The staff at Idaho Imaging Center are friendly, personable and professional. I've been there numerous times and had a pleasant experience every time. I highly recommend Idaho Imaging Center for any of your imaging needs!

Being a retired Physician I am well aware of quality in a medical establishment or not. My experience with Imaging Center of Idaho has been exceptional. Today I had arthrograms in both of my shoulders (where fluid is injected into the joint capsules and then imaging studies are obtained). The X-ray tech, Dave, was calming and exceptional at his job. He was also a really cool guy, friendly and a great sense of humor. The MRI tech, Brad, answered all of my detailed and technical questions regarding the study, MRI physics and procedure. Both of these gentlemen were truly assets to the company. As a medical practice owner I would be grateful to have such amazing employees.
The final review is the interventional radiologist, who gave me the injections and performed the review of the films, Dr. Malcolm. He engendered confidence and peacefulness. He not only was a relaxing individual but his technical skills were exceptional. The injections were as painless as they could be. He listened to my concerns and modified the procedure to accommodate my atypical anatomy, leading to the whole injection part of the procedure being easily and effectively accomplished in minutes. After the MRI Dr. Malcolm took me in the reading room and showed the films, comparing with prior studies and giving commentary.
Were I in practice in this area I would refer all of my imaging to these fellows without hesitation.

They are very nice I didn't have to wait long to get in they explain how everything works when getting an MRI even though I have had a few they do a great job I would recommend them for MRI forsure

Still waiting for the office to submit images for ...

Still waiting for the office to submit images for a VA disability claim they contractually have only 48 hours to submit images to the medical claims contractor, it has now been ten days. I have left messages on all three extensions the past three days, still have not received a return call. I was more than 15 mins early for appt, told I was not on the schedule even with appointment letter in hand, had to come back 3 hours later after driving two plus hours to get there. Staff was less than friendly, appeared to not know what was going on with scheduling and reception, no one was in a proper medical uniform jeans and sports jerseys were the dress code that day. Certain functions of X ray equipment was broken, delaying the process even longer, although x ray techs personality was the only positive with this appt. I have submitted a review to the VA contractor recommending they cease using this provider. If anyone who works there sees this I would appreciate a phone call and the forwarding of my images so I can settle my claim.

I've had numerous medical imaging tests done here in the valley. After having a nightmare of an experience with an MRI elsewhere, and coming to this facility where they allowed me to "test out" the MRI machine and speak to the technician, I was able to complete the test easily. I've had mammography done there as well, and the experience was the best one I've had so far. I was in and out for that appointment (with the paperwork actually taking the most time) in less than 30 minutes.

I would DEFINITELY recommend ICI. Their staff is wonderful, the facilities are spotless and the technicians are so caring and kind. I wouldn't take a loved one anywhere else who needed any sort of medical imaging done.

super, front desk people great, techs super!! two weeks after my MRI, I asked for a copy of the MRI (Disk) to send to my daughter in Nashville, she is a FNP and she wanted to see the issues with my back....... they took care of it for me......Highly recommend

The Imaging Center of Idaho has a very professional yet pleasant atmosphere when you enter the building. The front desk staff are pleasant and easy to work with both in person and over the phone.
The Imaging Center of Idaho also houses the Vein Center of Idaho. We have only used the imaging services. To the best of my knowledge, ICI is able to perform most any imaging test your doctor may recommend. They do work with Terry Reilly and accept community grants. It doesn't matter what your method of payment is, the staff of ICI will treat you with dignity and respect.
They have doctors on staff and, when appropriate, they will consult with you regarding the results of your tests. Your personal doctor may or may not agree with that doctor's assessment, however. This happened with my husband very recently and we actually tend to agree with the ICI doctor more than his own doctor given certain details of his situation. Every case is different, however.
Overall, I highly recommend Imaging Center of Idaho for any diagnostic and follow up imaging services you and your family may need.

I recently went to this place and it was a superb experience. They cut me a great deal on the price of a CT scan so that was a huge plus right off the bat. The front desk woman (wish I had her name!) was super friendly. The procedure in the scan room was great. I asked the technician if I could see the images. He not only showed them to me but gave me a CD to take with me. And if you live in Boise and think it might be far, that's either not really true or it is worth the drive depending where you are. The facility is just off the I-84 so the drive is nice and easy. And if you live near Chinden, just shoot down the road to the west. No, they aren't paying me to say nice things. I just appreciate the hassle-free experience & I would go there again if I must.

