Costly place, but well worth it for the facilities and service! Would highly recommend, especially if you're visiting the O2 for a show of any kind. Be sure to make a reservation at the bar on the 18th floor though as it gets busy later in the evening and they're capped on the number of guests they are allowed up there

Beautiful setting, remarkably quiet and serene. Feels very predicable big international hotel clean (sterile?). WiFi was very disappointing throughout. Beyond that, good location for corporate event.

The hotel in itself was good. However the treatment from staff was unacceptable. The hostile and unwelcoming behaviour was not expected from one of the staff/manager at an event taking place there.

Arrived Monday morning for a two day team meeting and after the lead booker checked us all in we used the Club Lounge for our meeting. Great service, lunch, (average, why don't chefs take tomatoes out of the fridge when the dish is a tomato salad? Heritage? Might as well have been big standard Dutch toms, so cold and hard they were totally tasteless) refreshments, afternoon tea (good selection of tasty posh sandwiches and cakes) and early evening canapes and alcohol drinks included. Michelin restaurant closed on a Monday night so had dinner in the Market Brasserie. Slow night. Service was faultless, food okay. Love the gym and pool facilities. Rooms spotless, bed and pillows on the soft side for me. I would recommend. Just a few things need tweaking.

For out 10th anniversary my Wife and I spent a relaxing time at the Intercontinental the O2. Overall it was an amazing expeiance. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, the Peninsula Restaurant was well staffed and the food was delicious, our room was pretty high up with a fantastic view across the river and the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. We spent the evening in Eighteen, The Sky Bar, on the top floor, which has an even better view of the river and the London skyline at dusk, and of the O2 dome itself from the terrace. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

Wonderful hotel! Beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet. I recommend getting Club Lounge access. If you use the breakfast, snacks and other opportunities to eat that come with it, you will not regret it.
The pool and spa are also very nice.
From the nearby North Greenwich underground station it takes only 15 minutes to get to the centre of London.

Beautiful building, fantastic view for me...I know it isnt to everyones taste. I was at a TES Expo, very well presented workshops. Not sure why one workshop was in the same place as the stalls, made it difficult to hear the speakers. Not many stalls of schools and companies but thoes that made an effort were very good and made everyone feel welcome. You didnt have to be looking for a job to attend. There were some insightful discussions about the future of education in the UK both in and out of the workshops.

I visited the Meridian Lounge for afternoon tea prior to a show at the 02 arena. The hotel is well placed for transport facilities and has direct tunnel access to the 02 arena. I have visited on a number of occasions and the food and service was impeccable as usual. My only qualm is the set price for afternoon tea had risen quite a bit since my last visit but still an enjoyable experience.

This is a nice hotel. If all you cared about is a comfortable room to sleep you'd be set. If you look a little deeper it starts to tarnish. If you're here for a great hotel experience you'll likely end up not thrilled. I've attached some pictures of my room and the amazing view. Of the air conditioning unit. That is the only view, no matter which window you use. I passively let the hotel know I was less than happy by clicking a 5/10 during wifi setup survey and was impressed by how quickly they called my room to see if they could improve the situation. They told me my room was already upgraded. I joked the previous room must have had a view of the trash bin. In any case, a 5 star hotel should not have any rooms with this kind of view. They should make it a maintenance storage or for staff temporary lodging. This was just greed trying to squeeze out one more room and it was reflected by things like cheap fixtures in the shower- chrome painted plastic. If I just needed a place to stay the night, it's fine and the staff are very friendly. But from my experience I wouldn't recommend it for more than that.

Had afternoon tea. Best service ever!!! We were attended to by Razvan, who was an absolute pro! Gave us all the information and had brilliant manners. The teas and food was just exquisite. Definitely the best I've been to.

