Is one of my favorites places until now, incredible view, and the architecture of the bridge is amazing!!

Lots of fun! Very windy so make sure you have a jacket. And also its very loud so you will have to yell at each other to be heard. Kid friendly and a wonderful view. Parking is free after 5 down by the old military fort. a little walk but worth not having to spend money.

The view of the Golden Gate Bridge is unmissable in the sunset!

Well they wouldn't let me walk the cables to the top but a beautiful view.

People from all over the world come to see a bridge a BRIDGE people have mad money to do that. You could have tried Hawaii, Tokyo but you go to California to see a BRIDGE.

Amazing, rent a bike and go all the way thru to the summit. Great sight.

Such a beautiful place to visit. Amazing people and so much history to see. Highly recommend and take the hike to the left of the bridge. The view is spectacular

The must go place for any San Francisco tourist. Is such a great bridge with it's own history and monument of San Francisco. The walk thought the bridge can be a little bit long for some but their is always the bike option that is much more convenient for some. I recommend going to the golden gate bridge during the sunset because of the views at that time.

The view is iconic and many a times I have visited this place but never been tired. It is best to see visit at night time as the bridge is lit with innumerable number of light which makes the bridge more attractive.

We visited the Golden gate Bridge with a hop on hop off bus. The view was amazing! We liked it a lot!

It was a beautiful site, my Lyft bike shut off on me right be4 I was about to cross so I had to walk the bridge.

We biked over with Blazing Saddles rentals on Friday afternoon. For whatever reason, only the northbound side of the bridge was open to bikes or pedestrians, so it was very crowded and the biking was very slow going. Still a great trip with great views of the city and the Bay.

Yes. Great views from different vantage areas. Walk over and under the bridge or the whole length. Very informative exhibit in the garden and store.

It's a fun experience and it's definitely a must to walk on it. Don't plan to have a good hair day if you decide to go there, it's quiet windy.

What's not to love about the bridge..maybe the traffic or the toll increases..Overall a beautiful bridge that you can drive, bike, or walk through. Enjoy it on a nice sunny day before Karl covers it up.

It's really cool. There's models of the bridge around the place and there's a bikelane.the only off side is to drive on it it's a toll way charged on the way out but not In

It's not just the views there is so much to do! Perfect for picnics and the aquarium is amazing.

The Bridge is as amazing as seen in the movies, best seen when taking a "Golden gate bridge boat tour". truly amazing!! Looking forward to wak across the bridge the next time I visit San Francisco.

Unbelievable. You can see all the photos on the Internet, but nothing will beat seeing it with your own eyes, perhaps also riding across it through the misty fog. Truly spectacular and rightfully a famous landmark of this city.

the golden gate bridge is one of the must see places if you are ever going to go the San Francisco. driving on it is very scary, but an amazing experience if you look at the overhead view. me and my Family were in a shuttle bus driving on the bridge with a tour guide, and it was an overall fantastic experience. and the best part is the tunnel that you go through after the bridge. it is very long.

You have the best view of the bridge from Fort Point. Spectacular. I really enjoy seeing everything so perfect

The Golden Gate Bridge was amazing!! The family and I had a great time! The directions on getting there was simple and easy and helped us get there on time avoiding traffic!

The bridge is, of course, fantastic to see, touch, and learn the history of. Be sure to bring some food and drink as the pickings around the bridge are not very good. Walking across the bridge is worth doing for the various views, but the traffic makes a horrendous noise, so don't expect a moment of zen. Watching a large cruise ship or cargo ship pass under the bridge is especially awesome.

World famous iconic structure Golden Gate Bridge! What a lovely place it is!! Mesmerized by the view.

This is a must-see when visiting the Bay Area. Truly an incredible and elegant engineering marvel. We loved walking the bridge and reading the historical information near the visitor center.

Definitely a nice and historic place to visit. Lovely view. Keep enough time in hand to slow down , deep breath and take everything in. Interesting place to cycle. Can be tiring with small kids. Long walks

Absolutely an amazing experience that all visitors to the area should have. If you stay long enough you can see the fog completely cover the bridge. The high winds can be a bit scary but still a good experience.

