Good morning Sir
My name is Esam Jarrah and am from Jordan
I came to yogyakarta to study bahasa indonesia for three months knowing that my study will cost me more than 12000 $ but unfortunately at the airport they didn't accept to give VOA so I took only a visa for 30 days and then I have to leave for Malaysia and be back
I had a letter from the school where am studying and the send it for the embassy in Kuala Lumpur and I had it with me when I came
The school told me that other persons they had the visa at the same day
I brought with me all the documents that you need to give the visa but the employees told me that I can't have it at the same day and I have to come at the next day
I asked to have the visa only for two months until I finish my study but he didn't accept to give it for more than one month and he said I don't believe that you are coming to study in Indonesia and maybe the school have you the letter only because you paid money !!!!!!!
Am not lei sir he said I don't know but here we have our opinion
I don't know if he thought that am coming to work in Indonesia or what
Didn't he saw my passport full of visas for Europe and other countries?
I told him that I work as Italian professional tour guide in Jordan and in Italy
He told me you can go to immigration after this month and take it from.them and the school have to make it for you!!!!

Why I have to waste my time and my money to go in immigration while you can give me the social culture visa?
Am living in jojgjakarta since one month and I found a family here because the people are so kind but sorry at the embassy I didn't find the respect from this person

Came early morning around 8am to apply for business visa. Got number and wait for 9am counter to open. Very fast service once it is your turn. Staff is very polite. 5 stars.

Arrived at 8am to wait for opening of Info Counter at 9am.But the window didn't open at 9am.Instead i was told to go off with no explanation.I wanted to ask a few questions at the information window but for whatever reason was not allowed.All I wanted to know was whether it is true that the quarantine at Surabaya is to be paid for by the maid at a cost of Rm2000.

Take all the copy and prints that u need before u go there, the shops near there charge 5RM for 1 page !!!!

Send passport for renewal . Its been 2 weeks still no news !!!! Not efficient at all !!!

We arrived at the embassy around 8.30 am on 19/2/19. We were told all the running numbers for the day were finished and a new batch of numbers will be given at 11 pm. The same night we arrived at the embassy early and my wife lined up by 10.20 pm to get the number. We were told by the security in the morning that the counter will be opened at 11 pm and numbers will be given out. The crowd were getting bigger and bigger every hour. Until 1.30 am, there were still no announcement whether the counter will be opened to release the running numbers. My wife lost her patience and was frustrated by the unprofessional work personnel who did not even bother to make any announcement. We left feeling sad, frustrated and just gutted out by the whole experience after waiting for so long. We still need to return to the embassy and endure the painful experience all over again. My suggestion, please have the officers announce if the counter is opening late and do updates. There were so many people waiting, pregnant ladies, ladies with kids and elderly people. Treat people with some dignity as your embassy is representing the whole of Indonesia and you want to paint a good picture. Something needs to be improved. I understand the high volume of passport renewals, etc but the Indonesian embassy should hire more personnel to reduce the congestion and make thing smoother. If someone has suggestion on how to beat the crowd or have a sound knowledge of when the numbers are released exactly, please share. Thank you.

The absolute worst , the embassy never picks up their phone, and when they do , they take an hour to transfer you to the visa agent who then hangs up on your face ... Disappointed

Quite impressed to be treated politely in a place like this. Honestly, I expected to be treated as cattle as usual. However, the lady who's giving general information in the visa section was nice and patient, despite the constant flow of people asking her random questions. The man doing my visa behind the counter was also very polite.

This embassy is crazy and full with lots of malay or weird Indonesian from the morning until the middle of night. Those lunatic and dirty immigrants or visitors will block the way surrounding the embassy. I truly suggest the embassy and government should do something. It is really unorganized and humiliated for a proper country (if they think) for a country's embassy

Applied for passport renewal. After registering, the staff said the new passport can be collected in 3 working days and she said it will finished in 3 working days. I came back 3 days later at the date she mentioned before, wasted my time and money just to know that my passport has not finished yet. And the staff was rude and not helping at all this time. Have sent an email too before to inquire regarding passport renewal process and they never replied. I m an Indonesian and you treat your own people this way. No wonder there are a lot of bad reviews from the foreigners. This is a shame for our country!

They require long pants but it's ok to wear a ratty t-shirt. They do not have an email address on their website. Lot's of vendors outside who an take your picture or make copes for you. Don't get a taxi there. They don't want to use the meter. Walk away and get a taxi farther from the embassy.

To make visa make sure to take the queue number in the morning, they only launch 120number perday.

Passport exchange matters go smoothly without bureaucracy, embassy staff work very disciplined, congratulations

Overall, it was a so-so experience. The Visa office (which is upstairs in a small room --- they have 3 counters). I always find the office space a bit small considering they issue out 120 tickets a day (sometimes up to 150).

Come early if you want to get your processing done quick. At number 8x... you need to wait until almost 11:30 am (open at 9 am) but the ticket counter is open at 8 am. Crazy!

The only good thing was one of our documents was not complete but the officer gave us a way to email to document instead of coming over again the next day to get the visa processed. Kudos for that!

This Indonesian Embassy is very slow, my wife made it. SPLP has not been out of work for a month, what are they doing?

Very poor telephone service, attempt to call for over 1 and a half hours and was only answered twice: the first time I was hung up on after a "Hello" and the second time I was shouted at with her just repeating the same thing when trying to clarify an answer. When I asked for her name, she hung up. Unhelpful, unprofessional and an embarrassing representation of their country.

It looks like the office has been a long time and must be improved again as an Indonesian citizen. The embassy is the same as representing Indonesia in Malaysia.

The service was very satisfactory unlike before only the one in the correctional toilet was not satisfactory

Asalamualaikum kbri service is now very good, easy, but unfortunately my passport has been extended there is a problem of being billed even though I was told 5 years ago that there was an error on the birth date please correct it said yes ok, but it is still wrong so my son copes the visa so there is a problem because there is no correction from kbri

People, today we just found out that The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia dont legacy documents for realizing a marriage The reason was that: I have a tourist visa and not a working visa or permit visa.

I spoke with the Ministry of Foreign Affair of Malaysia and they told me: "for ALL NATIONALITIES you can marry in Malaysia"
I called the Dutch Embassy in Den Hague one hour ago. The ambassador said to me: "Yes, Indonesian people can marry in Malaysia"
You need to go to Singapore to get marry a foreigner because The embassy of Indonesia dont help you. Telling lies and treat you like second class citizens.

Would rate 0 if i could, never answer calls or emails even tried FB. During this pandemic times so many people are having troubles and concerns regarding their pass or passport being in a foreign country and the embassy's lack of responsibility is not helping anyone at all.
