ITC Sonar, The Luxury Collections Reviews

Hospitality and service was not alligned with the brand name ITC. We ordered from live counter and most of the dishes were not there and the dishes we got took so much time. Main course items once finished takes a lot time to be refilled. All over the experience was not much satisfactory.

Luxurious and grand old palace like ambience. Nice food.

Beautiful infrastructure, soothing environment all over nice hotel.

The staff looking after us were special. They made sure that all our requests were fulfilled.
They were so warm and kind that we were made to feel extremely comfortable- almost like home.
We loved it and can t thank them enough.

Wonderful location, near airport and easy communication to the city. Good interior decoration, obviously,. Other amenities available. Food quality is good. Yes , it's a luxurious hotel so prices.

The location is close to many tourist spots. The hotel itself is pretty good and they are currently expanding into a huge building right next door. The service at the restaurant is a little hit or miss, but acceptable.

Stayed for three days, one of the best hotel experience, the ambiance, staff, food was all 5 star worthy. It lives up to the brand of ITC hotels.

ITC Sonar is located just opposite of Science City at JBS Halden Avenue. It is Kolkata's most reputed 5 star luxurious hotel. The place is pretty spectacular. The restaurants and bars are phenomenal, hospitality at its best. The hotel offers a wide variety of foods and big banquets. This hotel has vast stretches of water bodies within its design. The instays, rooms, spas and cafeterias are mind-blowing. The staffs are professionally excellent, well groomed and we'll behaved.

Fantastic hotel in Kolkata about 40mins from airport. Hotel has beautiful ambience. Rooms are spacious and have all basic amenities. Rooms have good views. It has 4 restaurants. Internally connected with ITC Royal Bengal hotel. One point deducted because of Food and staff courtesy. Breakfast options are good however interested in only serving foreigners. In room dining is extremely expensive and not worth the money paid. Ordered Chicken Biryani, taste was OK but charged INR 2000/- for one portion.

Considering that it's one of the better known restaurant of a well known five star hotel chain, prices are reasonable. However, compared to other high end five stars, it's average.

Peshawri at ITC Sonar Bangla was a fantabulous experience. The service was one of the best and staff was very very experienced and one of the best that I have seen. Taste and ambience was also one of the best. A must go for the mughlai lovers. Santanu at Peshawri was very very professional and helpful.

Serve a good quality of food BT nt as a five star property should do ....
