An era of history and master piece of mankind. A perfect place for family especially for newly wed couples. Do visit gift shop amazing and innovative products
The bridge is phenomenal, but even better was that we were allowed to stay in the visitor center parking lot for 8 hours with no charge. We we're able to get phenomenal pictures of the bridge & San Francisco in day & night shots, as well as have a free spot to sleep with 24 hour bathroom & snack machine access. The lot is beautifully landscaped, and there's parking for RVs. Be forewarned, there's a toll if you travel the bridge road South into San Fran, but not one going North.
Walking on the Bridge, quiet with a spectacular panorama. Restroom, Parking both sides.
A surreal experience. The view of the bridge has the power to take your breath away.
I have been here in 2006 and 2015 and it is still worth it going there. Just beautiful.
Of course you have to see the Golden Gate Bridge when in San Francisco. Ride a boat beneath it. Drive or walk across it. View San Francisco from the otherside of it. Hike beneath it. Photograph it. It's our Eiffel Tower. Take it all in.
Rented bikes to ride across to and from on the bridge. The view was super amazing and the roads for the bike path is very smooth. The wind can get a pretty crazy so make sure to tie any book bags and stuff. Great place to take pictures too.
Awesome view. Bikes on one side pedestrians on other side. Bathrooms available. Make the crossing
Always a great place to visit! Surreal views of the ocean!
It s red and not golden, SAD! Totally false advertising, most overrated bridge in America. #FakeNews
No pictures capture the grandness of The Golden Gate Bridge like a walk across (and back). This is a definite bucket list adventure. Must walk it in your lifetime!
Amazing views of the SanFranaisco area, very windy though, watch your hat!
Amazing! We walked it and got to see whales from the bridge. It was remarkable!
We thought about biking it but to get the bikes was a 30 minute walk. The bridge is a 40 minute walk for free. Plus the bikes were a bit of a nuisance to pedestrians and other bikers. The space isn't that wide to accommodate both. Best way to get there is by personal car (if staying in SF not a good idea because of parking) or the hop on hop off. They drop you off right at the bridge where your ticket includes a shuttle across the bridge. Or you can either walk or bike. Electric scooters are not permitted (although I did see one).
Experience is awesome. We visit the bay area once a year and it never disappoints to walk the Golden Bridge.
This is my favorite cliff jumping spot if your feeling a little down give this a try, highly recommend spot
What can I say? It s an iconic landmark. When in SF this is a must. I ve drove and walked across it, I did prefer to walk it though. Bring a jacket, it tends to be windy and foggy at times. Plenty of spots where you can get some nice looking photos.
This is the place that you should come in San Francisco without any doubt. Great View to open you mind.
Amazing bridge! Definitely consider biking the Golden Gate Bridge! Make sure to have a jacket as it can be very windy... amazing views on both sides! You should at least spend an hour there! I normally go for a bike there, and also cross the bridge with my car as well! It s nice to drive on it as well!
First time seeing the bridge, and it didn't disappoint! They have great locations right next to the bridge to stop and take a picture.
Beautiful but you'd have to be pretty lucky to get it on a day that isn't cloudy or foggy.
Loved it.
I gotta say it was very impressive to walk over this bridge.
Everyone who is visiting san francisco just has to walk over this bridge.
Breath taking view of the Golden Gate Bridge and sea. I recommend the earlier you arrive there the better.
Iconic and historical place to go! Takes around 30 to 45 minutes to walk through. Very refreshing walk with spectacular view of the city.
The walk was great. Fair warning, there isn't really anything on the other side for walkers.
labor day weekends. very crowded. no parking. cloudy over the bridge.
Beautiful place with stunning view of the ocean. Do keep your camera handy as you will be motivated to take a lot of pictures. Good hike nearby
Awesome walk, beautiful history, and a shroud of mystery.
Wonderful experience to be there. I wish I had more time, but if you have some time to rent a scooter or bicycle just don't forget to ride on it. It's an amazing experience. Try to get there as early as possible. It's a different experience to see this beauty in fog. Make sure to wear layers of cloths as it would so windy and freezing if you decide to go on hop on hop off buses.
Fantastic views, and the fast rolling fog adds an air of mystery and awe
Espectacular !!! ENJOY EVERY STEP I TOOK!!! THE MAVERICKS. THE BEST EVER SEEN
it is so beautiful! definitely a must go to tourist spot!
A real stunner. Great hike to the bridge, very scenic
Anytime of the year is a good to
visit Golden Gate Bridge. Don't miss the beautiful views from the top of Fort Mason
What's better than a golden bridge, even in the fog
San Francisco icon that should be visited and admired by everyone! My son and I had the most amazing time and the views are breathtaking.
Nice view, had a walking on the bridge, many people ride bicycles you can rent a bike and ride on too to cross the bridge must seen
This a iconic bridge, known all over the world just to walk or ride across it the first time will give you goosebumps, a beautiful piece of engineering
As an engineer myself, I can't stop being amazed by this masterpiece and how well it was built with 1930's technology. Beside the functionality, the bridge has become the most recognized icon of the beautiful San Francisco. The bridge can be seen from different points located within the city and, man, what a million dollar sight! Things like this made America (US) great!
Dont wanna close my eyes, dont wanna fall asleep, cause I miss u babe, and I dont wanna miss a thing...
