In my opinion, the better of the two Munich Ikea branches. Large range of outside and covered parking spaces, good access to the motorway and therefore easy to reach from the city. The size of the furniture store itself is very generous, so that a surprisingly large amount from the portfolio is shown.
The restaurant is unfortunately very busy on busy days, despite the large size, that you have to look for places.
The offer of many self-service checkouts really makes the payment process very quick.

If I could have put zero stars I would have done it. We ordered 1 sofa, 2 bed slat frames, 1 bed and a matress cover. We received 2 sofas, 1 bed with 2 wrong bed slats frames for a larger bed (...) and no matress cover. Customer care below the most basic level. Although we told them the items where wrong, they could not take them back directly for I don't know whatever ridiculous reason so we had useless giant furnitures in the middle of the house for a week. If you want to speak to somebody on the phone it never takes less than an hour. Much better services elsewhere

If you know exactly what you want a good place for sure. Always a good place if you are looking for small parts. E.g. cushions for a Hollywood swing. Titsch sets or kitchen gadgets. I always find something with the lamps or opening materials. In terms of furniture, I haven't yet found anything that fits into our apartment. What I still like is the food department. And what should not be missing on almost any visit is the hot dog at the end

Recently I purchased a large order from Ikea. Half of the delivery was delivered on the date scheduled and the other half was supposed to arrive 2 days later. The second delivery did not arrive, we waited the entire day, emailed customer care with no response. We were unable to contact Ikea telephonically as the customer service do not speak English and they just put the phone down.

We then set another date for the delivery online and this too was not delivered, nor did anyone call to let us know that the delivery was not being delivered. Now we have no way of re-setting the date and we will be unable to receive the order as we will be out of town.

We did not even receive any contact information regarding where the delivery is or what is happening with regards to the delivery. We paid 89 for this delivery and it had not been delivered twice now. This is unacceptable and very disappointing.

How do we rectify this?

Worldwide budget and ok quality furniture and whatever you need for your household. Most of the students and young adults shop at IKEA for decorating their new home. As all of the IKEA stores, they have decorated rooms giving ideas how to use their furniture wisely.

It always takes a long time to pay. Cashiers are only partially geared towards efficiency. Ikea could take a look at discounter markets.
