I was pleased with the hotel! The entrance is very convenient, the parking is spacious, the staff is polite and responsive, the kitchen in the restaurant is just chic ... My opinion is that everything is fine!

Very comfortable room and environment... Particularly if you have status. Excellent area in Almaty. Extensive breakfast spread and great club service. Absolutely recommend if you have club status.

Clean and well decorated rooms with quality amenities. Gym is OK with a small sized pool.

Great place, but personnel is not that friendly. I had two particular cases which made me really question how they are client oriented business: 1. First day we're offered lunch at their Asian restaurant. When we got there a lady literally blocked the door and said that we were late for the lunch hour, which finishes by 3 pm. We were there at 2.52 pm. 2. Accidently I got into a Spa area looking for a restroom. Lady there again blocked me to go to the restroom stating that it is only for guests. I had to take my hotel card out of my pocket and showed to her. In both cases the behaviour was quite unfriendly

EXceptional. Maybe the best hotel. Best Hotel in Almaty. I stayed every hotel in Almaty. But i have never stayed such a wonderfull hotel in Almaty. Exceptional.

There are no pluses, only minuses .... the price does not match the quality ... the room is cold ... I do not recommend anyone ... !!!

It was only at conferences. Like the main room and coffee breaks, a buffet for lunch.

A Hotel that carries the best we can find, always having in mind the culture of Kazakhstan. Simply gorgeous and with all the conditions to feel at home. The staff is very attentive and ensures that the stay and meals are the best.

Elevator wait a long time, otherwise everything is not bad, I recommend, the service is excellent!

taxi srvice is terrible. even my pick-up was scheduled a week agi, I have waited for more than half an hour for the taxi in the airport after a seven hours of flight. reception staff did not care about the situation. computers in the business center does not work, so that print out is impossible. breakfast is too weak. hams are deadly fried. tv does not work properly. besides, when I have written all these problems through their web site, I have received an apology letter which was not so far than an auto-generated response.

Highly recommended! I booked the Intercontinental Almaty based on recommendation from a friend (who's an attorney and in the oil & gas business) that travels to Almaty a lot on business. I was quite happy and enjoyed the place so much I didn't really want to leave. Visited Almaty for the first time in late summer, and this was my first experience with a hotel in Kazakhstan. Excellent staff, very kind, respectful and friendly, also multi lingual. Rooms are very nice with a comfortable bed. I loved the beautiful spacious lobby with the piano. The entire place is very classy, I felt like I was back in the States and staying at one of my favorite classic style, 4 - 5 star hotels. Very good internet service. Amazing breakfast. If you're traveling to Almaty for business or pleasure, I give it my utmost recommendation, will make your stay more enjoyable.

The location of hotel is wonderful and gives a amazing view of the city Almaty including the giant wheel on the mountain top. Comfortable place and staff is wonderful

The hotel is good, not to say that the best hotel in the world, it is still necessary to develop and improve, the prices for accommodation are too high, as are all hotels in Kazakhstan (I wonder when we come to this golden ratio price - quality?). We chose this hotel because TripAdvisor had information that when booking a room, the airport transfer service was provided free of charge, however, after the payment we found out that the service was abolished and the information was not corrected. And I was also very surprised that for 70,000 tenge per day per room, breakfast is not free, but it costs another 50 USD per person. Review your pricing policy, gentlemen.

A great place for business conferences, a good restaurant and cozy rooms. The staff is responsive, responds quickly to requests, and also sings to evaluate the appearance.

Was at an open seminar. Good organization. Comfortable ballroom. Two large presentation screens and good sound. Comfortable seats, space for communication. Parking.

Nice and cozy atmosphere in the public areas. Food is available 24h.
Rooms are a bit dated in the day (therefore only four stars), but clean and well maintained!
Staff is very polite!

Extremely caring staff, very convenient location. Walking distance to park and shopping. We stayed at the executive suite and enjoyed the club lounge and fantastic breakfasts.

A cozy and quiet hotel. It is very similar in interior to a hotel in Delhi (India), and in appearance to a Hotel in Bangkok. Well, the staff, responsive and sociable. Of the minuses, I want to note the lack of a mini-bar in the room, and any trinkets in the bathroom rylno, soap, as well as bathrobes. But the lack of this may be due to quarantine ...