The receptionist at the check in was helpful and patent as the paper work was filled out. I was very pleased with my procedure. The technicians were very informative as to what was going to happen and what I would be experiencing during the procedure. They were very concerned about my comfort but also made sure the I was positioned right to insure the best pictures thus reducing my time in the tunnel. All in all I was pleased with my time here.

I had a very good overall experience. The staff members were very kind and professional. I felt like they knew exactly what they were doing during my procedure and checked up on me the next day. It s also wonderful that they can set up payments if you can t afford everything up front!

Terrible customer service. Apparently, business must be very good at this place because they give patients the run-around. My doctor send a fax three times on the same day and I kept being told by this facility they didn't have it all day long....only to get a voicemail from them right when they were closing. I called back the next day and the staff on the phones are rude as if they're annoyed with requests for more exams. So, I kept being told they were busy because the hospitals were sending them patients due to covid. Needless to say you'll have trouble trying to schedule exams at this place. Avoid it like the plague. If reception and scheduling are an indication of how they work then doctors and imaging techs must not be professional either. Go to intermountain medical imaging or some other outpatient imaging center.

They were able to get me in very quickly to do an MRI on my knee. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Dr. Malcom confirmed my suspicion of an MCL tear, and got my report out very quickly. The MRI tech and Joe Robinson were awesome. Hopefully the insurance billing is as easy process is a easy as the rest of my experience. If you need imaging done, I highly recommend ICI.

They went above and beyond to help my diagnosis by ultrasound and MRI. The Ultrasound technician was ordered to look at my prostate. After believing it to appear normal, she began to explore my abdomen. After some questions and descriptions she was able to find a hernia above my left testicle which was pinching my femoral nerve fibers and the vessels attached to my left testicle. I believe it would have gone undetected and untreated if not for her persistence. Thanks to ALL at Imaging and Vein Center of Idaho for a positive experience dueingda scary time.

My experience in April 2015. The Staff is disorganized, from the receptionists to the technicians. They have zero communication skills and don't follow through with making sure doctors orders are followed. The technicians are rude and condescending. The equipment is old and diagnostic quality of tests are practically non existent due to the equipment and technicians lack of skill.

The whole situation was uncomfortable from beginning to end. Beginning with the constant problems with the scheduling department not allotting the correct amount of time for the test per Doctors specific order, having to be rescheduled many times as a result and never an apology for the inconvenience. Very Rude front office, scheduling Staff.

In addition to the previous statement and the following statements...

The staff, all of them, are HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. From joking around and discussing their personal lives in the presence of patients while patients are waiting to be checked in for their appontments. The waiting room was standing room only because of the back up, putting the patients and scheduled testing time behind for the technicians who also followed the same unprofessional behavior as the reception staff. Once they brought the patients back for their allotted tests the technicians talked about their personal lives, some of it too personal in a very distasteful, embarrassing, and offensive manner. Especially for it to be overheard by complete stranger's let alone patients in a professional medical setting . They seem to forget that you can still hear them while you're in the changing room. All very unprofessional.

The Technicians make a patient feel like it's their fault that they couldn't get the test right the first time rather than recognizing it was their own lack of communication with the patient, their lack of skill and ancient equipment. Technicians were rude if a patient asked questions and treats a patient with no compassion nor understanding.

After having gone through the test, the Radiologists were just as poor in reading the MRI. After going for a second opinion I was told that the test was not of diagnostic quality and yet my insurance was billed. I was then expected to pay the remainder of the balance not covered by insurance.

DO NOT UTILIZE THIS FACILITY. This facility might be cheaper but you definitely get what you pay for in the end and in the end it's atrocious, the facility, the equipment, and the staff. It's hard to believe they are still open for business and allowed to see patients.