I visited San Jose with my family and had the opportunity of visiting Google, Apple and Facebook headquarters as well as Yahoo. My daughter wanted us to go see the Goldengate Bridge which was about 45 minutes drive. It was getting late but since we were heading back to LA the next day we decided to go see the bridge and I must tell you, I m glad we made that trip. The bridge is a beautiful site to see especially at sunset and the lights are turned on. We took some of the best pictures there.
If you plan on visiting Northern California, go see the Golden Gate Bridge. It s worth the trip.
Walking on the bay it's really amazing and fun... You can get a beautiful picture at any time of the day.
Beautiful bridge. Even bigger than I thought. The view is amazing and it is fun to walk through it.
It's one of a kind bridge, feels very stable on it even when you know you are suspended on it. It's hard to find a clear day without fog and smog but when you do, it's gorgeous
It's long, it's noisy due to traffic but it's the golden gate bridge. Not sure I'd recommend walking the entire thing, to the view point in the other side and back again. Was a but far! Also kind of tricky to get to. But that's not the bridges fault! .
--FIRST WALK ACROSS THIS BRIDGE BEFORE YOU DRIVE ACROSS IT FOR A MUCH BETTER GG BRIDGE EXPERIENCE--
Amazing experience for shure, you will be overwhelmed by what you see if you visit here,
If this is your first time visiting The Golden Gate Bridge, I highly recommend to FIRST WALK ACROSS THIS BRIDGE, BEFORE YOU DRIVE ACROSS IT, you GG Bridge experience from that will be 10 times more awe inspiring than if you drive across it first for driving across it only lasts maybe 7 min and in that you lose the surprise you will get when you then go to walk across it later, I think the walk is about 45 min in a straight walk, of course you will take longer as you stop all along the way to enjoy the amazing views, also there are restrooms on the other side of the bridge at the vista point that you can use after the crossing on foot.
Be sure to dress warmly and bring your camera fully charged up, you will take many pictures.
What was not too fun was the constant bicycle traffic that did not allow you to take pictures of the towers, hopefully the west walkway will open soon for the bicycles.
Be sure to visit the south end visitors center and outside informative displays and the round house cafe
I rode the bicycle on the bridge and the breeze felt so good. A must see in San Francisco
BRO IT"S SO GOOD I THREW MY CHILD OFF OF IT AND HE DIED IT REALLY WORKS!! i tried throwing myself off of it and just hit the water and now im crippled for life soo yea
Outstanding walk from the beach all the way to the bridge, sunset was awesome, highly recomended
Nice views! We drove to hawk hill, natures bridge and battery Spencer to get different views of the bridges and then drove across the golden gates. There is a nice quiet beach near natures bridge which we really liked.

Beautiful place to visit and explore just dont forget ur water
It's very famous bridge in world. I've visited in October during my SF visit. it was so amazing. historical bridge in california.
Beautiful as usual. Try to get there around saying time. It is even better.
Magnificient bridge! Viewing from the mountain or walking across it or driving on it or low clouds or no clouds, every sight of the bridge is spectacular.
Make sure you wear a jacket since the place is very windy.
My family and I are staying in San Francisco, we have been over the Golden Gate Bridge 2 times now, it never gets old I love it here the Golden Gate Bridge is so beautiful but there are also so many other places to see.
If you are staying here you are guaranteed to have a lot of fun!!!
Love the sights from here. Always a good place to repeated a visit.
I never get tired of visiting the Golden Gate Bridge. I stop at the visitors center on the Marin side and walk across it. Always enjoy the views and taking photos of the bridge up close.
It was great! It took me about 60 minutes and it was a good view!
There are few things as iconic as the Golden Gate Bridge. And, there are even fewer monuments that make for an affordable activity in San Francisco.
First off, the park itself is completely free. There is no need to spend any money at park, though they have a nice and reasonably priced food on site. Additionally, you are able to walk across the entire bridge and enjoy many great views of the city. If you re a little lucky and keen eyed, you can also see seals from the bridge. Finally, on the other side of the bridge, if your willing to go for a little bit of a walk/hike, there is a cute little marina.
All in all the park is great, the biggest downsides are that some cyclists aren t cognizant of the rules or manners, as well as traffic on the bridge is very loud (it s a well traveled important highway!). This is offset by all the great things the park has to offer, so still a 5/5.
Riding bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge . Great way to see the beautiful city.
Went to jump but the view was so beautiful I decided to live life again.
Amazing place ,park and walk to the bridge, amazing experience....
P.d. check the forecast first....
Great bridge! There are two spots to look and take a picture from both sides. One is Vista point and other is Fort Point. You have to pay for drive across the bridge, but only from city side
The bridge isn't golden, it's Red. Fun place. Free to go to San Francisco but $5 to leave. Watch the documentary "The Bridge" it's interesting. .
Really enjoyed San Francisco but the fog spoiled the day as we couldn't see the bridge.
Very impressive. How did they mange to build this at the time. Worth a visit while in San Fran
As a civil engineer, I love how much advanced technology used. Construction of a bridge was a challenge at that time. People worried about the bridge would not be able to withstand the waves of water but the engineers have much more worries such as wind loads and seismic loads. But they still built it and it was the biggest success!
I only got to drive over the bridge but it was amazing to see. I had seen it so many times in pictures, shows, and movies but seeing it in person was pretty amazing. I would love to return, get to walk it, and see more of it and take pictures.
Spectacular view and awesome weather on that Sunday in Nov
Pretty amazing sight to see. I didn't know, but this is considered a national park. Some intriguing information in the museum, etc.