My first visit to this hotel on Friday 20/12/19 such friendly and efficient staff. I stayed in Room 918 and my only son got married in the Riverview Suite the next day. I was dressing and found I could not fully do up my dress and the lovely South African staff member cleaned her hands and helped me. Such a kind caring lady and I felt so confident in this new role with her complimentary comments and I so grateful to this lady. I found the other staff from the entrance to the buffet staff for breakfast and front lobby staff helping us with my disabled Mum the best. The Portuguese gentleman, I think Alfa on Sunday morning a great help to us. The staff in Riverview Suite made this special Wedding Day even better. My thanks to all your helpful, friendly and caring staff from the Mother of the Groom on 21/12/19.

Awesome hotel with one very minor but so frustrating annoyance

First, the amazing. Vladimir in the sky bar spent two nights making some of the best cocktails I have ever tasted. He was friendly and incredibly articulate, and was able to give me the history of the different cocktails and alcohols. The supervisor in the sky bar was also amazing, and was able to secure a window seat for myself and my guest. In the bar on the 1st floor TongTong was great, and allowed me to practice my mandarin.

Second, the 'to be expected and did not disappoint'. The rooms are as one would expect from a tier 1 city IC. Great views, good size, fantastic amenities, good number of sockets, etc. I didn't use the pool or spa on this stay however I have on previous stays and they are both good (although the pool does lack natural light imo).

Unfortunately the food did disappoint (and ruined the stay slightly). The first night I had the 300g aberdeen steak and I ordered it blue. It came out medium at best and nowhere near even rare. The manager apologised and said he had spoken to the chef and he also mentioned that the cooking implement quickly achieves a high temperature and that it is difficult to get a steak blue. Fair enough but perhaps shouldn't have taken the order, or at least have given me a heads up in advance. The manager offered to comp a dessert but I wasn't intending on eating a dessert and certainly wasn't going to eat one for the sake of it. I then went to the sky bar and began drinking heavily (what's a scotsman to do - I have the reputation of a nation to uphold). At some point I ordered a side of fries and they came covered in......truffle. Promptly sent back with a message for the chef to behave himself and after a while a second lot of fries arrived. The second night I went to the same restaurant on the first floor and this time ordered the burger, and after getting it and eating about a quarter it really tasted awful. Closer examination showed it was covered in......truffle mayonaise. The manager apologised and offered me another which I eventually accepted but I only ate half as I was already partially full from the first one. Honestly, the truffle on everything was exhausting and frustrating. IC is about fine dining, but there's nothing fine dining about drowing fries in stuff that looks and tastes like earth.

Will I stay again? Probably, but if I do I definitely won't be eating anything. If a manager reads this, thank Vladimir and Tongtong as without them this stay would have been totally ruined; then go check the chef doesn't own shares in a truffle distributor.

Stayed here several times since it opened, consistently high quality and professional, but still seems to be finding its feet as the staff don't have the assured confidence of most intercontinental hotels

If you expect a 5-star luxury hotel of international standards - then you will be disappointed.

Lots of staff who were always nice (except for the security staff who lacked guest focus). The general feeling, however, is that the staff is governed by rules and lacks its own authority. Do not expect anyone to remember your name or even that you live in the hotel.

Spacious rooms, with nice views mainly in the evening. Unfortunately, the room was not cleaned during the day (but only later in the evening), even though it was booked. Relatively sensitive between the rooms and the corridor. Good ventilation and comfortable beds. Low quality shampoo and lotion included, so bring your own products.

The breakfast buffet is relatively low standard with dry cheese / charcuterie, disposable packaging, prefab croissants, juice of concentrate, etc. Order your choice of coffee immediately when you sit down, otherwise it can be difficult to get attention later. The window seats at breakfast are reserved for some other, probably more significant guests or guests with a higher room category (never got an answer to that).

Access to the Spa is included. The spa area consists of a large / long / cool pool and two saunas. Hard atmosphere with a lot of echo, which does not match the decor of the more intimate spa reception. Bathrobes were missing in the room. Was not available via the Spa reception, but was solved via the regular reception.

