Truly amazing views!
Last year photos.
Been here a few times and it doesn't get old. The views are amazing from the Marin side
It's been over 17 years since the last time I was here and it still looks spectacular! Beautiful views and friendly people too!
I never expected that walking across (and back) this bridge would be a trip highlight, but it was. Allow hours of time for the walk and to read all the information available on the displays nearby. It is fully 1.7 miles one way. Bring your lunch and water to keep fed and hydrated. (Optionally one can bike this bridge.)
Awesome place to visit with family. Rent bikes or just walk across the bridge. Lots to see and do around the site.
A pretty bridge with scenic over looks on the bay. Lots of people walking the bridge.
Gold Gate bridge is so amazing. You can never get bored of Golden gate bridge. It's so majestic. The best place to take a picture is to go the other side of the bridge to Battery Spencer. You can also go to the beach. There's a lot of crowd which is expected. Parking isn't easily available as well, so look around. My advice will be to bike or park your car and then hike or walk.
Iconic.....Highlighting the most beautiful city in the world.
If you love San Francisco then you know this bridge is iconic and is a site to behold
A great place to stop and step out from the chaotic city pace.
Absolutely beautiful views. Great photo spots. You can't pass this up. Highlight of my trip.
Amazing bridge that I see on the sea by the cruise after that I went the watching view place near the Golden Get bridge .
It so long bridge on the sea .
It first time for me visit in San Francisco has lot of places to visit.
I visited 3 days I really enjoyed too much .
Chheng Sokna come from Cambodia.
I m visitor
Just amazing love being their just looking out and enjoying the view.
Historic bridge with beautiful view, i had much fun in it, i love it
I felt like yeah I made it but once your in the other side you have to take a tour bus back at Vista point. There is no public transportation back. Beautiful! Be careful it will cost you $15 per person to get back to the city. We got a tour bus to Sausalito and took the ferry back. Don't miss Sausalito it's a quaint little town but start out early to cross the bridge the shops in the town close by 5-6 pm
Always a beautiful walk with beautiful pics that never cease to amaze!
Really incredible sight to see!! Walk around the visitor center towards the ocean, and the view is just incredible!!
came here on vacation.. very pretty but really expected more
The visit in San Francisco is not complete without seeing the most visited and photographed bridge in the world, the Golden Gate Bridge.
Landmark place testament of what is possible with vision! One man's vision can inspire the rest to make it happen! It sounds impossible until someone visualize it and puts together a team and makes it happen. Then in hindsight is sounds obvious!
The foggy look is so beautiful you can't look away.
it was really cool to go on i recommend riding across it on a bicycle or walking to get the full wow factor its really cool for views and just really amazed me i recommended it to anyone but not younger children and it does get packed
Amazing views. Take care you take a walk towards viewpoints
Magnificent. Saw it from both ends. Nice sunny day. US Navy did air show for us! A memorable experience.
Beautiful 3 mile walk round trip over the bridge and back.
it is called the golden gate bridge after the strait between the bay and the ocean not because it is gold. if people bothered to research this they would know. overall thought it was really nice lovely views and it was a beautiful red colour
It was complete colony when I went!!! Beautiful place
Beautiful. Should wait for dark to see real golden gate.
Impressive, to say the least. My favorite activity while walking across is seeing all the tourists, in convertibles especially, try to take videos and photos. Shocked there aren't more accidents.
Oo my god I am very excited first time I went to visit Golden Gate Bridge in sfo it s super nice times goes very fast I miss that place.
Walked along the bridge. Great views of San Francisco, the Bay, and the very unusual bridge itself!
An iconic structure! Definitely worth the visit! :-)
It is a must if you are sightseeing San Francisco. I just hope weather will be good, sunny days are the best to fully appreciate the beauty of this place.
Awesome experience visiting this place. Lots of wonderful history to see.
One of the most beautiful sights I have ever saw, it is 100% worth it to walk across the bridge. You will witness views like never before
It's always majestic to drive through this marvel of a structure. Especially when it's foggy.
