Awesome place to visit as a tourist. Lots of history and it's a monstrosity! Great place to see an overview of San Francisco and take pictures.

One of the most beautiful bridges in the world!
Definitely a must visit, lots of different viewing points and photo points. Best to come at sunrise and have a chance to see bridge covered in fog.
Amazinf place in SF
Loved it!!!! The walk wasn't as intense as I thought it'd be. The walking pace worked out pretty good. Definetly worth walking to the other end for more exciting sight seeing.
A scenic park and a great place to walk/cycle across the bridge.
Beautiful and iconic place to visit when in San Francisco. We're just so glad to be lucky to visit this place. Compared to our tropical city in the Philippines, we really froze ourselves upon going here
This is a beautiful place to visit. I walked across from one end to the other. There are plaques along the way to read history and the views are indescribable.
Great place to hangout at and stay in. 10/10 would recommend
Expensive to drive across. View is okay. Much better to look at from a distance.
What a great bridge..!! One of the best around the world....that's why
Great place to visit. Fun to cross this bridge too!!
Beautiful bridge. Definitely a must-do for the bucket list.
Loved riding my bike through Golden Gate. Way worth it, than driving.
On the left side of the bridge is for bikes only and the right side is for walkers & scooters. Wear a windbreaker because it is gusty up there.
Took our Girl Scout troop. Rode 5he bus across. Walked back. The Sun, the wind. A beautiful day!
i'm falling so im taking my time on my ride woah oh oh hey hey
It is beautiful to walk across the bridge and also sail under it. I would do it again when I get a chance.
Fascinating bridge and literally took my breath away when I first saw it, one of the best bridges and landmarks that i have ever seen, cant wait to visit it again
My daughter insisted we go to the bridge and walk around. So much fun playing on the old gun batteries. Great place for pictures.
I Always love going to the bridge! I love how tall and Massive it is when you are looking up from the bottom area! I have walked on the bridge one time, a d that was just as Amazing! All of San Francisco is so amazing too!
Wonderful. Born and raised in the city of San Francisco.
Great experience of one of the famous tourist destination. The shops around it are great to visit. The bay area side has a better look.
One of the most important visitors point in San Francisco walking driving biking every day is a deferent view
Crossed the bridge on bicycle, that was cool, man this bridge is high!
Due to the wind you don't feel the sun burning in San Francisco, but watch out you get sunburned easy, use sunscreen!
It's not only scenic but you really need to walk, jog or bike across for the full experience. With all the bike rentals by the wharf it's easy to get a bike and ride across the bridge and back. My favorite ride is down into Sausalito and then you can take the ferry back with your bike.
Pictures do not do justice! My experience there was amazing and will return! Definitely recommend visiting!!!
Loved walking across the bridge! I will do this again, the next time I am in San Francisci
Battery Spencer on the Saucalito side is THE BEST view of not only the Golden Gate bridge but the entire, panoramic view of the harbour. Don't miss it!
Rode across on my bike. Really cool experience. But there's lots of bike traffic and very different ability levels.
Wonderful place to visit. Fantastic views. Can be cold.
Absolutely beautiful Bridge limited parking for viewing great if you can take public transportation there is more parking around the hill up to the side to your right going to visit Golden Gate Bridge welcome to the Bay Area
Great place to walk. But they have to do better with the protection of people & suicide rates.
I finally achieved my bucket list goal of walking across the Bridge, and while we were crossing, we were lucky to see not only the Bay's sea lions at play but a small pod of whales feeding in the Bay!
Amazing architecture, perfect climate..I reached to another side by Cab and back by walk in late evening..it was very excited and unforgettable experience..
Kept me out of the water the entire time I was on it, which is probably the most important function of a bridge. It also has one end in Marin and another in San Francisco, which is super convenient if you're traveling between the two.
Definitely put this on your SF to do list. If you're fit this is a great bike/hike and you can ferry back from Sausalito.
The kind of magic that takes your breath away...especially in the Fall.
Wonderful place, I always want to go back. Don t forget to sit at the beach and watch the bridge from there.
Pretty fun would try to throw myself off there again. Definitely going come back before the nets are installed.
It was more interesting than I thought.
You all should see that.
The best part of my trip was cycling over golden gate bridge. What an amazing construction . This is the 10th time i have been here in last 3 years and I absolutely love this place. Come over weekdays early morning to avoid heavy traffic and crowd of weekends.
Although it was cold, I dont regret making the trip to see such an iconic bridge
From afar its beautiful but up close up its disgustingly filthy. While standing on the bridge facing east you can see how disgusting the bay area look as well. But facing west is a beautiful over view of the ocean.
Great experience but the bicyclist need to realize pedestrians have the right of way , saw one almost push a little girl down ,not cool but otherwise awesome
Great hike. Clean fresh air. An excellent break from the city.
