Good visit, nice view, short stay as just the bridge.
It s a must visit spot in San franc! Golden Gate Bridge always appears in the movies. Great to see it with your own eyes
What can I say. I want to say it sucks. The only thing that I really saw in San Francisco on my road trip. I spent most of the day in Oakland. But here is a place that I had to go to. I wanna be a contrarian and say it's not all that special, but it was awesome. People from all over the world. I just wish the fog didn't block most of the view from afar. Walking through the fog on the bridge was an experience. I was surprised how chilly it was for August. On the Florida panhandle it is like a sauna. It was a great walk, I'm sure it would be a great place to go for a morning run. It would be way more comfortable to do in August, than it is back home.
Finally got to see the bridge on a less foggy day and it is just as spectacular as you would think! Such a powerful and beautiful structure. Highly recommend
Iconic! A must see and u dont need to pay to see it! You can park and walk onto the bridge just watch out for cyclists and joggers! Great photo opportunities from here.
As hyped as it may be, the way the bridge looks in the sunlight is amazing. I biked over it and drove over it during my trip to San Francisco so I can say it's also very structurally sound.
Stunning view of this colossal engineering symbol! If you get there at sunset... Oh wow!!
Great place to go , also go to this chanel and subscribe
Sooo much fun to ride our bikes across, cold but fun. Had to get away from the smoke from the LNU Fires. Great getaway for the day.
Had a great time walking the bridge. Long walk at 1.7 miles each way but parking was super affordable at only $2
Take the bike ride. You only live once. Just be mindful of the ferry times otherwise you will be waiting awhile. Wouldn't hurt to take a little extra water and snack with you. The photo ops are simply amazing
Freaking windy so be prepared, but amazing structure
What an incredible experience, it's cold but worth the walk! You just have to experience it for yourself
The bridge was AWESOME, and the bridge cookie and the fog cutter espresso from the Roundhouse Cafe made our experience even better !!!
Walk across the bridge is nice, good views of SF. Walk is about 45 minutes one way.
It s a beautiful bridge! The view from the top is incredible unless it s foggy or rainy outside, it s a fun bridge and was way longer than I thought it would be. It looks smaller in pictures than it actually is! Their is nothing to do on it since it s a bridge but it s very pretty. I went under the bridge and it was really cool to see, if you go to San Francisco make sure to drive or walk across this.
WOW! Wish we would have had more time! We got there and it was all clouded in, we could see part of the closest tower. But after an hour or so, the fog cleared and we were able to see the entire thing, watching it "appear" out of the fog bank was truly mind blowing beautiful!
The reason we wished we would have had more time was to allow us to walk out on the bridge and see the views from there as well.
It's a bridge.. that's pretty much it, you can see alcatraz from there
If I could it would be 10 stars! BEAUTIFUL area! The historic Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point, and Alcatraz all viewable from the bridge area! I crossed the bridge of course and we hiked around the Fort Point area, words cannot say how amazing it was! Much recommended!
Sailed under the bridge while going to Oakland and also took a walk on it. It's beautiful and really shows the marvelous efforts of engineering.
Nice to be there.. park is good place to relax if u are tired..
Great experience. We rode bicycles across one day and later in week walked it. I recommend both.
Perfect view for photographers , though little traffic u can expect.. really chilling breeze
Golden Gate bridge is a must stop in San Francisco. interestingly, you will get best pictures NOT from the view point on the other side but from the national park viewpoint.
An impressive engineering master piece. You MUST walk to feel the power of the wind and the know-how behind the construction.
It was a bit foggy the day we rode our bikes to the bridge, but, we MADE IT!!!
Beautiful views though and a great, challenging ride up.
Love to visit here. It have it's own history. Must to visit place.
A must see when you are in San Francisco. It s a beautiful looking bridge and it s a really fun experience to walk along. It does get very noisy with all the cars whizzing by you. It is very windy at most times so hold onto your hats. More
Gold gate bridge 5 stars visit, 3rd or 4th visit ;)
You need to taker your time to enjoy the view of the bridge in both sides... coming to San Francisco and Getting out, absolutely recomended at the Sunset and Sunrise!! SAN Francisco Is cold think in that and bring gloves and coat or sweater .... one of the best cool cities and view in the world.
I never been here before but the first time I crossed the bridge was for the Presidio 10. Go early and beat the traffic and crowds
It's an amazing place to visit. One of the most popular bridges in the entire world. This place attracts a lot of tourists around the world. A must visit if you are in the SF Bay area
Beautiful view, but it can be intimidating if you are afraid of heights.
