Well located in the center of the city, next to the subway and close to the city airport train. Super friendly staff, wonderful rooms and a great bar to close a day. A great 5* experience in Vienna. Also try restaurant Steirereck which is close to the hotel, top ten restaurant worldwide.

The Intercontinental Vienna was an excellent hotel.
It easily handled the conference we were attending.
Check in and check out were very easy, the staff spoke great English.
The food was great. Each morning i ate at the included buffet, and it was excellent with a full suite of American and Continental offerings. The omelet bar was particularly nice.
The bar area food was also good. I had the Wiener schnitzel and it was excellent.
Stadt park is across the street and make a great location for exercise or just a nice walk.

Personally, I am already a bit tired, it could use a renovation

A very nice upscale and expensive hotel. They were very willing to make accommodations and the happy hour on the club level was superb.

The bar area is very nice. The jazz evening on 19.12.19 was unfortunately a disappointment.

The InterContinental Vienna has been lovely. The staff was great, as was my room. I overlooked the winter skating rink and I could see many landmark buildings from my room. The location was perfect from me. It is literally across the street from the underground and is less than a mile from most of the Christmas Markets and Central Vienna. It has been a great experience, especially for the price, and I would stay again if future travels bring me back. My only complaints are the bathroom counter freaked when I leaned on it and there were no foam pillows.

An excellent hotel located in close proximity of city centre. One stop by tube to Wien Mitte and direct shuttle to Vienna Airport. The hotel has the regular 5* hotel amenities. The club lounge is great, so it is worth to ask for an upgrade ... and the breakfast in main restaurant, is probably the best I ever had, in any 5 star hotel.

Very nice and clean. Optimal position in front of the metro.

Great location but not very impressed with the interior in the rooms. A bit too outdated and needs a renovation. The air condition was that loud, that I couldn't sleep well (the room got too hot with the AC switched off). The breakfast however was fantastic.

Can't say enough great things about this hotel. The staff was above and beyond at every occasion and we were treated like VIPs the entire time. We also received a room upgrade during our second week there and I couldn't be happier with the size and layout of the room. I wish I could stay another week. The best service from Julia, Claudia, and Elisabeth!! Thank you so much for the best Vienna vacation after not being here in 15 years and moving from here at a very young age you remind me why this place always felt like home. See you soon!

Intercontinental luxury, impeccable, but horrible building architecture, which is an offense to the harmony of this beautiful city. An example of "eco monster".

Restaurant on 31.12 at 23:00 was a horrible example how chief cook and his staff did not care about group of 20 people - dishes old, horrible taste and not cleaning tables from non consumed soup with disgusting taste for half an hour... (this way welcoming New Year)
Main dish (heated up in microwave sh**, served at 00:30) was also so horrible that 2 stars is two too much!
Will never recommend this hotel to anybody !!

Old, dirty. It feels like the last renovation was in the time of Marie Antoinette. Breakfast is very mediocre.

This hotel was definitely worth the 5-star rating. Beautiful interior, spacious rooms with nice views of the city, and a western style that makes me (as an American) feel at home.

The bed was comfortable and the free WiFi was fast; no need to pay for the higher WiFi. Watch out on the mini fridge as the prices are high (there's also a fee for emptying the mini fridge to keep in mind). The breakfast buffet really stood out with an impressive variety with cuisine from different parts of the world. Food was slightly salty but very fresh.

Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved having a location so close to the park (across the street) and not far from the Hop on Hop off bus to see the city.

Traditional hotel for Vienna. I always stay here. When travelling a lot, this hotel does not change. That is both positive and negative. For now, it remains a benefit !

The location is great. The food is brilliant. The interior is expected for this category of hotels. The service is good and the staff is very friendly.

Before the concert dinner in the restaurant of the InterContinental, not cheap but 5 different dishes and all excellent, drink prices but totally excessive!

Great for the reputation of the InterContinental Hotel. Luckily, I was able to stay for one day during my trip to Europe. It wasn't easy to use a luxury hotel in Europe unless it was in Southeast Asia where the price was cheap because of the usual budget, but it was a good opportunity.
The breakfast was great and the location was great, so accessibility was great.
The classic interior decoration, the finest amenities, and the delicacy that welcomes you with the guest's name when you turn on the TV... even though it was one night, I was able to spend a luxurious day. Next time I come to Vienna, I'd like to stay again.
