Amazing view, nice weather.. like dreams.
The traffic is crazy, but once you reach there you feel that its worth it.

Big. Red. Noisy. Love walking across it and seeing it in person. I love the way it dominates everything there because it s so iconic. Tons of places to walk around and enjoy the scenery.

It's a bridge so it definitely met my expectations... Oh but it was cold.

Beautiful and fun to drive across or go to the Marin headlands on a day with no fog to view it.

Are you a fan of wonderful views and traffic as you are told "passing on your left/right" every 2 minutes? This is your place! And also the place of hundreds of hikers, trekkers and bikers who enjoy working out as they see the and artistic scenery of this metropolis. Don't get me wrong, this place is wonderful and you should definitely take a peripatetic approach to your visit (a public parking spot is mere luck) to enjoy its wonders. If you're going to San Francisco, remember to wake up early and avoid traffic and crowds.

Amazing engineering, the place is cold and windy so come prepared, and if the cold is too much for you then there is the round house Cafe for something warm. Walking across the bridge is a challenge everyone able, should be able to finish and add to their bucket list. Parking is not free

Fun spot to go to. It was extremely busy and parking can be tough. Once parked at at the welcome center, there are nice photo ops and great views from the edge of the hill. It can be cloudy or foggy, but beautiful when the skies are clear.

Great location and it was really a site to see. The place is maintained well and safety is ensured. I will visit again when I am in the area and is a sight recommened to is if you are hanging out with family and friends.

Iconic! I even saw whales while walking on the bridge. What a sensation!

It's all about the walk across. Bring ear muffs for the vehicle rumble. Breath taking views. The construction and maintenance of the bridge is fascinating. Restrooms on both sides. Really nice information center. Can't beat a visit there on a nice clear day.

I drove across the bridge and there was no fog or traffic, so it was a 4 star experience.

Was sure interesting to visit, and the walk across the bridge to the lookout point on the other side was worth it

One of the most iconic tourist attraction in San Francisco..... visit also Alcatraz and Pier 39 and you sorted.... the Bridge itself is even nicer than on photographs

Everytime I visit SF I make sure to walk on and drive thru Golden Gate Bridge.

Great landmark in San Francisco, it s amazing place to pass and enjoy some time over there. You can walk to feel the moment. I recommend to visit before sunset so you can catch the day time and night!!

It's an amazing place to stop by, grab some coffee and walk. Enjoy the cool breeze and beautiful scenery.

Iconic view of the bridge and some very informative information too. Nice little coffee shop with a view of the bridge and a nice gift shop. Just had to buy a bridge rivet as a keepsake.

A true marvel of engineering and an integral component of the American Landscape. I recommend getting out of your car and walking over the bridge to get the complete experience.

The Golden Gate Bridge is truly magnificent. Only such a bridge could enhance the natural beauty of the bay's Golden Gate. Having seen pictures of it my entire life, looking upon it now I am certainly still blown away.

Not a good place to jump, dint stick the landing so well, now all I need is math and science to become stephen Hawking do not rcomend for poor people the wheel chair and spine removal is expensive.

It's an icon! You can't miss a visit to the Golden Gate! It makes for epic pictures. Walking across it is the icing on the cake, however be prepared for a lot of confusion and gawking tourists. It's no where near a stress-free experience, but it's once in a lifetime.

This is just amazing. Suspension bridges dont get better than this. It's just the sheer scale of it that makes it impressive.

Pretty much the first landmark I've been to and that was back in 2005. The noise of traffic was what I loved the most. Basically this bridge is a piece of my childhood. When driving past, you will see loads of traffic trying to get to one place to the other, but it can get less busy. You can see lots of fog everywhere and you can see whales of you look west. This bridge is fantastic, and there is no bridge just like this one.

Been from the Verrazano to the Frisco and this bridge is spectacular!!!! Pictures and videos will do this bridge no justice I mean the absolute size of this bridge is enormous pretty cool place and some pretty cool views on both side if you go to San Francisco and do not go across this bridge you did not go to San Francisco

I went there in December, around sunset, and it was beautiful! Within a short span of 30 minutes I got the chance to see what the golden gate bridge is like in the day AND at night, and both are amazing.

The view I got was from an open space outsixe the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center. There are several other places to view the golden gate bridge from, and some are within a short walk from the welcome center, such as Fort Point and Crissy Field.

Always a site to see. It is breadth-taking from any angle and any light. Worth the drive, cycling, hiking, etc.

Its been showcased so many time in the movies, so visiting it feels a bit nostalgic though one's only had a vicarious experience.

A good photo op. One would not spend longer than 30 minutes here unless you are crossing the bridge (which takes 30minutes). The best shots of the bridge is not taken on the bridge but from crissy field. Check your weather forecast. The best times for photos are sunny days.

Amazing view and just a great place all in all. I even saw some dolphins from top of the bridge

Always a nostalgic feeling when we visit the bridge and cruise through the city

This historic bridge really is something special to look at. I have driven across this and been impressed but taking a walk, early morning run or bike ride is even more impressive. But for me the magnitude of this architectural wonder is best realized when sailing underneath it. No matter how you chooses to see this the most famous of all San Francisco landmarks you will be glad to have done so.

Fun to visit and is a must go see.... but filthy and inadequate bathroom facilities. Lineups for female and male bathroom /toilets. For such a major tourist spot you would hope that the facilities were at least decent.

Bridge is Beautiful! Traffic is horrific!! Be prepared to sit in traffic for an hour. Other than that our visit was fun

It was great to visit Golden Gate Bridge while my recent visit to San Francisco. Really enjoyed this place and had a nice experience.

It's so busy and we saw a fog while driving thru this. Pretty big bridge and if you go to the side you can definitely catch a good picture at the right time. Definitely a tourist spot too.

It's one of those places that you just have to go to at least once! The view of the waters and sail boats is lovely. Must see!

A beautiful bridge with best in class civil engineering during 1930's. The location has amazing interactive ways to explain the science behind making of this marvelous bridge. And to top it off San Francisco weather make it look pretty with vibrant colours on dusk and dawn.

I can't say anything that hasn't been said before. It was foggy and wet and scary and historic I thought of all the many souls who came before me. We got to see the lights come on that was cool. Also looking down was a bit more dramatic than I imagined.

If your looking to do the bridge on a nugget and want to get the most out of your visit there is a bus that you can get from near the market district that takes you either side of the bridge and even down into the town on the other side it also returns the same way

As a Civil Engineer, the bridge is a magnificent feat.

Awesome, windy, long hiking trails, tourists, beaches, scenic views, best to be properly outfitted. Long lines for public restrooms so handle your business before.