This is a film scenery. It is such a spectacular experience to cross the bridge. We did it using bicycles starting at Pier 39 and then all the way up (and down) to Sausalito. Everyone should try this once una lifetime.
Awesome oh, awesome weather, wonderful place to be if it weren't for all the dirty politicians and the corrupt money I would say it was the most beautiful state in our country
I was really enjoyed and impressed on appreciating on those beautiful spots.
I liked It, but It was pretty foggy. I saw dolphins and sea lions from the bridge. Really interesting crossing the bridge on foot.
I THINK MOTO MOTO LIKES U AND JUMPED OFF THE BRIDGE WHEN U SAID NO TO HIM, HOW COULD YOU, HE IS BEAUTIFUL
The most beautiful place I have ever been to. The scenery is just spectacular.
It's the Golden Gate Bridge!! Awesome to visit and see the Bay. We went on a beautiful day not too windy and sunny. The food at the little cafe was excellent too. Will be going again!
Must visited place in San Francisco. But be careful while travel at evening time. Do not keep anything in car. We lost our bag with passports in bag. They broke my car window and took al belongings!
Many tourists come to visit this bridge, because it's beautiful... I've been there many times as I can...I like to think about God and his wondrous works.
Hello? One of the most beautiful bridges in the world. I live here and I never get tired of it. Ever.
No matter how many times you visit this American iconic landmark always impresses.
Beautiful sight and bridge with a great view of the water around. Quintessential for visiting the city but not necessarily requirement to drive across.
It is a great place to bw, but in the fog it is hard to see the whole thing. The pricing is also confusing to me.
The view of the bridge was really cool, and the information before the bridge was really interesting. We did not go on the bridge and it was super windy/cold so we decided not to venture out. Other than that, a great American landmark that is well worth a look.
An engineering wonder which one must visit while in San Francisco.
Generally crowded in holidays.
But one can drive onto an adjacent hill, to appreciate a comprehensive view of the bridge.
However, one should not overlook an opportunity to walk on the footpaths on the sidewalks of the bridge.
At the same instant, one should be watchful of the cycles moving in the nearby path!
It is a huge and magnificent bridge ever in my view. I feel more excited than I expected from the movie and some series.
Impressive, looks really surreal when the mist rolls in
Passed through there on the way to Ukiah. It was better looking in person than in pics. A lot shorter than expected but we'll worth it for the scenery.
Impressive and majestuous, I crossed it by bike, stopping at the very top center to have a time looking at the beautiful view. This was a great moment.
Beautiful. Didn't see or run into anything weird. Just a nice trip to Starfleet Academy and Golden Gate Bridge.
Seems like an afterthought as a Bay Area native
But it's a nice bridge with a cool history
My visit of a dream. Man.. I was dreaming all along my life, walking on it and it didn't disappoint me
Just WOW. What a sight! The sunset here is a must watch. A good place.
It's an amazing view and huge structure, you can have a good pictures there
Fantastic views. A good hike accross. You can feel the suspension bridge move when the wind is blowing strong! People from all over the world! You hear many languages. A true international icon!
Fogged in.
Typical of the Bays area though. I can see why it is an attraction however.
It feels great to be in a place where se much happened and so many people know how iconic and awesome this bridge is.
Beautiful day and beautiful scenery. Definitely worth seeing.
Fantastic point of view. A must to see. Take the opportunity to walk to cross the bridge.
Obviously must see in San Francisco. Love the souvenir shop.
It would have been nice if there is a larger restaurant or coffee shop next to the souvenir shop. Current food place is very poor!
Really amazing. Bridgereakly good walking that day ,,,nice blue sky....clean air you could get while walking ..even busy road there ....also. Had. A store and cafe. You could get. Sit relax after the bridge trail
Amazing Engineering marvel and great San Francisco attraction. If you never walked across, do it next time your in San Francisco!
It is really nice apparently but it was foggy and I didn't see it. The fog was cool though
Postcard views not always guaranteed. What you can be certain of is a wind through the air San Francisco. Golden Gate Bridge come rain or mist is an iconic bucket list outing. Spectacular views onto Alcatraz and San Francisco always guaranteed. Wear flowers in your hair for the trip and sit upstairs on the hop on hop off bus for the full-look up experience on the drive over.
