Very well kept. If you go northbound you can park right before crossing for a small fee. It s metered and make sure you know what number spot you parked. The tickets print slow and lines get long waiting for your turn. They have restrooms and a small eatery. Gift shop was nice sized with many SF themed items. Pricey. Bridge is huge, loud and often fighting for walking space between bicyclists and runners.

I went there with my family & friends. We have been to both corner, first corner in night view and second corner in day view. Golden gate bridge was opened in May 27th, 1937. Nice place to take photos and selfie. Don't forgot to pay the fees in online if you passed through the bridge. Check out the photos.

Breathtaking experience. Highly suggest you take the small access road that will take you to see the view from high up. Make sure you have your camera ready because there are so many areas to get a great picture.

A must see, landmark of the area. Can been see from all over but you really appreciate the scale and importance of it once you see it for yourself. There is a small visitor center which has lots of interesting facts and additional information/books/gifts to purchase too.

I went to visit the Golden Gate Bridge after I saw it so many times on movies and TV shows. That was a great experience. The bridge is longer than the way the way you see it on TV. That was one of my favorite vacation.

The first few words that come to mind are... Beautiful, Breath taking, Majestic, Iconic, and Amazing. If you want to send your senses into overdrive take the time to experience the awe taking beauty of the Golden Gate bridge while in or traveling thru San Francisco. I actually was lucky enough to be heading up the coast up HWY 1 and as a result we got to drive across the bridge towards Marin for Free! The air and energy are worth checking out, not to mention the once in a lifetime views. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Great place!! What a view it is- either you drive or you walk this bridge will mesmerize you..

I along with few others in my family lost our way and because of construction back in 2018 June we went into a one way route and then couldn t find a way back- long story short we finally found how to get back to the bridge and hence we found another beautiful view from top of the hills near the bridge- OMg if you go there you must go to those hills and take a look to the bridge from there, I bet you won t ever want to come back.

First time here. Absolutely loved it! Walked across from one end to the other. Pedestrians walk.both ways on one side and bikes on the other. Great experience although it was slightly overcast when I went. The ends of the bridge can get pretty crowded with cars or taxis and ride sharing vehicles. Public restrooms at either ends are also favorable. If given the chance I mean if I returned to the bay area I would probably come back as well and I definitely recommend to anyone who has not been before.

If you make it to San Francisco, you simply must visit the bridge and walk through it. It's one of the most breathtaking views I have ever experienced in my life. I walked from Pier 39 and was seeing a lot of tourist attractions along the way. The walk along the beach was amazing. It was a little chilly but sunny... So I was completely surprised when I saw people swimming. But it works for some. I walked more than 6 miles to get to that bridge. After I got to it.. I had to take a moment and just soak it all in. Loved every moment of it. I'd definitely recommend you take the walk and experience everything great about this. You won't regret it. You will love the view from the top.

This was a very invigorating morning walk! I went around 8 o'clock and it wasn't busy but there was a steady stream of cyclists and a few joggers. Along the way there were places where those who might need encouragement could call for support. I thought the line at the end was most uplifting: "There is hope."

Touristy, but worth the visit. Cross over the bridge to the other side to get some of the better views with the city in the background. Most people walk or bike the bridge. Would recommend going up the hill as you go over the bridge on the left so the best views!

Walking over the bridge and the views associated with the walk was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip to California! We made it up to the Battery Spencer above the bridge to catch an even better view of the bridge and the rest of the bay and that was well worth the trip as well! We wished we could have walked on the other side of the bridge to head back towards town because the sun was setting over the open water of the ocean, but that side was reserved for strictly bicycle riders.

This is iconic and is a must do if you are in San Francisco. The bridge has a history and the views from the bridge are amazing.
The bridge can be explored by foot or by hiring a bicycle from any of the shops. And if you are hiring a bicycle you can also go down to the next town of Sausalito for a quick lunch and return on the ferry. One also crosses the bridge to go to Napa valley. But more tha. Driving the fun is in exploring it on foot. One can park at the fort point and walk up.

OK, listen I will admit the view was great, but i sat there for about three hours just trying to make a nice stop motion thingy, but every 2 minutes an douche would photo bomb me while jumping off the bridge. :(

Legendary bridge in city. I suppose one of the most recognizable bridge in the wold. We were lucky, the weather was sunny, without fogs, and we coud admire of this grandiose and huge construction. Very nice territory is around the bridge. From another side from bridge, you also can watch famous Alcatraz. Highly recommend for visiting.

Does not disappoint. From the loud cars driving on the bridge, to the busy sidewalk crowded with bikes and pedestrians, to the serenity of the parks surrounding it. Lots of energy all around. Don't forget your jacket and watch out for fog

Walked the whole thing just to feel the wind. It's kind of a magical feat when you think about all the thousands of thin wires that where placed their by individuals risking their lives to have a job. Just so we could all hope to see an otter or marvel at a outdoor sportsman ride the wind, or complain about chilly air & traffic.
Worth the steps.

It's impressive. I'm not even a person who gets excited by bridges or other such structures, but Golden Gate bridge is just really cool in person. There is a visitor center here along with parking, food, drink, walking trails, etc.