The gym is large and well ventilated. Towels, fruit and newspapers are also available. Great opportunities to run outdoors along the water.

The bars do not use fresh fruit / ingredients in the drinks, so choose something else. Unfortunately, the wine list is very limited.

Difficult to be allowed to visit the rooftop bar (Eighteen Sky Bar) if you are more than 6 people. Also closes already at midnight.

Large and airy in the lower bar (Clipper Bar), but if you are more than four, you can move armchairs together on your own.

Outdoor seating on the ground floor. However, with limited service, which means that you need to go in to order and tell if you want empty glasses removed from the table. "Japanmix" is included as a snack in all bars.

Long transfer by taxi from Heathrow, about 1.5 hours. To central London about 1 hour. Located close to The O2 Arena and bus / metro station.

Nice and clean rooms! Good breakfast too but the location is a bit far from central so it's only recommended if you plan on spending your time in O2 otherwise prepare for long tube journeys. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool is not that great but it's nice if you'd like some relaxing time. The 18th floor skybar has nice views, good for some evening drinks.

Perfect choice for New Year celebration. Stunning views from guestroom not to mention multiple fireworks could be spotted from across the Thames to further north. Afternoon tea at Meridien Lounge was among the best we have had in London. Breakfast could not seriously be better, just like those in any other Intercontinental hotels worldwide. Together with quality service, this is a hotel we would consider returning to for special occasions in the near future.

Rooms are spacious but so are the prices! The immediate area is a bit like an abandoned industrial estate so if you're without a car you will be a bit isolated... Services first class food is Ok

Very good business hotel with a professional look. I was in connection with a big event there. This would be handled very well.
Not an individual hotel with charm - but certainly a good thing among the big business hotels.

Great location for the 02. Nicely appointed rooms. Had a fab weekend enjoying great Spa facilities, topped off with a delightful afternoon tea themed around Thunderbirds and Lady Penelope. Good breakfast buffet and friendly staff.

The hotel was amazing, luxurious and affordable. It was a great place to stay overnight after going to a concert in the O2.
There is a small walkway that connects the hotel to the O2 which is really helpful when coming out after a concert when it's dark and you don't want to have to walk all the way around.

Definitely recommend if in the area for a concert or just visiting.

On top of that, staff were really friendly, and I'd booked a hotel room that didn't have a Thames view, but we got one anyway.

High spec modern hotel. Bar on the 18th floor has great views over the Thames, with good, friendly service and reasonably priced given the location. Hotel is a bit difficult to get to by foot, more of a walk than you'd expect and not well signposted. Had a great time having drinks with friends, enjoying the view and atmosphere.

Nice view, nice interior. Got room facing stream and I was satisfied. Nice staff, easy check in. Near to The O2, near underground north greenwich station. Indoor swimming pool. Provide shutter service to O2/ North greenwich station

Amazing hotel! The staff were extremely helpful, especially one of the concierges, Suraj. He had some great tips for things to see and do while visiting. If you stay here, ask for Suraj and he will make sure you have a great time

Sitting in the Meridian Lounge right now where Razvan has poured me the best glass of water. I am not even joking. When tap water looks and tastes this good you're going to have to call security to get me to leave.

Very large clean room with good in-room facilities and an excellent view across the river. However, I found it difficult to enter the hotel due to the impenetrable fence around it with little signposting towards the entrance. Friendly and helpful staff. I found the pillows to be a bit uncomfortable and the air con too loud.

Great if you have business is in/around the o2, otherwise you're miles from anywhere.

Rooms are decent, as you'd expect for the price.

Bars are good, but very expensive, as you'd expect.

Gym is decent for a hotel. If you catch it while it's quiet, it's great.

Beautiful room and great location just a few mins walk from the O2. We made use of the lovely swimming pool, sauna and steam room. We had a lovely peaceful nights sleep and beds are really big and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
