Named, aptly, after a work of art (Murano Glass in Italy), its 'line and form' continued to fascinate the Designer in me. A call to this dealer, at first, yielded disappointing results when I was told it had been sold. However, the salesman ASSURED me he had something comparable that would PLEASE ME. Not so, plus the story he told about my car 'probably needing a $2K repair, led me to the water...and I brought the WRONG car, driving it home 60 miles away. BETTER NEWS: Phoned the next day; spoke to the same person who listened and promised to call me back. Four hours later, and still very concerned, I called again, this time asking for the President's office. My message went into voice mail (as I didn't know HE was away for a few days...that was on a Thurs.). THE BEST POSSIBLE NEWS: Mr. Thomas Formanack, ONE of the Pres. of this 6-car dealership, called me Sat. morning! He asked what drew us to that dealership and about our experience. I reiterated, stating that 'had the Nissan Murano been available, it would have been a 'slam/dunk,' since I fell in love with that car over five years ago.. He, too, promised a return call. GUESS WHAT? Within 30 mins., this man KEPT HIS WORD and played music into my ears with the following sentence..."I have your Murano." I was OVER THE MOON and asked when we could return the 'wrong' car for the car of my dreams.' He said, "Better yet, Didn't you state your husband was on a walker and you were on crutches, having sprained your ankle a few days ago?" Affirmative. (WOW, this guy REALLY listened!) He said 'THEY' would bring out the Murano (thus saving us a l20-mile round trip); picking up the first car and just have us resign the paperwork. WOW, WOW, WOW! Talk about satisfying the customer, above AND beyond my wildest dreams. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this new car, insomuch as one can love an inanimate object. IT has all the 'bells and whistles' including a backup camera, leather interior and moon roof (for HIM; I'm a 'STAR' person). THANK YOU, Tom Formanack, from the top to the bottom of our hearts. If we could give you SIX stars, we absolutely WOULD!

Horrible experience. As a young adult I d expect to be treated with respect and as an adult. That was not the case here. Horrible customer service and horrible attitudes. Also would not recommend bringing your car here for maintenance because more than likely it s not fixed. Constant back and forth with this place. Would not recommend to anyone that expects things to be done right the first time.

Sales guy was informative and not pushy at all the manager was awesome and Charle ( the finance guy) were all awesome!!! I can't say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is great the staff is wonderful and they make you feel at home.... they put up with all my questions and did it with a smile gave us advice and helped get us into exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted!!! Thanks guys

I went to Acura because I was referred by a close friend and being this was the first car i was buying without my parents help it was a bit scared. But The sales man Sonny Khan was amazing. He made me feel so at home like he was family, and he made the scary experience a little less scary. He joked around and made my sister and I super excited to buy a car. I would recommend them to everyone I know. Plus all their staff is so friendly and nice its not like those other places.

Took my Acura in for scheduled service. What a pleasant experience! Everything from initial greeting to final check-out was first class. The waiting area was clean and well stocked with food and beverages. My service was completed on schedule and all of the work, including the wash and interior cleaning, exceeded expectations.

I have been wanting to upgrade to a better vehicle...

I have been wanting to upgrade to a better vehicle for a while, when I came by to look at some of the used vehicles yesterday I met Sterling and through her, Sonny. They both helped me out a lot with Sterling setting up a convenient appointment and detailing everything I would need to make a purchase. Honestly going into the appointment with Sonny I had no intention of leaving Jenkins Acura with a new car, but I did. Not because I felt I had no option but because I was given the best option. Now I am the happy owner of 2011 Chevy Impala and feel like a balla! Thanks again for Sterling's invaluable advice and Sonny's commitment. I would gladly recommend my friends and family to Jenkins Acura.