A great place to visit apart from the cold wind off the Pacific
This place we all know. But if you ever get a chance, really go to it. There are parking spots on the upper and lower parts of the SF side. Both offer incomparable views and pic points. You should see them both. On the northern side it is the same. Multiple spots with multiple, undeniable shots and views. Today I went to the lower part of the SF side. In all the times I've been here, for some reason I missed this. There is a civil war fort down there that you can go all through, but that isn't the half of it. From the parking area to the roof of the fort itself, you have never seen anything like this from the Golden Gate Bridge. The sights are unreal. The pictures awe inspiring. I'm telling you... make this stop #1 if you decide to go.
We crossed the bridge and stopped at the viewing area on the Marin side. The weather was beautiful. There was not a cloud in the sky and the there whole Bay was visible.
Absolutely mesmerizing! Take pictures with your cell phone. This is an opportunity that you don't often get in life. I've had the opportunity to go over the Golden Gate Bridge many times during my life. Why? Because I chose to go up-and-down highway one, eventually I had to go over the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a place that you can stop on each side to enjoy breathtaking views and the architecture of this enormous bridge. It's amazing that this was built very high over the waters and in between 2 mountain ranges with water far below you. It appears to have that golden color which is something that makes this bridge stand out above all others. In many ways this bridge is Majestic!! If you are in San Francisco, this is a stop I must take. If you have enough energy, you could take a long walk over it as well. This is a very windy place so get ready. Whatever you decide to do, if you're in northern California, the Golden Gate Bridge should be on your list! It is like a huge painting. Go see the canvas it is on.
It s awesome to see this masterpiece of engineering!!! We drove by and stoped on the View point on the other side (not the city site)
I think there s some better places ein the other side - but we didn t have the time to go back and search for.
An iconic attraction in San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge. Walked on the bridge and it was amazing. It is such a massive and intricate structure. Saw the beams underneath the bridge and there were some facts about the bridge too. It is a must to check it out.
Awesome is all I can say. Even though it was foggy while we were there.
How beautiful and stunning place it is! Must to visit in San Francisco.
I was riding a bicycle up PCH and trying to get to Oregon. Loved the fantastic view going over the golden gate bridge
It's an amazing structure. Its so pretty at nighttime with its lights on. It's something you have to see as a tourist. I've lived here all my life and never tire of looking at it. There is a store below that's fun to see and get the history.
Pretty area. Nice walking, bike riding, and running. Nice and breezy.
One of the most emblematic places ever. Impressive!!
Terrifying. It's an extremely long way to walk along what is essentially a busy motorway. Very noisy, quite frightening. You can get great photos from the beaches towards the city centre, however.
Terrifying. Always terrifying. There are usually three lanes open leading into or out of the city. That means you can be surrounded by four drivers who don't know how, and who are gaping at the beautiful scenery. And during daytime there is lots of pedestrian traffic on both sides. And seeing how people throw themselves off the bridge, it's not a leap of logic to assume one will throw their self into traffic
Terrifying.
Dylans tours take to golden gate park, the viewing point under the bridge then across the bridge to Sausilito. It was a great view for photos and to see the different colours that the bridge has been painted over the years. On the bay canbe a bit cool take a jacket.
Overall a great place to take those iconic photo's.
San francisco must do
Expensive to cross a bridge but a must! Have your video ready to record your trip across this famous bridge
Sure, it's just a bridge.....but what a bridge ! It looks really impressive from all angles, on sunny days and foggy ones. Make your way to the Visitor Centre parking and walk across the bridge for some great views, and a great experience. Heaps of people either ride or walk the bridge, and be prepared....it's a lot further than it looks, but well worth it. We went half way across and came back....it was great.
Amazing feat of construction. Check the weather before you go, as it gets foggy and cloudy often. Bring along a pair of binoculars. You'll see more than the human eye can see.
You know what this is. It's sooooo much better in person. Walk it or ride it, but be sure to experience it outside of a vehicle. Worth the price if parking.
Great experience waking up at the golden gate bridge !we were traveling thru in our camper stayed right here at the rest stop for the night. It was raining terribly so I didn't get many good pics
A wonderful landmark. The surrounding area is clean and nicely groomed.
Add this bridge to your bucket list the drive over is spectacular and if you're not afraid of heights walking or biking across it's amazing. Take the time to drive up to the bluff she can look down at the bridge.
It's big and it's red. It's not Clifford the Big Red Dog .... It's the Golden Gate Bridge... And when the sun is sitting low in the sky, it really does look golden. It's amazing and busy, but well worth it.
A beautiful world destination! The Holden Gate Bridge is majestic in its presence and beauty. If you re in the area don t miss it. There s a wonderful visitor center, cafe and information area. Plus, you can walk the bridge... truly a California treasure and a world destination.
