I visited here from Rochester this past weekend. Lovely bakery. LOVED the maple bacon scone. Huge and flavorful. Cupcake was super moist. Bacon horseradish cream cheese was the perfect topping for the cheddar bagels. My only "complaint" is the bagels were a little dry for my taste, but are still good.

We chose Ithaca Bakery to cater our event; we received appetizers, pork loin & mushroom lasagna, and a wide arrangement of desert bars, cookies, & cupcakes. Everything was so incredibly delicious! Staff are very friendly and communicated with us well. Thank you!

At first I was positive that I was in Ithaca...then you folks convinced me I died and went straight to corn chowder heaven!! The nice gentleman that assisted me at the counter helped to point me in the direction of the spoons, which was a key component to my chowder experience. A+ folks

Good food, with some items really good. They could give some Greek restaurants lessons in spanakopita, for example. Usually quite busy, always a good sign for a food place. The only thing is that everything a la carte can get pricey, but otherwise good reliable food and nice place to meet up with people.

A wide variety of specialty sandwiches and lots of other culinary delights, including the best bagels north of the Big Apple. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but worth the effort. Plus, live music - Ithaca Bakery is a highly laudable sponsor of the local music community.

Everything was amazing. The inside of the bakery, the process of ordering, the sandwiches, the soups, and the atmosphere. Will definitely make a point to come here again if I'm visiting the area.

This place is more than just a bakery. It's coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We found plenty of veggie options for us and it's kid friendly! Our daughter was able to play with a puzzle near the back of the restaurant. Also, great baked goods.

We had fantastic sandwiches. One was hummus and the othe swiss cheese and and tomatoes. The real story was the delicious breads on which they were both served. The pastries were equally fabulous.

When I went there, I had ordered the Cuban panini and a hazelnut coffee. I must say, the were both amazing. Some of my other friends had ordered sandwiches too which were all really good. Along with that, they'd ordered smoothies. I tried all the smoothies but didn't really like them much. I found them slightly watery, but if that's what you like then you may go ahead and order them.

This place should be called Ithaca Fakery. Not only do they not cook fresh eggs, they come premixed in a carton, the owners and their idiot sons are arrogant who treat their staff terribly. Bad pay, terrible benefits etc. They make out they are all healthy and fresh etc, and the stupid people of Ithaca fall for every bite of this fake place. Spend your money somewhere else and support a business that treats their employees with a bit of respect. A terrible business run by terrible people.

Very great place. Very nice and kind people and a lot of good food. My personal favorite is the carrot cake bar. Really good! There are not that many places so during brunch/lunch hours it can be a bit hard to find a good seat. But again, the food is amazing. Go there. You wont regret!

Food is fantastic!! However, service can be very slow, and can have repeated mistakes. I keep coming back because, when they get it right, my food is delicious! However, they regularly screw up my sandwich, which can be frustrating, as a sandwich, coffee, and a treat can run $20 per time, which I am happy to spend when it is right. To be clear, I am only asking to have my sandwich on toasted bread, but sometimes they give me a bagel instead of brea, sometimes they leave off the sauce, sometimes they don't toast the bread, it is just a regular occurrence. It is more often that my food is made incorrectly than that it is correct.

Here's another place in a town that is too full of liberals and hippies for me but they have really good food. The prices are a little high though so expect that but it's worth it I think because the food is excellent. Just ordered a custom-designed cake from their pastry chef Carly. I got it on time, it was way past my expectations of how good it was going to be, absolutely delicious, enjoyed by all, highly recommend their cakes

Great bakery-plus, with lots of very interesting cakes and patisserie items, plus a wide selection of imaginative soups, salads and sandwiches, and some nice hot entrees. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Sit-in cafe space has a very pleasant ambience. LGBTQ-friendly place, also!

The only way to review this place is to break it into categories. Food, coffee/drinks, and pastries.

The sandwiches are good and what I would recommend. What really makes Ithaca Bakery shine is it's bread and bagels. This is the corner Stone of their business and how they started.

The coffee is so so and I wish the Baristas were trained better. The drinks we're totally not consistent depending on who made them for you. So, I would recommend going to Gimme for your coffee and drinks.

The pastries are hit or miss. There are hand full of products that are made from scratch and these are the ones you want to eat up. The key lime bar and the lemon bars are amazing. The best cake you can have here is the vegan chocolate cake. I would probably Skip any of the other cakes. The scones are also fantastic and the cheddar chive biscuits are out of this world when fresh or microwaved.

I would say give it a shot. It is definitely a mixed reviewed place for many reasons. If anything, get your bread and bagels from here.

Well, when you order three sandwiches to go at 7:30 in the morning, and you go to eat them 250 miles down the highway at lunchtime, and there's only 2 friggin' sandwiches, you get a one star review! Moral of this story is a. check your order before you leave and b. ALWAYS get the damn receipt. Idiots...