Besides having a breathtaking view, it would be fantastic to end my life there

Beautiful sunset from ferry. Biked with family through Golden Gate bridge and took ferry back. Rented a tandem bike. Wonderful day!

Very beautifully constructed bridge. If you are in San Francisco, you have to visit the bridge. It is cloudy in mornings but usually gets clear by afternoon. It is very windy and slightly cold on the bridge so make sure if you plan to walk the bridge you have a jacket.

Reminds me of Miami FL, or Houston, TX, people there drive so aggressively, I guess they all rush for gold

The recreation area is just so easy to get to, and so beautiful. It's right off the 101 and there is always parking available if you get there early. Bathrooms could use some attention, but really, it's a public place, so plan accordingly.

It's "that" bridge. Big and impressive. That said, there's many other things in the area that are more worth the time.

This bridge is red. It spans from one landmass to another landmass.
People walk across it, but you can also drive a car and ride a bike. Driving a car is the fastest, walking is the slowest.
If you are looking to get photos on the bridge, you should either ride or walk. Stopping your car in the middle to get photos is not advised.

bring a jacket and plenty of patience. parking very limited south end of brdg. just make the beautiful drive over to vista point on the north end. much better photo ops.

I have always been drawn to this incredible feat of civil engineering and construction. An awesome display and iconic landmark for the entire world to marvel. Having some of the most beautiful landscape on the west coast is an added bonus for the photography enthusiast. Enjoy.

Sooooo nice! Go to the rest area up north and you will have a wonderfull view of the bridge and of San Francisco. At night it's a big wow!!

beautiful!! if you are in san francisco, this is definitely an iconic must-see! it s absolutely mesmerizing and breathtaking. it is fun to walk and drive on and you can see the pretty ocean and a nice view of alcatraz

Even though i grew up in the Bay Area i will always love coming back to the bridge. It is one of the icons of America and rightfully so. It is just an amazing experience to walk it or just to drive over it. And it doesn't matter if you are on the North or South side it is always a great place to take pictures and explore.

This is e definite must see. The only thing I recommend is bring a jacket. It is cold here.

This is a landmark place in San Francisco. All tourists tend to get here. You can take a lot of awesome pictures. Great places for walking around and many breathtaking views. The bay is always windy. #LetsGuide #selfiespot

I got really lucky with the parking here. If you live in SF you can also get here by bus which is the mode of transportation I took the first time I came to visit the Golden Gate Bridge.

Once you're here theres a nice place to eat and a nice gift shop. Walking on the Golden Gate Bridge is really easy, no paying or anything like that to walk the bridge.

It's super windy though so bring some sort of windbreaker and don't plan on expecting your hair to be the way it was before you trekked on the bridge.

Be warned there is a $7 toll to cross the bridge ea. way (no stopping/pay by plate our pass). We also walked it. Parking to do this was SO affordable at 25 cents for every 15 minutes (45 minutes was enough for walking to the middle and stopping for lots of pictures before, after and during, lol). This iconic bridge is such a stapler of San Francisco. You can walk, run, it bike it (free).

This is great and wonderful place in San Francisco having awesome view from both sides. Very Good trip to San Francisco...

Good plan, but on road no has option to get water or some snack on route, on part of the way of ride share the street with cars, so it needs be careful

It's beautiful, enough said. Windy though so dress warm! Saw a small pod of juvenile dolphins hunting under the bridge!

You've seen in in photos, but you must experience all aspects of this modern day wonder. I've walked, biked and driven across the bridge and it does not disappoint. From the micro climates experienced while walking it and feeling the movement through the car tires - it is a surreal experience. I've been lucky enough to visit this beauty from the bottom looking up to the West entrance via the Coastal walkway. It is visually stimulating and pleasing as one looks at it from one of the sky high bar's in downtown SF. Do not miss it !

The Golden Gate bridge is absolutely stunning! You can see Alcatraz and the Oakland bridge and of course the skyline of San Francisco.