What can you say?! Only, perhaps, choose your day/time wisely about walking (or biking) across... of course it's much more enjoyable in clear weather (though the fog can be pretty dramatic, beautiful), and unless it's a hot day don't forget to bring a sweater or jacket.
This is a spectacle everybody should see. An amazing feat by man way back in the early 1900s PS bring a jacket it's very windy and cold up there in the middle of summer.
Stunning architecture and views. Definitely worth a visit and to walk across!
Go and see it. It's iconic. Park at the visitors center and check that out. Walk out over it if you don't want to pay the toll to drive across, but the views of the city on the other side are worth the toll. Hint: the toll is one way to come back into the city.
Definitely a must to visit if you are visiting. Great spot for families , its huge . Alot of thing to do . Take lots of pictures. You can sit down to have a picnic, eat, have coffee or just view . They have alot of different things to do . Gift shop and coffee place .
Great view of the city and bay from the walking bridge
Can explain exactly why but crossing Golde gate is an special experience.. dont miss it!!
Cycled to the bridge from our hotel, flat and nice view of the sea. Gets a little steep, but you won't be the only one walking with a bike. Good pitstop for history of the bridge and plate tectonics!
Place to visit and experience can vary depending on weather. You have the option to drive, bike or walk across if you want and usually it is busy no matter what. There is a Vista point on the other side with the view of the city. There is a toll to pay on the way back if you are driving, FasTrack lanes move well.
Love it so beautiful and unusual fog coming so fast surreal
Definitely a sight to see, but they could have cleaned up the view a bit.. Not very many picture friendly areas on SF/museum side of the bridge. Took the mile walk over the bridge and ubered back into the city. Able to cross of a bucket list item.
Crossing the bride by bicycle is amazing. The view is great.
Always windy! Still, you have to walk across it, at least once in your life!
Best ! Sensational views, and just an overall great experience for anyone visiting the bay area, and our beautiful city San Francisco! Enjoy the stay !
Modern marvel of engineering! San Francisco iconic !!
The spot is perfect for pictures you have to go early if you don't want to have hard time looking for parking since is a super popular place gets busy fast
It is not only a natural scenario which attracts the tourist here, but I'll say it as the place where the best of nature and human creativity is on the top level.
Ships passing through this bridge adds an ornaments to its beauty.
the most elusive bridge to see EVER (mostly bc of the fog), but once you catch a view of it, it's breathtaking.
Beautiful, iconic, historic, essential, etc. Defining image of SF.
Walking along the GGB is a must, during your visit to San Francisco. The bridge is all the more impressive when you see the cables and towers close up. It's windy out on the bridge, so watch your hats or wear a stocking cap to keep your ears warm.
The Golden Gate Bridge is an iconic piece to San Francisco! You can't say you've been to SF if you don't walk the bridge, and take a couple shots heres and there of this beautiful bridge. Take comfortable shoes to walk it all the way.
Incredible architecture. The only thing I have seen close is the Owen Hayes Bridge in Hokes Bluff Alabama. A must see for anyone traveling through the state of Alabama.
It is an amazing place. I got overwhelmed by the architecture of this modern marble.
The best place to visit in USA. I think 1st sight of this bridge is ever memorable. You will love to visit it again and again..
I couldn t find a place to park my car and walk on the bridge. Maybe I should have gone there via public transportation.
Stole my key to my car.. Deposited it into the Pacific Ocean... Bad Bridge.
It's a bit of a ealk but well worth it to walk across. Just know that, no matter the weather, it is very windy on the bridge. I'd suggest comfortable walking shoes, a sweatshirt, and pants or shorts (skirts are cute, but normally get blown around by the wind).
Definite must see in San fran. Take a stroll down to crissy park.. the beach walk is nice and the area smells great when the shrubs are in bloom!!
Spectacular views on a sunny yet breezy day! Was lucky to spot dolphins swimming alongside some windsurfers.
Walk on the bridge is must do a thing, great views of the city and bay. Parking is tight but available after a couple of minutes wait. Massive traffic on and around the bridge, but once you reach the spot, it's worth it. There is a cafe also where you'll get snacks and coffee at a reasonable price, but it's too crowded most of the time. There are hiking trails, also.
