If you are in San Francisco you have to go see it. It does make it really crowded but still a nice place to go to with some of the views you get of the bay while trying to get a view of the bridge :)

I've been fascinated with this bridge since I was a kid so worried I would be disappointed when I was finally going to see it in person. I was not.
The setting is amazing and the color contrast when the fog rolled in was amazing.
We walked a portion of it and I wish I had my bike with me as it would have been fun to ride across the bridge.
The area around the bridge was just as fascinating with a ton of historical markers providing a lot of interesting hikes and stops around the bridge with interesting vantage points of the bridge. Biking the areas, again, would have made for a perfect day.

They have made it very convenient to bike or drive to get some good views and get on the Golden Gate Bridge. Unfortunately it is very popular and over crowded so it can make it somewhat difficult to get around and enjoy the bridge.

This is one of the most iconic land marks in the US and even if you've think you've seen it, it's different in person. It's much grander and more amazing and much much creepier (in the way suspension bridges are) it's free to get in which is already a bonus. This and Alcatraz are a must see in my opinion. Sometimes if you're lucky you can see whales and dolphins under the bridge

Iconic for a reason! The views around and from then Golden Gate bridge are simply spectacular. Catch a helicopter flying directly beneath you as you cycle over the bridge and you'll be left with your jaw on the floor!

I went to every corner of the bridge. Awesome views from all. Baker beach had about 30 old naked guys on the beach end closest to the bridge. So watch out if you have kids. But its ine of the better photo ops.

I grew up in Novato and the bridge was to be paid in total. Now they talking about raising the toll to support the looking Golden gate Transit and ferry system. At the same time Jerry is going to raise taxes on gas. He do this before Gavin or Cox get into the capital. The 3 starts is because the workers do a good job.

Visiting the Golden Gate was so dreamy! I always wanted to go and see how impressive it really is but it overexcited my expectations! We obviously drove up and down and spend some time on the other side of the island, there is also a very nice path to do some hiking.

If you don t have a car and still want to visit the bridge, there is a couple of way you can still do it, you can either take a ferry and that take you to the bridge and back, I think it was 1 hour ride and when you come back you can see some sea life in the natural habitat too, they also go around Alcatraz and then they take you back to the port.

If you don t want to do this, you can rent a bike and cycle to the bridge and back, you will have plenty of beautiful landscapes on the way, and if you cross the bridge, on the other side there is a restaurant where you can have a refreshing cocktail or just water.

Don t miss this out when you are in San Francisco!

Overall : 10/10

Beautiful scenery, a ton if history and a great hike. Start at Crissy Field and walk up to the bridge. You should at least walk to the first tower. Stay to the right on the paths and leave room for the bike riders.

Is so big and lovely.

Is so big and lovely.
(I wish the city wouldn't charge a toll. Or least fix the pot holes in the most beautiful, priciest city to live in with money collected from the tolls)

I have been here and the experience is overwhelming. The San Francisco Bridge, It is a bridge made steel, is said to be the Golden Gate. The magnificence of the structure is indeed overwhelming. Because of it is a big and heavy structure some people doesn't know that it is also considered a hanging bridge and it is connecting two islands of the San Francisco Bay. It is considered as one of the famous tourist attraction in the world. And one of the seventh wonders of the world according to Atlas. So I give it a two thumbs up!

A great place to go for a walk and take in the architecture of the bridge. The day I went there were not many people walking across the bridge. This offers a great view of the water and the city.

Never thought I would actually enjoy looking at a bridge... boy was I wrong! Something about the Golden Gate Bridge is truly awesome. You see many people from all walks of life coming to look at this amazing landmark. Pictures and words do not do it any justice, it is definitely a check off of my bucket list

Amazing views of the bridge and the marina. Historic landscape, no questions asked, but could be managed and maintained a lot better. The added barricades are spoiling the view, and I think there should be more cleaning for a site visited by thousands of people every day.

The bridge is beautiful and takes around 30 mins of walking going one way. The wind is strong up there so hold on to your hats! Also, beware of the slit between the sidewalk and the road. Also, don't skateboard on the bridge. I saw an officer warn one kid about it. The bridge is safe as well because of the officers walking on it constantly

Great views weather was wonderful and chilly as expected. Totally worth the walk just for the pictures. Just make sure you have a decent camera. You'll regret not having one. The only thing was the little shop that sold the appetizers and the water the prices were outrageous. Outside of that it was an excellent experience.

Golden Gate Bridge would be the most beautiful and the most photographed bridge in the world. Such admirable is its beauty. It was a nice experience walking over the bridge that links the American city of San Francisco to Marin County. More
