A lot to enjoy here. Always filled with people enthusiastically taking pictures . Also has access to a scenic tracking route. I like crossing the bridge through pedestrian underpass and listening to the thundering noise of the cars crossing the bridge.

Came to San Francisco and just had to do the tourist thing. We both walked across it and took a boat tour which got us under the bridge. I'd recommend the boat tour. It gives a better sense of scale and your vacation photos will be slightly more unique and filled with less tourist.

It was smaller than I thought but still an amazing thing to see! Bring a jacket. It is VERY cold and windy. Also you should go to the museum underneath on the San Fran side. Very informative and fun to see.

Beautiful and iconic bridge.

We rented bikes to ride across from San Francisco to Sausalito. It was a cool experience, but extremely crowded on the bridge in some parts.

Way harder to be a biker on the bridge, there are pedestrians everywhere. I found that part of the ride kind of frustrating.

Once you get across, there s a ferry you can take back, so that you don t have to ride tour bike all the way back.

As a first-timer I figured it would be cool to see the GGB but it would be underwhelming.

I couldn t have been more wrong, the curves & hills of 101 provided such unbelievable vantage points. The bridge is truly breathtaking with the rocks, hills & fog that surround it.

Wow! Just wow! This bridge is part of so many movies and TV serials but in reality it is even more stunning than expexted! It looks pretty decent from both sides but you probably get the best view on the north side from atop of the hill. I also highly recommend the walk over the bridge as it is free, can be done by foot and bicycle and gives you a wonderful view over San Francisco bay and the Skyline of San Francisco. It is also worth visiting the Golden Gate Bridge multiple times to see it in the best sunlight/weather.

Totally worth the walk. It's long but fully engaging. Both end also have beautiful walks. Even in the misty weather it was beautiful with the barge fog horns going and an almost eerie feeling.

Loved it and the walk was refreshing. Bring water and snacks as it is a long walk and back. Beautiful views. The one stop everyone has to make and can be crowded on certain days. Check before you go to find the best times to visit without as many people. I gave it a 4 as it is everyone s stop and can get difficult.

An amazing adventure. If you want great pictures at the right times expect to need two good days for all sides. Plan on heavy traffic and Tolls. It's great to have your own transportation and a GPS near you

Breath taking view, extremely chilly winds and beautiful ocean beneath, that's literally the heaven on the earth. Golden gate bridge is one of best engineering marvel, standing on just 2 pillars and was built in just 4 years.
You can take a bicycle and enjoy the beautiful city line and sea port or walk across the bridge which will roughly take 30 mins. Instead of going by car, the best way to love nature and engineering is by walk. The winds are really high and chilly. And the view will literally blow your mind.

Astounding beautiful but I definitely don't recommend going out there before 9:30 around October November December heavy fog sit straight across the whole Bridge some people dig that other people's like the sunny you look all in all it was beautiful and definitely one for the books

Historical location, good for families and visitors of all walks of life. The parking is pricey & it's a little bit difficult to find a spot. Be sure to bring a sweatshirt or jacket because the cold air coming off the bay will make you cut your visit short if you don't.

To be beside this bridge really is amazing and breathtaking! The size of the Golden Gate bridge is unbelievable. You would not be disappointed. If you find yourself in Northern California make sure you go see it! Once there take it all in see it from both sides and take a boat ride under it. The pics I posted are from when my wife and I went under in a boat from Pier 39. We were disappointed because the fog was so thick, but then through the fog we could see it. The massive bridge coming through was amazing and we were not disappointed at all! Great place to check off your bucket lid!!

We biked across the bridge, but probably would have been easier/nicer to walk it. It's crazy busy on the bridge as is, so we ended up walking our bikes across most of the way. Sausalito is a must see if traveling north on the bridge as well.

Words cant describe the beauty of this marvel of modern engineering. I've been on very foggy days, and I've been on clear days, and either way you'll never forget the experience of visiting this iconic site. The souvenir shop has cool drinking glasses, but be prepared for torrents of pedestrians and traffic in the area surrounding the bridge and park.

As a local you kind of stay away from areas that attract tourist. Although I must say, doing the Golden Gate walk across was such a nice experience. Looking over to the water, seeing how it was built, the history and seeing other in awe, made the walk worth while.

Nothing to say here. If you are in SF even for a day, this should be worth a selfie. Just don't forget your jacket though. That place can get seriously windy. The ppercentage of the bridge you see depends on fog ;)
