First time I visited the dealership. I knew what I wanted, had VIN numbers in hand, and an appointment scheduled. I was met at the door by an amped-up, slick-dressed corporate carnival barker who had been assigned there for a few days on his way to Detroit. He was polished and knew all the tricks of the trade. He reminded me of the guys who stand outside the clubs on Bourbon Street trying to steer you inside. He was fun to watch but way over the top. Make an appointment with a specific sales rep.

Ask for Remi. He works in internet sales and is a straight shooter. We negotiated in a nondescript showroom of a different building. If you're accustomed to the used car lots on Dixie Highway you'll find this place to be nice enough. If you're used to Kings AutoMall or Performance dealerships, then you may not like the setting. Incidentally, I saw no female sales, service or finance reps. It was a male-dominated culture with all the banter, but they were respectful to everyone.

I was looking at two used commercial vehicles but one had been taken by another dealer just minutes before. The other was a stripped down cargo van with 300 miles added by the dealership. When we opened the rear doors, the inside looked like a barn. If you've bailed hay you know how the dust and chaff settles everywhere. The dealership had used it to haul straw and never cleaned it. I was amused until I saw a $900 up charge for an Environmental Protection Assurance Package (EPAP), which I was told is on all of their vehicles. This is a 12 month warranty covering paint sealer and "interior care". Consider the interior care required of a stripped out dirty straw hauler - two upholstered seats. They offered to lower it to $300.

The negotiation process is like most other dealerships employing the same tactics. It's like cleaning a sewer drain. There's a fair deal on the other side if you cut through all the dealer BS in the process. Besides the EPAP up-charge, they will try to up-sell you extended warranties or certify your used vehicle for an extra $1,000. Cashing out takes about an hour. Mark Postallian was a good guy and very helpful.

When prepping the vehicle they forgot to reattach the antenna. I didn't notice it until I turned on the radio while on the road. I had to drive back to the service department. After failing to locate the antenna, they had to scavenge one from another vehicle before sending me on my way. That was another hour of my time spent for someone's lack of attention to detail.

Another pet peeve is that a second key is now considered an "accessory". It takes a week for them to order and an hour to fit to the vehicle. I wasn't charged for it, thanks to a seasonal gift promotion, but will have to make another appointment to get it. So I will get another chance to interact with the service department and give them a fair shake.

12/28 post script: 4 weeks after buying my vehicle, I was told that my second key had not even been ordered. During this time I had called and emailed my service advisor who did not reply. I called the parts department and talked to Tagg who was very helpful. Overall, not impressed with this organization's lack of communication.

Great service every time I bring my jeep in for work. I have bought most of my Jeeps from Jake Sweeney Jeep and I have all of them serviced there when its time. I have even let them service my wife's Nissan from time to time. Over all very happy with the sales people and service deportment.

Had to have my Jeep commander towed in, Robbie in service explained it was the starter. Under warranty great news. A week and a half later I still do not have my Jeep and no calls from service, sales etc... beyond upset. When I call I get the same story... parts haven't come in yet. Wont be taking anymore business to Jake Sweeney!

I went car shopping at Jake Sweeney Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM last Saturday 11/24/18 to look for a new vehicle.

I was greeted by Michael Gresham , who made me feel comfortable right from the start while on the showroom floor. He showed me around and guided me through the available cars that was within my budget and didn't try to up sale me.

I've purchased new cars in the past. However, I must say that this was my best car shopping experience ever. Michael was very informative and he provided every answer to my questions and even sent me a video to download to my phone to show me how to navigate my new Jeep and set up my phone to my Jeep.

Nowadays, it's commonly seen that car salesmen just don t do enough good jobs and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. But, salesman like Michael who delivered incredible service and gave me a very pleasant experience is a welcome change to the "norm". He is most certainly an exception to the rule!

I will be coming to your showroom for the years ahead because of the buying experience that Michael provided.

I took my Jeep to Jake's Weenie for regularly scheduled maintenance a few years ago. On the drive home from their service center, my transmission pan lost the seal, and all of the fluid shot out all over the my exhaust and highway (nice smoke screen for everyone on I-75 behind me I'm sure). I had to have the car towed to their place to fix it. I was told they didn't get the pan cover sealed properly after maintenance. All good, mistakes happen. "I'll give them another shot later" I thought to myself.

I took my Jeep back to Jake Sweeney's a few years later to replace a failing wheel bearing. Had a scheduled appointment for 8am Tuesday morning. They didn't get to my car until Thursday at 3PM. They told me it wasn't the wheel bearing, but a bushing for the sway bar needed replaced. Repair was $450 and they would call me when it was ready. Friday at 4PM someone called and said the vehicle was ready. As soon as I pulled off the lot, the same chief complaint was still present...sounds like a wheel bearing is going out. Loud rotational grinding. You can't miss it. Took the vehicle back, they took it for a drive and said it was my "aggressive" tires and tried to sell me a new set. Strange, the tires are the same as the OE tires, and they hadn't made a similar noise on the previous set of tires. Also, odd that it took 90K miles until I noticed the tires were loud. So, I told them to forget it. I picked up the vehicle and took it to King's.

King's replaced the wheel bearing, and the problem was solved in a matter of hours for less than what Sweeney charged me to NOT fix the issue.

I would not recommend Jake Sweeney's service department for anything.

I have always serviced my vehicle with them and I have always had exceptional work done every time. A few days ago I decided to replace all my tires and Tom Watson helped me make the process easier and answered every question I had. Karen & Chris Engle provided phenomenal support as well. I brought my Ram in for an oil change this morning, it took 90 minutes to complete. When I went outside to my truck I had oil literally running down the front of my grill... I had greasy hand prints all over my grill, hood and driver side fender... not professional at all.