Just being honest here as i had removed my review before but still think about it. I had a very bad experience with the billing company back in 2015 regarding insurance. My insurance was declined because i provided it late but i talked to insurance and they said they would cover the bill and that they just needed a letter from the imaging center saying why they billed them late even if it stated that it was my fault. So i called the manager and explained to her and she said that my insurance was wrong and she wasnt gonna waste her time and that I had to pay. Seriously? Im the customer and that was not good customer service at all. Two insurance representatives had said the same thing and she was saying that they were wrong? I also asked her why they hadnt contacted me once the insurance declined and she said that it wasnt her job to keep the customers in check. I would expect a call after 2-3 bills later sent back with my insurance information. Only cause she had 15 years experience and she new what she was doing. So i contacted my insurance and they were mad that the manager had told me that because she cant talk to me that way. So they sent them another letter and me a copy of it one more time. But i didnt hear anything after that for a while. Then i got the last bill before it goes into collection and i called them and they said that they dont have it anymore because the imaging center recieved insurance information. But after Like a month still no refund of the half i already paid. So i decided to write a review and the owner contacted me and he was very nice and said he would look into it. He apologized for the bad customer service. He then also said HE processed the refund and is sent out. Like wasnt that the billing department's job to do right when they got my insurance info a month or two before i wrote the review? Im not saying i dont recommend going there. The receptionists were nice and the ones that did my ultrasounds were even more AMAZING! They made me feel comfortable. It was just one bad experience i had, not saying that it will happen to everyone. Im just sharing my story.

I am discussed with this company. I needed an ultrasound on my breast because I have a lump in one breast that became painful. The dr suggested I get a ultrasound and wrote the order for it. They said they never received it and the dr office had to send twice, then when they did get it they told me that they re companies policy was to get a mammogram first or a MRI. They would not not do an ultrasound like my dr and I wanted to do. When a imaging center tells you what you can and can t have because it s all about the insurance and money, they are not for the people and have over stepped the boundaries.

My daughter was in a car accident and was referred to them for images. While she was there the 2 women at the front desk have been extremely rude to her. Before going I had put all the insurance information on a paper for her to give them to process all billing. She called me while standing at the front desk because they were hasseling her about an address so I got on the phone and explained all you need to do is put the claim number I provided and fax it over and they will cut you a check. They then turned to my daughter and said you take this paperwork back and if you dont have the address to us in 2 days we are just billing you directly. Seriously????? She is 18 just in a head on collision and trust me totally doesnt feeling well. Your lack of professionalism and patient respect has alot to be desired. I will definitley let the Dr. who referred us to you know just how un-ethical you are !!! As far as I am concerned if you dont have any compassion and common courtesy you shouldnt be working at the front desk.

First off, the services we received were as expected and without any problems. However the billing process was more frustrating. I shopped around to find out the price for my wife s ultrasound. Based on the information I was provided we chose this business for the procedure. My wife was asked to bring her insurance card, photo id and money on the day of the procedure. I was expecting to pay $200 as advertised on their website. When my wife confirmed the appointment she was told the cost was going to be $48.95 great deal. No money was asked for on the date of the procedure, and this would be a 5 star review if the story ended there. However I received a bill for $245. Upon contacting this business I was told that the $200 was the cash price (which we were expecting to pay). Then I was told they received bad information from my insurance company about the cost. Now I am not in the medical billing field, but I feel that more compassion and understanding could have been shown to resolve this situation. It wasn t my fault they received incorrect insurance information, I was just trying to get the lowest price. I offered to pay the $200 cash to them immediately upon receiving my bill they declined. Again the services were 5 star, the customer service less so.

Although this place is cheaper then most, their front end receptionist is horrible. My first visit was for an MRI and lady that took my information was rude, had rude attitude when I asked questions about the forms I filled out and a coworker come up to her space and started talking about personal issues. That was not very professional AT ALL. I thought I would give the place another chance, boy that was a mistake. The second visit was a different lady. She checked me in and was not very personable. The techs in the back are great. Probably won't be coming going back.

I felt mostly compelled to write this review because my tech was the absolute best imaging tech I've ever had. He was so upbeat, easy to talk to, and efficient. He deserves five stars for sure, but I did only give four stars for my whole experience. In the midst of a huge covid wave in the state, this office didn't take their procedures too seriously. The front desk staff weren't wearing their masks, and one man in the waiting room with me also wasn't wearing his and was coughing. For the safety of their patients, I think they need to be more stringent with their precautions.

I actually had a really good experience except for the receptionist area, and looking at the previous reviews they don't seem to care about changing anything. Instead of the receptionist's monitors being canted 45 degrees which would still give them HIPA security, you spend your sign in time speaking to the back of a monitor. Quite unnerving, but the CT technician and medical experience was very nice.

I have had five different appointments scheduled. They called made sure we were still set for the appointment the day before the but proceeded to cancel every time I showed up. They make me reschedule then make me wait an hour to be seen. This isn't professional by any means. Get it together.

