High quality baked goods. This place has a great variety of bagels and flavors of cream cheese. They also make excellent soups and sandwiches. Be forewarned that it can be very busy during breakfast and lunch rush times. They have an online order system that can help you avoid a wait.

If you pass through Ithaca you have to eat at Ithaca Bakery. Counter service, Coffee, Brunch, Lunch, and sandwiches. The sandwiches are the best sandwiches you'll ever have.
Very nice place to stop by for a bite to eat when I was in the area. The tiramisu was especially tasty. The Tex mex breakfast sandwich was good, but would ve been phenomenal had it been made with better scrambled eggs, instead of the rubbery, mix eggs that I assume were used. overall worth stopping at.
The bagels and sandwiches are good. We visited early morning on a Sunday and it seemed it was the only bakery open, as it was crowded, long lines to order and they messed up with my coffee order. I thin it was because they were really busy at the time. Overall it's a good place.
Really nice bakery with more than baked goods. They have great coffee selection and sandwiche selections. Staff members are friendly, prices are good and quality is excellent.
The iced tea and CGBLT were great, very happy with lunch and the service at the mall location. I got two desserts to go. The cannoli was just OK. The individual vanilla cheesecake was not so good. The topping that looked like whipped cream was hard like butter in the fridge and the cheesecake didn't have the right consistency or taste.
Good choices, worth stopping but need to wait on people standing at counter. We were ignored, the people ahead of us waited a long time for their drinks after getting other food. Need better customer service, but good food.
Spectacular food with a vast array of breakfast and lunch choices. Quite busy at lunch on a sunny Saturday in May, so we waited a long time for sandwiches and seats were tough to find. Overall a good experience.
This is the 3rd time I've gotten half a dozen bagels from them. First they are over priced for what they are and secound again for the 3rd time they are moldy after 1 day.. either they are selling old product or there is a serious issue with cleanliness.
In town visiting a friend for the week. Had the salad bar, coffee and a sandwich Tina's Best. The sandwich portion was decent for the price. The salad bar has hot and cold items, then weighed and a good value. The staff is friendly and very helpful with the large menu. The food is good, there is something for everyone here. I will have to come back and actually try something from the bakery.
A top notch bakery and deli with a wide selection of sandwiches, homemade soups, and of course- fabulous desserts! Enjoyed the best cuban sandwich I've ever had. The pork was succulent and juicy which complimented the dijon, ham, pickles, cheese and crispy bread. For dessert, my smile beamed as we walked away with a delicious black forest torte cake. A must visit place in Ithaca :)
Great people and atmosphere. Quite busy at times, but the food is always fresh and they use local ingredients. Food is made in a timely manner, and I've never been disappointed. The beverages are great and their homemade fresh breads are delicious. Definitely recommend for someone who is new to ithaca.
Great me to order sandwiches and salad, really good homemade soup. Lots of vegan offers oh, I also have a lot of food allergies and they have a great selection of food that doesn't include ingredients that I would be allergic to. Nice place to sit and talk and chat as well if you happen to be in the area and have other business make sure you stop and spend some time here just to relax.
IB has always had great baked goods (bagels!), interesting sandwiches and good coffee. The hot/cold buffet is a wee bit pricey but good with a decent balance of dietary considerations. A minor setback in the past would be what one may call "Ithacatude", a homespun version of the classic big fish/little pond syndrome evident in some of the service on occasion. I'm happy to say that no longer seems to be the case. I'm not a frequent visitor but the past several times the service has been pleasantly good. Just one person's opinion.
Use to love Ithaca Bakery but their service and food have really slipped. The Brooklyn Bagel had 2 tiny pieces of bacon on it, was served cold, and took 30 minutes to get to me. Two people with me had the same experience. Y'all, what's going on. Sad!
Visited Ithaca bakery twice Both times included a long, slow moving line, to eventually be welcomed by cashiers navigating an apparently cumbersome computer system. I wouldn t say they re slow, but there are some obvious efficiency issues up front. Maybe you don t need 1,000 menu items? The subsequent wait was 15 minutes, and I had to wonder if my food was ever coming. I ordered 2 wraps, both of which were served in a pool of their own juices. Soggy. I haven t had boxed eggs in years! On my second visit the hot coffee tasted burnt.
Would recommend working on the basics. Or maybe I should ve ordered the peanut butter cup frozen espresso?
One of the nicest places for a quick sandwich in Ithaca. Custom beverages, customs sandwiches, tailored to nearly every dietary need. Highly recommended!
Not the most cost-effective option, but good made to order food that usually isn't a disappointment! Service is great, with food being brought to your table and ordering lines aren't slow!
If you like yummy stuff, friendly people and plenty of options this is the place for you. The flavorful foods and fresh coffee are well worth the visit.
Nice salad bar and baked items. Of course all kinds of sweet treats , hot sauces, dining area, bathroom. If your hungry you'll find something good to eat.
I love this place but got a medium vanilla latte when she handed it to me it felt not full so I checked it and it was all foam and it didn't taste good so I took it back and they had someone new making coffee which I was surprised that this person hadn't been trained well enough before she was put there. They made me a new one so much better.
Encellent place for a quick bite. They have two locations in town. I usually go to the one located on the Triphammer Mall. I recommend the smoked salmon with sliced tomatoes, capers, and everything they reccomend on it, on wheat bread. It is very satisfying, and taste great. It is big enough to be shared by two people. They split the sandwich in half if you ask.
Plenty of thigh thickening goodness can be found here! MY wife enjoyed a great tasting sandwhich and I had a bagel with cream chesse and lox. It was a huge portion of food.
Dynamite sandwiches. Gluten free bread available. Delicious breads, bagels, pastries, and salads as well. I love how they call your name (instead of an order number) when your food is ready. I highly recommend the Ithaca Bakery and will be returning to it myself!
Come in for brunch while visiting our son at Cornell, delicious breakfast sandwich even for my husband who doesn t like breakfast, super friendly staffs. Must go place if you re in Ithaca.
I went here with my sister. Tea I ordered was nice but cashier was but snappy, so was a woman making my sister coffee. I don't know if it was because it was an hour before closing and everyone was on their last leg but it wasn't pleasant. I usually don't have this bad of experience during lunch on weekday.
Seems overrated. My sandwich was very disappointing. Missing ingredients it was supposed to have. Maybe other items are better. I'll never know because I'm not going back.
It's very much a touristy kind of place. Food is mediocre. Their bakery products are hit or miss. The cakes may look nice but they are not very good. I've tried them a few times for events at work and every cake was dry and stale. I'm not sure how long they keep those baked goods out there, but it's too long! I was once a regular customer for a quick coffee in the morning or sandwich to go at lunchtime. But I've stopped going as they keep raising their prices. It just isn't worth my money.
