I put the parts in shopping basket 2 of the 3 parts were back ordered. So I called them and talked to sales person who looked up the 2 parts in question he told me they had 6 in stock. Well that was bs it has been a week now finally got a tracking response ,those parts in question were back ordered they don't expect the parts for another week. sales person lied to Me to get my order

STAY AWAY - Wow what a trial with this company. I ordered 3 tiny gaskets and a muffler for a small snowblower from them (online), there was no sign of them after a week (they swear they ship in 2-4 days), so I sent an email asking about it and received no reply. Online "check your order" page said two of the gaskets were on backorder, but to email if you wanted in stock items to ship separately - so I did, no replies, no items, after another week. Finally called customer service and waited 20 minutes to get a hold of a real person who was very helpful and suggested changing the two back-ordered gaskets to a different (and more expensive) brand to get the package sent. I agreed and waited another week, no package. Finally got the order middle of the fourth week - the two gaskets I agreed to change to were wrong for my engine, the one that did match was severed in half (with half missing) by a bag sealer. Muffler was fine. But still no gaskets I can use. After a month! Called customer service again, got another seemingly helpful and apologetic person who offered to replace the gaskets free of charge - I asked if I needed to return the ones I had and they assured me I did not. This time the package got here in 3 days but was a huge box for 3 tiny flat gaskets... aaand... low and behold there are only two gaskets and a bunch of paper and a bill for another $14+ !! Checked my credit card and sure enough I have a charge for the two gaskets plus nearly $8 shipping for something that would fit in an envelope with a piece of cardboard and mail for less than a dollar.. Supposedly they are sending me a refund for the wrong gaskets but I have yet to see it and I bet they don't refund any of the $15+ in shipping I've paid so far! Then I get to looking at the gaskets and one of them is mislabelled and still wrong for my engine! GEEZ! I give up - I'll eat the cost and stay far, far away - I suggest others do the same.

Terrible Horrible company. Worse than partswarehouse avoid both companies at all costs. Especially customer service agent Jason L. Company shipped wrong part and refuses to pay RETURN shipping costs for exchange and or refund.

I feel they broke the pump on my power washer when they repaired the engine. I at this because they didn't run water through the pump as they were testing the engine after they repaired the carburetor. As a result the pump overheated and was ruined. They disclaimed all responsibility for the pump breaking using the excuse "well these things happen". I don't intend on ever going back there and will tell all my friends to not go there.

I placed an order for a trailer hitch for my zero turn mower. I received an email the day after the order was placed with an estimated shipping date. That date changed again to a later shipping date, and changed a few more times afterwards. When I called to cancel my order, I was told that the parts had just arrived and were now in stock. When I asked when would the parts ship, I was told it would be another 24-48 hrs. This is ridiculous, considering how long I waited for the parts to ship. Why not ship them immediately?? I decided to cancel the order on principle.

Came here to write a bad review and am now seeing all the others who have had the same experience. Ordered a part. No indication that it wasn't in stock. It then showed up on their order tracking as "in stock in 2-10 days". That was ok. Then I checked again over 10 days later. "Extended delay from manufacturer". I emailed over 24 hours ago, no response. I'm trying to cancel the order, but can't get a response or get through on the phone. Stay away from this place. Might have to dispute the charge on my credit card. What a waste of my time.

Bought a large quantity of parts here for an engine rebuild. Most of the parts were nice, but the new pushrods arrived so bent crooked that they were totally useless; I had to reuse the old ones!!! This is totally uncalled for with a business like this! The website is great, the shipping is quick, and the parts are packaged well, though.

Jack's is my go-to people for all my small engine and outdoor equipment needs. More often than not it is in stock, shipping is lightening quick and items are safely packed to protect from damage. If back-ordered the waits are usually short. With Jack's you can never go wrong and items are priced about as reasonably as you can find.

Ordered several parts online from them to repair my mower for mid spring mowing. Over a week later and my order still hasn't shipped. I was told that they didn't have a bolt, 1 bolt, in stock that they had to get from the manufacturer. They would not ship my order until complete. I am a Buyer for a manufacturer and have never had a company not ship partial if needed and back order the rest. I could've gotten a temporary bolt to get my by until the proper one came in. I was never notified when I place my order that this part was not in stock either. I will never order from them again.

I like that they keep you posted if your order requires a back order and they ship it when it all comes in. Other vendors nickel and dime you to death on shipping. Jack s never does. The few times I have called customer service they are always helpful and friendly.

I ordered two parts from the website because of the websites bragging about how quick they can get it to me. It's 23 days out from ordering and it's still not here. When I paid for it online it never said out of stock. But once I paid i got an email that it was not in stock and had to be ordered from the Ego that make that mower. So instead of just ordering it from Ego and having them send the part right to me. Jacks chose to have the company send it to them and then send it to me! !

Unfortunately you can't post with 0 stars so I had to give 1 even though they don't disserve it. I am reading some of the other reviews and seeing a common problem here. They said that my specific part I needed is in stock, then I would receive another email days later stating that is wasn't in stock and they had to order it from the vendor. If I knew that was the case I never would have ordered it. The order I placed has now been waiting 2 months from the original purchase date. They had no trouble charging my credit card immediately though. DO NOT BUY FROM JACKS SMALL ENGINES. I have emailed them and called them with no reply. They do not even answer their phone. I want my money back and will go somewhere else. If I continue to get no response I will be driving the 2 hours to the store and it won't be pleasant. I am out of patience.

