A splendid palace ... an irreproachable quality and a lovely staff, smiling and attentive.

One of the worst hotel experiences ever. No wifi, you have to pay 25 euros per day we're in 2017 come onnn. They asked for a deposit on our last night which no one understood. Their food is blah. Their customer service is so bad they just repeat and repeat what they say. Their rooms are ancient.

Welcome to one of the super spots on the Croisette ... A legendary place because of its history ...

The ultimate kitchisime fortunately there is the myth otherwise I think there will be less canvas hanging on the storefront

I stayed at the Hotel Carlton in Cannes from September 24th to 30th for work. I have to say that I haven't asked to stay in this hotel, since I have always found other good hotels in Cannes, like Crystal, Mercure, Splendid... but the company wanted like this.
I don't know how much my boss spent for my room, but I heard something about 1800euros for a single standard room.

Also for two nights I couldn't sleep because a noise, like a deafening whistle very loud came from the bathroom, 2 or 3 times during the night.
I asked for assistance, they came, but the problem was solved at the third day..
You have to pay for watching TV and for everything in the room.. They leave a papere that said that one bootle of water was free.. But I didn't have it.
Very bad experience for an hotel that il claimed so much

Good service. Small flat on the gangue of valet, which, in my eyes, is the only service not up to a hotel of this category.

Service was very friendly and fast. Drinks were a little pricey but the decoration was pleasant and classy so definitely worth it.

Offer rooms in such deplorable condition to your customers and at an exorbitant price justified by your name and not by your services ... You are the shame of the profession!

Big scam, where does your reputation come from? In your unsuccessful project? No, but I'm hallucinating, everything has to be paid for, even respecting the staff costs the price of a bottle of water, which itself does not cost the price of a bottle of water in normal times. You are beautiful crooks and thank you to YouTubers like Aleks and Leonard who finally publicly shows your lousy hotel, even a b'n'b tune is more prestigious than yours.
PS: we can understand that you like the old side, but to follow the smell with the atmosphere is really not necessary.

Unmissable prestigious place in Cannes. The rooms are very comfortable, although they could have been a little larger. The bar is good too, but lacks a bit of privacy.

Marvellous location at the corniche in Cannes . Room is spacious but old fashioned ( mostly it was kept like this to maintain the spirit of the hotel ) , small balcony and small sea view for the side rooms , safe place with very good service. Diverse types of food at breakfast , helpful concierge and main reception , nice and well equipped meeting room.

One of the best hotels in cannes where all celebrities used to stay. Place is amazing, service is excellent. Close to down town and all landmarks there. I recommend it as best place to stay during your visit in Cannes

Ah Carlton ... What a beautiful building .. The emblem of Cannes ...

Location was fantastic. The hotel itself was impecible and the staff was very service oriented.

A pleasant evening on the terrace adorned with magnificent parasols, which overlooks the Boulevard de la Croisette and offers us a superb view over the bay of Cannes.
The noise of the cars is quite present if you are on the edge of the terrace, which was our case.
The place is very ventilated and it is a real plus with these heat;
I must point out that the distances of distances are completely respected at the Carlton !!!
The tables are super spaced out and we were telling each other with my husband that it should stay that way after COVID :)
Professional service and hidden staff.
The pianist is excellent but we can't hear him enough from the end of the terrace.

The place to be. History is floading the lobby, the bar, the rooms. Great service and welcome. Amazing Concierge, be sure you go and see Maxime & team, in order to get the right experience !

A lovely hotel located next to the beach in Cannes. It is a great place to come for a drink and a bite to eat whilst watching all of the interesting people in Cannes. Worth a visit if your in town.

The only reason I am giving this place a 3 star is for the outdated rooms. Stayed here during the month of July which is peak time, so I understand if service was slow or stretched. The staff was very helpful and eager to help In Local restaurant booking or recommending activities. The beach staff are the golden stars of this hotel, they work externally hard underneath the burning sun and running around on sand doesn t look as easy at it is.

Traditional hotel at the Promenade de Cannes. Very nice architecture and great to look at.

Great location great room but the reception was pressure selling membership cards, free wifi is good for email only (options exist at 25, 50 and 100 euro per night!!). They don t even pay for a single Nespresso capsule in the room. After that I didn t feel so welcome anymore.

It's been 5 years that I go and it's still good. Value for a drink in Cannes before shopping. Staff arranging and very efficient, fresh products at the restaurant of the beach because I only frequent this one. This review is for the Carlton beach restaurant.

The service can be compared with a few hotels. Unfortunately, the hotel was a bit old and the rooms should be renovated. At first glance everything looks perfect, with a close look at the ceiling or the walls, you can see the age of the hotel. Personally, I do not think this is bad, this just has nothing to look for in such a price range. As soon as photographers are in front of the hotel, you can meet celebrity guests in the rules.

Really nice but they lost a star when they served a glass of champagne in a wine glass... Lol

Best Hotel in town.
We love the tradional ambiente and the good service right in front of the La Croisette beach for the Cannes Film Festival every year.
And we was also enjoying when Gary Oldman took Photos from our little princess Pug :-)