EDIT: Now a week later I see oil spot in my driveway under my truck, when I looked under the truck I found the old oil filter wedged between some parts of the truck leaking oil everywhere.

My wife and I were excited to purchase our first new car and went to Jake Sweeney. We had a pleasant buying experience with Ron and left that day (8/25) with a new 2020 Ram Bighorn 1500. The next day (8/26), we noticed a sizable leak stain on our driveway (approximately 2 feet in diameter) and were instantly concerned. I called the dealership right away and spoke with Ron again, explaining the situation and leak and he explained that it was probably nothing (and maybe just the AC). This evening (8/27), imagine my surprise when my brand new truck (~50 miles on it) stalled out and would not start back up in the middle of a busy road. I called Jake Sweeney Dodge/Ram/Jeep right away to explain my frustration and the situation. While calling Jake Sweeny I was shuffled from department to department until someone finally set me up with roadside service and got the truck towed to the dealership. When I arrived at the dealership I spoke with the sales manager, Chris Simon. Admittedly and rightfully so, I was upset but did my best to remain calm. Chris immediately became defensive and explained that there was nothing they could do and that we were stuck with the

service department repairs. They set me up with a loaner vehicle which he VERY clearly explained he didn t have to do and threatened that he could just take the loaner back and didn t have to give it to me. After an already incredibly frustrating day, I now had to deal with an unprofessional sales manager, which was more than enough to set off any modern day karen . I attempted to explain that it was apparent that the inspection was not done properly (a major leak within 24 hours of purchase is not something that should be missed), but he disregarded any notion that they may have made a mistake during the inspection of the truck -- he claimed there was nothing he was willing to do for me. What kind of customer service is that?! He attempted to explain himself by saying: What happens when you buy something from amazon that is broken? ...I paused for a moment before saying well you can return it for a replacement or refund . ...I want to make it clear that I know mistakes happen -- I work in sales -- I was not trying to get cash off the truck or anything of that nature, but a simple gesture of a few car washes or oil change would have made a substantial difference. It was obvious that the sales manager was only interested in the money and that because I signed the paperwork there was no going above and beyond. It s frustrating to have purchased something so very expensive to be treated like that..

Update: the next day I ended up talking to the owner Zack Sweeny who assured me that the situation would be righted. I mostLy dealt with Chris Engle Remi and Ron (the guy that sold me the truck). They We re super professional and made sure that everything would be taking care of. They were looking into getting me a extended warranty on my power train which I still haven t heard anything else on but I thought was a nice gesture for all the hassle.

Wow! Wish I could give more than five stars. My salesman Garrett Mofford was an absolute pleasure to do business with and made my experience great. The vehicle I was interested in was prepared and ready for me when I arrived, we were able to quickly negotiate a deal and I was all set. Myles Hales in financing got my paperwork done in a timely fashion and before I knew it I was heading down the road in my new vehicle. Couldn t have been better!

Garrett is definitely the person you should see for your car purchases! He is approachable & down to earth. He is attentive & listened to what I was looking/asking for in the purchase of my new Jeep.

I called at 11am on a Saturday morning to schedule a Monday morning appointment because my driver's side window dropped into the door frame. My attempt to keep the impending rain from getting in resulted in my door being locked, the window still down, me unable to open the driver's door and climbing over the console to exit my vehicle (lol). They were able to get my van in Saturday and had it fixed before the rain started.

Other than the payment issue, we love the van and our salesman did a great job getting us into our van.

Starting with even finding a car that I wanted in sales was a struggle, to actually getting a car and finding out two to three weeks later they didn't actually send a payout to my previous bank and I was not approved for a loan. Save yourself the stress and find another place to go.

We went in to purchase a Jeep Cherokee trail hawk and a Chrysler Pacifica van, we had done significant research into the best price you could get on these cars, Koons in Virginia had an advertised price and we had a written invoice from them for the cars we wanted to purchase. We thought they would match their price, we were wrong, the sales person called us liars and said Koons was lying and would never honor their prices. I won t waste my time buying another car at ANY of the Sweeney car dealerships. We will be making the drive to Virginia to purchase our cars. My suggestion to everyone reading this is to check Koons pricing and google Koons in Virginia. It may be an 8 hour drive one way, but you can save thousands of dollars.

We bought a 2015 Town and Country Van From Jake Sweeney a week and a half ago. The actual car buying experience was typical. However, I was disappointed that the brand new car we drove all the way from Dayton to see was filthy inside and out and that the new car was missing parts. The sales rep knew that afternoon that we were driving a long distance after work for that particular vehicle. In my opinion, he should have had the car cleaned and the first set of "numbers" crunched. Anyways, I digressed, we were assured numerous times that they would get us all taken care of with the missing parts (the entire inside back panel, including sun-shade was missing.) Now, a week and a half later and there has been very little communication from Jake Sweeney...unless it is us initiating the conversation. The day after we bought the van, our sales agent said he would check with service and give us a timeline. Nine days later, we are having to call him back....and what does he tell us when we request a timeline? We are told that he has to check with service to get the part! Well, what the heck have you been doing for the last 9 days?!?!? Not impressed with customer service. I would not recommend anyone buy anything that required follow up work. The pricing was good...just make sure that everything is complete before you drive off the lot. Seems as if they forget all about you once they have your money!

I dealt with Tina Burnett. She helped me get in to a 2015 jeep Cherokee which has been my dream car for years. They paid off my other loan I owed on the old car so I could get the new one. It's a lower interest rate and full time warranty with the car. Could not have asked for a better experience. It was honestly the best experience I've had at a car dealership.