After reading the prior reviews I was hesitant about booking my needed testing procedure here. I am glad I decided to give it a try as I found all of these complaints invalid. The office staff was fast, personable and informed of the procedures and needed billing information. I have had an MRI with contrast that was extremely painful in the past and the Dr that performed the injection procedure made it nearly painless. The technician was fully aware of positional issues with being uncomfortable and I was positioned by him and able to relax, unlike the previous procedures I have had elsewhere. I expected to find out dated antiquated equipment after reading other reviews. This is definitely not the case. This is a new building and the equipment was state of the art. I have had to be in the MRI tunnel longer at other places as they could not get me in a comfortable position to be able to lay there as long as needed. Again this was not the case at this facility.Any one judging this facility by some of the negative reviews posted here can relax. Your in good hands here.

I was referred to this place by my Doctor for a Liver Biopsy. I was called by them and was scheduled for my Biopsy the next day. I was told to come in for blood work before my appointment the next day. I was coming from another town and so I called them the next morning early to see how soon before the appointment I needed to arrive for the blood work. I was told by the receptionist she didn't know and would call me back. 2 1/2 hours later I got a call back. I was informed that my appointment had been cancelled because the Doctor was busy and that there was no nursing staff on duty to be able to perform the procedure. So I ask why I had been called and scheduled if there was no staff to do the Biopsy.... and as always she didn't know. I ask when I would be rescheduled and again she didn't know. I said when will I know... she said she would call me back... never heard anything back. So I called again the next day and said I would not ever be using the facility . They had proven they were unprofessional and I could NOT TRUST THEM to do the BIOPSY ... told them Not to call me back I was going someplace else for my Biopsy.

The doctor and the nurse who saw me were amazing. They made me feel as comfortable as I could be for an HSG.

But my procedure was out of pocket and the front desk charged me the wrong amount $250. When I asked wow that s a lot less than I expected, is that right she reassured me that yes it was correct. The next day I got a call saying I was charged incorrectly and I still owed $25. Which isn t a lot but since infertility procedures are not covered I was excited to have money left over in our budget for more medications/tests/labs.
When I called and talked to someone they seemed disinterested in what I had to say, especially when I told her that I was reassured it was the correct amount. I was just told the person was talked to.

So just quadruple check your prices are right because this was a very frustrating situation.

The do good work but they told me to submit through my insurance because it was cheaper to do so ($90.00) estimate rather than pay the $350.00 cash price. Well I got the bill today for $367.01 from insurance and it is what I owe. Beware of what they tell you regarding billing you may end up paying more than you think because of incorrect information given to you. I can pay this price anywhere. Might go elsewhere next time. This was a surprise that I was not expecting.

I was set up to shadow a radiologist at St Alphonsus however they canceled on me last minute. Dr. Chris Malcom was very kind to allow me to shadow him and give me his time. I will be always thankful for him because without this observation I would ve been behind a semester and couldn t move forward.

I've been here for MRI's, routine mammogram exams, diagnostic exams and a biopsy. I would say I have some experience. I've always found the staff helpful and considerate. They were sensitive to my concerns and fears and made me feel safe. I can think of no better review. But, I'll also explain that when I had an insurance mess up with my employer, they were very patient and accommodating. They clearly explained their procedures and guidelines and allowed me to choose my options knowing what the alternatives might be.

All of the employees I've worked with are skilled and competent. Most of all, they were caring. When you are there for testing that can be so scary so having that comfort of employees who care about your emotional as well as physical needs was a great strength. (fortunately for me, none of my tests were positive. I've been lucky.)

I would recommend them to anyone.

added after reading the other reviews: I don't know what happened to the other patients but I'm shocked. I'm sure everyone and every business had a bad day, but when there were personal things discussed in my presence for instance, it was to connect with me to help me relax and reminded me and them that I'm a person with real feelings. I would rather people be friendly than cold.

I did find the waiting room crowded in one of the 6 visits I've made here. I've also found the tv too loud once. I think anyone who is having testing done here is not feeling relaxed and happy to be there. Going in with some charged emotions and worries can make people find and notice things that aren't as awful as they sound. I've really never experienced the problems these reviews allude to....

I had a pretty great experience here. Check in was easy since most of it was done over the phone prior to arrival. I was well taken care of during the whole imaging process. I was a little nervous but that went away quickly while being talked through the whole process and during the process. Very great staff!

This was my first time using the center. I was treated very well from the scheduling of my appointment until my appointment was completed. Everyone that I had contact with was very prompt and professional. My questions were answered and my comfort was always important.
I would certainly recommend this imaging center to anyone who is in need of this kind of service.