Everything and it's smallest piece. I needed a replacement for my lawn mower and couldn't get it. The shipping price was heftier than the price of the piece. I went in ordered the piece and picked it after a couple business days.

I went to their store Monday to place an order for a set of 3 mower blades. They took the order and told me that someone will call me tomorrow to confirm the pickup. They called me two days later, so I went back to the store for pickup (15 miles one way for me). I checked and they order wrong blade 16.5" instead of 18" for my 52" deck. If I did not notice they would have given me wrong product. So they reordered them on the spot and assured that they will ship that day and be delivered next day. So I called at 3:30Pm to their warehouse since the blades did not arrived. They told me that the blades will ship in next 48 hours!!! What a incompetent bunch of people - one after another. Or maybe they just B.S. customers to get any business. I cancelled the order and got it off Amazon. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME with Jack's Small Enginee, one cannot count on them!!!

Ordered parts from Jack's, because they had them in stock. The parts were for a Dolmar 109 chainsaw, which is now owned by Makita. The parts were easy to find and order, the pictures of the parts are very helpful. I am happy with the service and they saved me a few dollars. Parts cost in Australia were Au$44 each. Thank you for the parts excellent job.

Save your money, save your time, look elsewhere. Takes orders for parts they don't have, takes your money and never informs you it's a back-order and may take weeks to get. Shipping takes forever and the company doesn't respond to emails after I sent 2 emails. I paid in full online with my debit card and afterwards I received a message stating I would be updated when the part is shipped. I placed an order for 1 part that was "in stock" on 4/21/2017. My shipping date has been pushed back 4 times now when looking it up on their website. Today I called to check on my order. I was on hold for 15 minutes! I was told that the part I ordered won't actually get to them until June 1st from the manufacturer and that the website is an automated system and just pushes the shipping date back when the part doesn't arrive and that it doesn't know when the part is suppose to arrive. I'd give them no stars if it was possible. I will never buy from them again..

Jack's Small Engine company sent me the wrong parts. The part numbers that they send me doesn't match the parts I requested. Because of their return policy, it costs more to return the product to get a refund than the product is worth. Jack's Small Engine company refuse to give me a shipping label to return their products. Therefore it is not cost-effective to return the product and get a refund even if it is their mistake. I asked jack's Small Engine companies to refund all my monies or give me a shipping label to return this product at an effective cost. They refuse. Do not buy anything from this company.

Trued dealing with them last January looking for parts to replace on my lawnmower. I ordered the part that I thought we needed it arrived and did not work. I process a return and I believe that one was wrong as well. They tried to keep replacing . Never would offer to refund my money . Never dud get my money back. Got busy doing other things and forgot. Well they Jack's small engines just decided to keep my money. Well I reached out to them today and they said they don't offer refunds on purchases over a year old.

Oh and we are not talking about 20 or 30 dollars either. So to me this company just decided they would keep or should I say steal my mobey. Becyase they got all thier merchandise back.

I will be taking other steps to get my complete refund. It was not thier money to keep. They should have done the right thing and just processed my refund.

I sent 3 emails over the course of 8 days with photos and details of my issue, and have still not heard anything back. I have waited on hold for over 40min and no one picks up. I have sent email requesting a return label and my money back. Not even sure I will hear back...

Jack's Small Engine has some of the quickest customer service I have ever dealt with. I had an issue with placing an order, and within 3 minutes on the phone, everything was resolved. The representative was both helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend Jack's Small Engine for any part purchase.

I purchased a part from this company online for my work and the part was incorrect, I called them at least a half dozen times and email at least 5 times (they advertise both online and while you sit on hold that they respond within 48 hours which is bull), with NO response. I called the "local store" only to be told that there was nothing they could for me and that when you call the online order service you have to sit on hold for 40 MINUTES TO AN HOUR!!!

Ordered a Briggs & Stratton starter based on the price, it being in stock, and the fast shipping claim as I have a machine down. I was not offered any expedited shipping options. Granted Friday afternoon is not the best time to order but I was counting on the "fast shipping" claim. The tracking said for the first 4 days the order had gone to the warehouse. In February 2014 I purchased a Husqvarna 450 20 inch 50.2cc Chainsaw from Jack's.... they had a real good sale going on.

Shipping was fairly quick and the chainsaw arrived in absolutely brand new condition. As advertised, after following instructions on first start and break-in, it started on the first pull and continues to start on first pull. First chainsaw I have had that continues to do so.

The chain arrived sharp but I ran a sharpener through it for fun. It took down the trees we were working on with ease, and the saw seems nicely balanced in hand.

Three years later and it is still going strong. Really like my purchase form Jack's. Liked the price, quick service and even a follow-up customer service survey that they sent about 2 months later.

Would definitely buy from jack's again.

Today, January 14, 2020 makes the second time I have visited this location. In my search for a Husqvarna lawn mower, I walked around to look at the mowers and even the generators with no assistance. I felt invisible even though the female, at the counter, was looking at me as she chatted loudly with another person. Another employee came from the back and walked right past me, as if I did not exist. I was not even deserving of a hello. I love supporting small businesses because of personal interaction and amazing customer service but I was made to feel as if my business was not welcomed.
