Strange! If you want to experience the Cold War again with worn 50s charm, then the bar is unbeatable.

Very nice hotel friendly atmosphere and friendly staff within the hotel has a large ice rink.

Courtly and elegant hotel. Excellent and very kind service to guests. Great breakfast Lounge in 12th floor is superb. However, very noisy corridors from 7am (I am in 11th floor). The doors close making a lot of noise (room service and other guests seem to be used to this), so you will probably sleep with no need for a wake up call.

Elegant hotel The service and attention are excellent, of its category. The breakfast, fantastic. The Lounge on the 12th floor is spectacular and cozy. The only thing, very noisy corridors from 7 in the morning (I'm in the 11th). The doors make a lot of noise when closing (other guests and the room cleaning service seems to give them equal). It is not necessary to call an alarm, because with noise it is enough.

Worst experience. I won't use it again.
Carpets and broken walls that appear to have never been cleaned. Even the oldest hotels were not maintained at all.
I asked for cleaning again, but there were still ant corpses on the carpet, only a vase of apples. Formal service is just a shame.
I guess if the room grade is good, you can get good service.

The hotel looks like from the past. What I don't find bad in this case despite the many marble and brass. It's solid, it slows down and it's cozy. The studio suite is spacious and has a beautiful view. Very good offer in the Club Lounge. Perfect service from all employees I came into contact with. Very good cocktails in the bar!

It's a five-star, but old building with a poor structure.

Absolutely accommodating and appreciative great hotel

Near the city center, there are shopping and sightseeing places nearby. Near public transport and metro station. The room has a beautiful view of the park, although it is a little less, but nice and well maintained, professional staff, the gentleman has nothing, with luck in further work

Very welcoming front desk personnel, great location, rather spacious guest rooms, fine sleeping quality and enriched breakfast buffet! Only one but = number of interior elemts & things requires refurbishment, while looks too well used

Elegant and classical all wrapped into one with fine service and food. The breakfast served in the morning is nothing but spectacular. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable I give this place with two thumbs up I wish I had three thumbs.

When you walk through the door you are transported into a world of old school charm and elegance.The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel .

Great location, very nice hotel and room. Ultra full breakfast. Good ... At the same time considering the tariff it is not very surprising. But still !

InterContinental Vienna is just opposite to Stadtpark train station. I would recommend this hotel for business, solo and family travellers due to it's excellent location in City Centre. The major attractions of City Centre are at walking distance from the hotel. It also has good connectivity to airport by train from Landstrasse and tram service for exquisite experience of Vienna city.

My favorite location when it comes to a small after-work dinner.

The Intermezzo Bar offers food until late at night (I think until 1:30 a.m.) and a great selection of drinks until 2 a.m.

The staff is really good and old school.

I think that the best recommendation you can see on the picuters. I stayed there for 11 (yes, eleven) nights and I could not wait to leave this place. I have no idea why this hotel is so expensive (average amount for one night was 200 EUR without breakfast). It is old and destroyed, but what is more annoying is that you are informed that your Bed will be changed every third day... My bed was changed only twice during whole time, but ok... Maybe it is small thing. Mineral water... In the begging of my stay every day I get fresh bottle of mineral water, but in the end even empty bottle was standing on the table. Shoe shine sponge... It is nice that you have it in your room, specially during cold period you can clean your shoes, but what if the cleaning staff will take the old sponges and will not replace it with new one? I was waiting three days - on third I just went to the reception and ask for it. Glasses... If you think that you need all of those which you had when you arrived you are wrong... Amount of glasses will decrease during your stay. I love when I have cotton pads and ear sticks in the hotel as a standard bathroom equipment, but if is not refilled after few days you are wondering what is going on. Noise is so ridiculous... You are able to here a lot of neighbors, pipes, water, TV etc. Good things: location, comfortable bed and tasty water in the tap.
The summary: I felt like a person who was there too long and even cleaning service was showing it.
I do not recommend this Hotel. Next time I will choose different one.

Great location, as it is close but not too busy. Sadly the hotel is a bit tired and has seen better days. Staff where courteous and helpful.

My experience at the InterContinental was top notch. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from Stadtpark with easy connections to the Ubahn.

The hotel staff is kind, courteous and very helpful. I had the advantage of staying in a Studio Suite with access to the Club Level. The room was spacious and well appointed and the welcoming gift of water and pastries was a nice touch after a our train ride.

It was wonderful to take advantage of the facilities on the 12th floor and the staff there were fantastic. Special thanks to Ferdinand who was able to secure dinner reservations for us at the last minute.

I hope to make this hotel my home away from home the next time I m in Vienna.

Was just there for a Meeting with a client in the morning. They have a great atmosphere with a great continental breakfast. Liked it and will come back again.

Classically design hotel, complete with chandeliers and high ceilings. There's a 24/7 gym, with steam and sauna. The instructors are exceedingly helpful. The hotel is opposite a very nice park, and a theatre which has musical performances every evening. It's about 5-10mins walk away from the historical city center (and the St Stephens cathedral).

It's ok, but everything needs an update. Rooms are a bit outdated. Curtains, wallpaper need refreshing.

There were two excellent nights in this hotel where you could enjoy good pleasant climate, the staff in general was very nice especially in the breakfast area very accommodating and nice. The only problem that unfortunately I always could not sleep well and that had a negative impact on my stay, on the one hand the neighbors were very close to our room with their families, on the other hand there was very noisy self-employed group which was just not bearable! Vlt one has to ask, who sleeps around one! I would like to visit the hotel again if the guests would be more pleasant and I would get a room more roomy! Thank you. Yours sincerely.

A very nice traditional hotel with excellent service6

Excellent hospitality. The suite rooms are huge and comfortable. They are well appointed. The bar is good with a nice collection of whiskies..

Classic hotel, super hotel with staff who are so experienced they know everything if in doubt of what to do and eat.

Good location. Large suites. Friendly service. No swimming pool and old decor. Feels ready for renovations.

At a great place, warmly staffed. Recommendation for the weekend
