It's a beautiful bridge. But I hate how crowded it always is rain or shine. And when the Giants are playing, open up the lanes!! Two lanes just isn't sufficient for the traffic especially on a Friday. Frustrating.

For it was everything I thought it would be going across that bridge. Except for the tunnel. I was really excited about the tunnel because I didn't know that there was one. Beautiful historic landmark. I would suggest either walking across or driving across with an open mind and no expectations. This bridge attracts from different backgrounds. So it was nice to just take all the beauty in and listen to all the different voices; speaking different languages expressing their admiration.

There is a lot to do at the Golden Gate Bridge. You can walk around it and undernearh it. There are also paths to go down to the dock part of it. You can take nice pictures with the setting. Very foggy though constantly. Come earlier or later because it gets crowded mid day

Recommend walking the Golden gate Bridge from the San Francisco side. Make sure to check out the outdoor museum of the bridge that will provide you with history of when and how the bridge was built.

Who doesn't love the Golden Gate Bridge?! It's a travelers MUST! You Have to walk it or ride your bike across at least once in your life. Bring a jacket no matter how warm it looks, the wind will pick up and you'll be chilly. Such a wonderful piece of California history.

Great place a dream come true. It was the first time to visit San Francisco and l had a good time. The weather is cold in Jan - march so do have warm clothes with you. Also do visit one of the best place of the world. At night it's too cold.

Its definitely a landmark that one should see at least once in their life. Unfortunately the weather wasnt the greatest when I visited and most of my pictures turned out terrible. The visitor center can get pretty busy and parking is a little sparce at times.

Simply put: it's a must-do if you haven't been to San Francisco before. We were staying in Fisherman's Wharf and we rented bikes from a place that let us keep them for 24 hours. We took the day to ride around town, across the bridge and over to Sausalito. There's a nice fence between you and the traffic on the bridge so whether you're walking or riding, you feel safe. Lots of great photo ops here, with or without the fog.

Every bit as good as you've heard. The bridge is truly awesome, and the color makes it unique. Truly deserving of its iconic reputation. Beware that traffic can be very heavy. Also, if you're the driver, don't be distracted by the beautiful views. Keep moving forward at the speed limit and watch where you're going!

Amazing experience, and a must see if you are in the area. Walking all the way from Fisherman's Warf to the bridge was definitely worth the workout and gave us an amazing experience all the way around.

Noce photo opportunities either side of the bridge, get the tourist buses that do the city loop as they go over the bridge a number of times per day. It's pretty windy so take a jacket even on a warm summers day.

Beautiful bridge that is very different than others you will see around the US. There are other fun things to look at around it as well. Examples include a painted rainbow entering the tunnel directly after it. Great pictures, but miss the clouds.

Impressive feat of human engineering. Nice to walk it if you can, it is not that long of a walk and it is not difficult. There a great view points at both ends of the bridge. Do not miss out on this if you are visiting SF

Loved the photo opportunities from the Fort parking lot. We could get quite a few angles of this amazing bridge and before we took a slow ride over it. Amazing structure and an amazing feeling to see it in real life and not just in movies.

We stopped here on our bus tour. We took in the views from Fort Point on the lower level of the Golden gate bridge and got some good views. While crossing the brdige, we could see whales down on the bay. Awesome!

I have been here 2 times, and it has been a great experience, the view the bridge and the Marine headlands are beautiful. The breeze is good. Walking on the bridge is a great experience. I would recommend this place for people who are visiting San Francisco.

Very paranoiac view from this bridge. This is very long bridge and it is the symbol of great engineering at that time. It was built in several years by several skilled engineers. Must visit place

Umm...how can I give the Golden Gate Bridge anything less than 5 stars? It is beautiful, historical, a great place to walk or drive over to Sausalito. I wish the bridge toll wasn't so high...oh well...

Seeing the golden gate bridge in person is a awesome sight I used to draw pictures of it when I was in school in art class back then it looked clean and fresh painted now in 2020 its look like faded and rusty sad it's a shame if its keeps up soon that bridge won't be standing California is a dump for rich and homeless only that's why I'm no longer there

Again - so touristy. But so what. How cool is this bridge? Probably the most recognized bridge inbthe world - if not North America, the Golden Gate is dizzingly high. How people walk it I'll never know. I can think of another SF icon - Vertigo.

It seems longer in pictures and is in remarkably good condition. Traffic moved along swiftly.

It is so cool.

This bridge is a fantastic feat of human ingenuity. Insider note: there is a fantastic view of the bridge from just past a resort called Cavallo Point, along with an old military bunker historic site which was used to be used to protect the bay during WW II. And the best part? Almost nobody else knows about this spot, so you can get fantastic pictures in absolute peace.

Beautiful location, really enjoyed my visit from London. Only downside was the amount of unruly cyclists taking up the entire path, often rudly ringing their bells despite being in the pedestrian lane.

Very impressive and beautiful but they have a huge problem with people breaking into cars and stealing your bags. So dont leave any belongings in your car. Apparently the north side parking, after you have left San Francisco, is a little safer. Good luck

This is must see place in San Francisco, because that's what the city is known for. I'm from New York. We have 5-7 or even more bridges in the area. Brooklyn Bridge, Verrazano Bridge are so very beautiful bridges, even prettier than Golden Gate))) sorry))))
Anyway, the bridge is a symbol of San Francisco, so you MUST see it, must drive in it. The park itself is very beautiful. Other side if the park (after crossing under the bridge on foot ) is very windy .
Also it could be challenging to find a parking spot.
I'm glad I got to see the Bridge.

You hear so much about this bridge, see it in movies, see pictures, but seeing it for the first time with your own eyes you still get awestruck. The best view of it you probably get from the Battery Spencer lookout just to the Northwest of the Bridge. Anyways I really liked the changing views as you walk along the trails around the bridge.

Just amazing and beautiful!

Just amazing and beautiful!

Something you must see when visiting San Francisco

Parking is tough but the wait is definitely worth it .

Very recommended!!!
