Use to be a great software company, unfortunately they have gone downhill of late. Software (Webstorm) has become bloated and unresponsive.. and just plain expensive. Customer service is slow and practically non-existent. There are plenty of free development software packages out there now.

For a company that develops software for other developers I'd expect a clear roadmap per product with possible repo's to contribute to as dev. You could at least support @SuperBuilder in your Lombok plugin, the feature has been requested for more than a year ago for a mainstream dependency.

About JetBrains

JetBrains is a cutting-edge software vendor specializing in the creation of intelligent development tools, including IntelliJ IDEA – the leading Java IDE, and the Kotlin programming language.

JetBrains is a software development company that has been in the industry for over two decades. The company specializes in creating intelligent development tools that help developers to write better code faster and more efficiently. JetBrains has become a household name among developers, thanks to its flagship product IntelliJ IDEA – the leading Java IDE, and the Kotlin programming language.

The company was founded in 2000 by Sergey Dmitriev, who had a vision of creating tools that would make software development easier and more enjoyable. Since then, JetBrains has grown into a global brand with offices in several countries around the world.

One of the key strengths of JetBrains is its focus on innovation. The company invests heavily in research and development to create cutting-edge tools that meet the evolving needs of developers. This approach has led to several breakthroughs over the years, including IntelliJ IDEA – which revolutionized Java development – and Kotlin – which has quickly become one of the most popular programming languages among developers.

JetBrains' products are designed with usability in mind. The company understands that developers need tools that are easy to use and intuitive, so they can focus on writing code rather than struggling with complex interfaces or workflows. This philosophy is reflected across all their products, from IntelliJ IDEA's smart code completion features to ReSharper's powerful refactoring capabilities.

Another key strength of JetBrains is its commitment to open source software. Many of their products are built on top of open source frameworks like Apache Maven or Gradle, making it easy for developers to integrate them into their existing workflows without having to learn new technologies from scratch.

In addition to its core products like IntelliJ IDEA and Kotlin, JetBrains also offers a range of other developer tools such as TeamCity (a continuous integration server), Upsource (a code review tool), and YouTrack (an issue tracker). These complementary products help teams work together more effectively by streamlining collaboration processes across different stages of software development.

Overall, JetBrains is an innovative software vendor with a strong focus on creating intelligent developer tools that make coding faster and more efficient. With its commitment to usability and open source principles combined with cutting-edge technology solutions like IntelliJ IDEA or Kotlin programming language - it's no wonder why so many programmers trust this brand when it comes down choosing best-in-class solutions for their projects!
