Golden Gate has always been my dream and I was able to go there finally!!

Had a bicycle ride from Pier 1 to the Golden Gate Bridge and then to Sausalito and taking the ferry back to the Piers. It was a wonderful experience. Lovely view from the bridge and I was not able to believe that I would do it!

The bridge is awesome.. there's a separate late for the bicycle riders. You cannot stop wherever you want to on the bridge, you need to stop at the places that are made for you to stop.

What can one write about the absolute majesty of this bridge. It's a awesome experience, one to be savoured and enjoyed on a sunny afternoon. And if you have read Alistair McLean's 'Golden Gate', then you will immediately empathize with the bridge. Fabulous views of the Bay, the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz and the boats sailing underneath. It draws you again and again, whether it be walking, strolling or biking across this iconic structure.

Awesome, renowned bridged that you can walk or bike across, as well as drive, obviously. Walking across takes about 30 minutes if you don't stop to take too many photos. I certainly recommend going on a clear day, but I also recommend going on a foggy day, as well; there's something extra majestic about it when it's foggy and you can't see the far pillar, let alone the other side.

What can you say about the Golden Gate Bridge. It's more than just a San Francisco bridge, it's an icon and a landmark. And by the way, it's not Golden colored to the eye, just in everyone's hearts.

Such an amazing feat!

Such an amazing feat!
Had a great time getting terrific views of this wonderful bridge. There is an excellent stop before the bridge to get a good view of it. Then, driving across it was a treat.
Then we hit the beach on the other side for yet another spectacular view.

One of many wonderful San Francisco's experiences. Just got my 8dll toll fee bill in the mail. Which is totally worth. Didn't walk across the bridge, I was wearing a dress and was 59 degrees.

Traffic really wasn t that bad when we visited (Memorial Day weekend). It was pretty amazing to drive over the iconic bridge several times during our stay in SF. Be advised that there is a toll when coming back into the city. Overall pretty cool experience!

The iconic bridge is a magnificent sight on a clear day. With options to drive, walk or cycle across it, it can be a challenge to find parking to do any of that but drive across. If you are looking for a decent angle to take a photo of the bridge, it can be a pain to navigate the area to find that shot. Either way, worth driving in or out of San Francisco via the Golden Gate so you can say you ve been there, and take some snaps along the way.

The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the architectural tourist spots that I always recommend to my friends whenever they visit me. Amazing how it was built high above the water in the middle of 2 mountains, it is such a beautiful view specially during the golden hour of the day where the color of the bridge becomes the highlight of the place and reflects to the water.

Fabulous and beautiful. It is a real masterpiece of engineering for the time constructed. Location and the views both from and to the bridge are unforgettable.
Famous and hundred percent worth it's glory.
Heavy traffic and a lot of pedestrian visitors. Scenery around multiplies the effect.

The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the one-mile-wide (1.6 km) strait connecting San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The structure links the American city of San Francisco, California the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula to Marin County, carrying both U.S. Route 101 and California State Route 1 across the strait. The bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco, California, and the United States. It has been declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers.

The Frommer's travel guide describes the Golden Gate Bridge as "possibly the most beautiful, certainly the most photographed, bridge in the world."[8][9] At the time of its opening in 1937, it was both the longest and the tallest suspension bridge in the world, with a main span of 4,200 feet (1,280 m) and a total height of 746 feet (227 m). Today, the Golden Gate Bridge is neither the longest nor the tallest in the world, but remains the tallest bridge in the United States.

Amazing. A must see for any visitor in San Francisco. A walk across it is intense but gives amazing views of the bay and the city. Some days it s foggy and visibility isn t the best but if you can catch it on a clear day it is a treat.

The parking garage in the lower lot was pretty sketchy. We spoke to a police officer and were warned that there are many break ins in the area. Lock doors and take valuables with you
