Windy, Windy, Windy! Fun, Fun, Fun! Fun walk across and back

Beautiful and scary at night. Looking down at a pitch black 200ft drop.

It's the Golden Gate bridge. Beautiful. Iconic. Nothing more to say. If you don't know what the historical significance of this is, then look it up on Google. Only bad part, was paying a toll to get back to San Francisco.

If you visit California or you living here you need visit this place, walk this bridge, you can be enjoy a beautiful day here, it's no expensive if you eat here and they have Parking very close also they have free bus if you are tired to walk all day

Simply amazing. Walk through this bridge is exciting. Only one think: wind is really strong, every day, so cover well.

What to say, cool Bridge, great views, we walked it, very easy. wind not near as bad as I thought it would be.
Try to be there at sunset or sunrise.. pretty cool!

I really don t need to give reviews about this great place but yes few suggestions:
> Go to vista point for good views and pictures
> Go to Bakers island for beautiful views
> Try covering the spot during day hours and when it is sunny, avoid office hours. It gets really tricky and difficult during peak office hours

It's a nice bridge. The color is satisfying. It feels pretty long in traffic even though it doesn't look THAT long. Then you try to walk along it and realize it's actually pretty long. If you like walking and bridges and looking at San Francisco, it's a great way to spend the day. If not, you'll probably take some pictures then realize you want to do other things throughout the day and go somewhere else. Or maybe you'll use a bike. Those are nice too.

It really is a pretty cool bridge. But keep in mind it's just a bridge.

Ok, this is an engineering masterpeice in the most beautiful weather. But even mid week its a busy walk with plenty of tourists and cyclists. Just keep an eye over your shoulder to not get hit by a pushbike. The view of San Francisco is worth the walk.

Great view. Great walk across and back. Will be much better when construction is finished and it's not as crowded. View still amazing!

Love it but there was fog so I couldn't see it going over it and got sent a bill because there gates were closed but I still loved it

The 3-star review is solely because I've grown up around the area. Golden Gate is an unquestionable landmark, and it is nice to visit if you happen to be in the area. However, in my experience, I'd never go out to Sausalito solely to visit the Golden Gate. Most visits, the towers are engulfed in fog, and it's bitterly cold/windy if you want to walk across. Good exercise and great views, though. Your mileage may vary, but for me, I'm perfectly satisfied seeing it from a far distance.

I found that the evening to night time was awesome for photos. The yellow lights come on and make for a dope shot (depending on what the sky looks like). The portraits are wicked cool during that time.

When I go home I have to walk the Golden Gate Bridge, watch the fog roll in and see Francisco's statue. A must do. Plus a great view of Alcatraz/SF/Bay view. Spectacular!

It was such a breathtaking moment of my life when I crossed the bridge!

Awesome place and double awesome view. USA is so beautiful . Even the roads leading from my Hotel to the Golden Gate and the houses en route showed why USA is the No 1 Country on Earth. Beautiful.

Amazing tourist attraction with lots of ways to enjoy it from walking, biking or even using a motor bike if you choose to. There s great vantage points if you re the kind of person who loves taking pictures. It can get chilly so definitely bring a jacket.

This is a beautiful piece of architecture and something that you simply have to see! You can walk a crossed it while enjoying a great view of the city!

Golden Gate bridge is the landmark of San Francisco. It opened in 1937 to join San Francisco with Mill Valley, a suspension bridge on two giant pillars. It got it's name from Golden Gate Strait in San Francisco Bay. The bridge has 4200 foot long suspension span. Worth seeing this iconic bridge. I happen to visit it 7-8 times.

Love the bridge. Unfortunately it was pretty foggy this visit but has great views of the city.

Beautiful view overlooking the bridge and the city from the view point up the mountains. It's always chilly and windy up there so make sure there's a jacket or sweater handy.

Nothing good to say about this bridge except it's a beautiful piece of architectural history. I could look at it for hours, if I wasn't forced to because traffic is a nightmare. It takes all the beauty of the bridge and twists it and stomps the life right out of it Lots of people jump off this beauty every year. I think it's because they just can't take the traffic for another second. It's that bad.......

Way to loud to enjoy it fully. Bring a headset with you.

The walk across the bridge is wonderful! The views are spectacular, even if there's fog.

I've driven over it a hundred times, but to walk it is simply amazing. Decent parking and restrooms. The views are epic.

Good to jump from it after what you see in Tenderloin area (and east of SF in general)

The Golden Gate bridge is a must see if you visit San Francisco. Although I lived in SF years ago, every time I visit the bridge, I feel like I'm in another world. I'm so glad San Francisco has many free attractions such as the bridge because the city's beauty should be accessible to all visitors.

Its always a pleasure to walk along the bridge in company of your family and friends I definitely recommend it.

You can surf under the bridge at Fort Point! Always breezy & freezing, and loaded with tourists and traffic. Bring a sweater! !

Must go down the Fort Point that the view is brilliant. And there is a lot of parking space that you may consider to park the car there and climb up to the visitor Centre just the path is a bit steep

Must see attraction in SF. Cycle across for a great experience.

It's Golden Gate Bridge. Nothing else need to be said. Choose the vista point based on time of the day you are going here. North vista point will get you view of golden gate bridge with SFO downtown in backdrop. South side will give mountain in background. Be mindful of toll while crossing the bridge.

What an awesome experience especially being a bit skittish about heights. Absolutely worth it. Incredible view of the Bay and Pacific. Phone camera was working overtime.

It s a nice view crossing the bridge. After crossing the bridge you should go up one of the mountains for more pictures.

Very windy and colder than expected but amazing experience. Walked all the way from the harbour across the bridge but took a bus back to the city since our time was very limited in SF.

The bridge works. That's my main concern when rating a bridge. Looks like a bridge acts like a bridge. It was definitely a bridge. As far as bridges go it's a pretty great bridge. Stable.

A National Iconic Bridge you must pass through if visiting San Francisco! these pictures cannot compare when you see the bridge with our own eyes. Very Very Nice.

Such a breathtaking experience, even now a days when there is lots of modern architecture going on Golden Gate Bridge still has it own unique features. I love the sanitary view so magical.

It helps when the weather and traffic are on your side.
