Once upon a time in this hotel room was small and the business hotel category at least accordingly.

In any case, the intermezzo-bar may well be called impudence. may stylistically impress them a bit (oldschool lobby, crystal chandelier), the staff, the choice of drinks, the quality of the same, the "music" are consistently so subterranean that my three stars can certainly be seen as friendliness.
absolute no-go!

The intercontinental Vienna was the worst experience I had ever in many years of staying at the IHG hotels. The check was sloppy and arrogant despite me being a Spire Ambassador member. No questions asked about whether I would like to receive the welcome amenity points or a complimentary drink... all they wanted to insist is that I must pay my breakfast even if I am upgraded to a junior suite... no courtesy or greetings

I had the misfortune of missing my airline bags and hence checked in just with my laptop bag...they promptly took my airline confirmation and the boarding pass to collect my luggage when the Airline delivers the bag... however as soon as I took a shower and went away they checked me out without my knowledge... yes you heard it right.... they just checked out ... and when my airline called they said I already checked out and the airline didn t deliver the bags because of that.... and when I come back in the evening at about 4Pm I was told I had already been checked out... I said as a Spire Elite member I am allowed a late check out at 4 and how can you can you check me out without even calling me or sending me a message... and now the shocking part is they threw my new Versace Tie that I bought at the airport...( Euro 130)... my medicines Otrivin, Avamis, Cataflam these were prescribed my ENT doctor as I had severe infection in the ear and these are supposed to help me fly comfortably... and my book, A Wella hair gel and few other hand written notes ....and the response from the duty manager Ms Carina was super appaling... we normally check people out when there is only some stuff left in the room( this gentlemen after informing them that I missed my bags from the airline and they took copies of it)

When I asked how can someone throw my books and a new tie... and Medicines... they located a my book and slowly... they located my tie dirty and picked up from a garbage bin...so unhygienic... only a blind person can throw a new vercase tie sealed and packed neatly in a Versace bag into a garbage bin... and when I was furious , the lady Carina asks for my prescription to get me the medicines... all my hand written notes which is invaluable to me is all lost....

Never before I had such a bad experience from the Intercontinental... I am Gold member in Club Carlson and Platimum in beatbox western... apparently IHG must be thinking I am hooked to IHG or dependent on IHG... there are more options and they should know.... its clear the GM to the House keeping lady all share the same philosophy to hell with the customer let s check them out and sell the room to the next foolish customer who comes here... Overall a very bad experience and the final icing on the cake is someone wanted to bribe me by adding 10,000 points to my IHG rewards club points.... I am ready to donate 100,000 points if you can return me my medicines on time to avoid the unnecessary suffering I had to go through during my flight... a street side cheap motel would treat the customers better than this .... shame on you Intercontinental Vienna and shake on you IHG

Although during our stay in Vienna this time we were not guests of the hotel, the staff and the service as well as the helpfulness on site to help us, were excellent, very courteous and extremely friendly. Many Thanks

The location and food were amazing. I gave the four stars primarly because of the staff not the property. They remembered my name, and did everything possible to ensure I was enjoying myself. I've stayed in Vienna before and this property was slightly more dated and not quiet elegant. I am so happy the staff and food were excellent it was the saving grace for this stay. Thank-you to you all.

My family stayed in a deluxe room for 3 days. The room was spacious but the bathroom was small. The interior of the hotel is old in general. The staff were friendly.
The St. Stephen's Cathedral was a 15-minute walk, and there was a citizen park opposite the hotel where you could take a leisurely stroll during your empty trip.

Very nice hotel with woody decor. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom too small however.
The breakfast is delicious with a very large choice.
Coming around Christmas time, the decorations were linked to this holiday.
The hotel is central so very well placed

Nice location, great service, and breakfast... but the entire interior (lobby, elevators, rooms, lounge, furniture) is outdated: faded and drab. Not on par with other intercontinental hotels in other countries

It is a nice hotel with a well educated employee. The exterior is outdated, but the hotel is elegant and luxurious. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The statue of Johann Strauss is close.
The "Kuasalon Vienna" where tourists can enjoy classics is in front of the hotel.

The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom faucet can be drunk directly in the cold water, it is quite sweet, the choice of breakfast is also very delicate, the room is very warm but it feels too dry.

Lobby is very pretty but the rooms are out dated and small compared to other Intercontinental I have stayed. No iron available in the room and had to call the front desk. Location is excellent.

Staff is old school, well dressed and attentive.
The bar is really beautiful. A fantastic hotel bar with a charming ambience any time of the year.

Visted for the Christmas Markets. Convenient location, close to explore Vienna and near the CAT airport train station. Clean, tidy and attentive staff. There was a genuine christmas gingerbread house in the lobby and the hot chocolate was gorgeous. Would stay again.

We were at this hotel a few weeks ago and it is pretty good, close to the center, very friendly staff and willing to help in any way possible. Very clean, I was surprised by the bathroom and the bathtub, since usually in hotels there is usually mold, cal..etc..here everything was spotless. The only thing is that it is a fairly old hotel and it shows. The only downside that I put, is that for my taste the mattress and the pillow was a bit uncomfortable .. but well everyone has their tastes, otherwise I put 5 stars, welcome detail, TV with chromecast is a good idea.

Very classy atmosphere, we visited the Ash Wednesday buffet with champagne, great selection of fish dishes, small fish chops with lobster, herring and much more. The dessert buffet was also sensational and appealed to many taste components
