The hotel service and impeccable. Unfortunately, the luxury and the reputation of the place do not appear in the restaurants (restaurant at the beach and in the hotel)

Lunch "st-Jacques menu" at the Carlton's restaurant. Prestigious setting at the hotel level, restaurant room covered terrace with a shaky floor under the steps. Staff caring. Menu entry / dish / dessert with 2 glasses of wine in agreement with the dishes. Very good meal, affordable with this formula.

Not up to the price, does not deserve 5 stars, the only beautiful thing is the facade

I only stood outside this place and my bank account emptied. Is that bad?

Room below everything. I had never seen this in the screen, very dark room with horrible photos and a television from the 1990s, perfect for a horror movie.
Poor reception service. No room service available during the night and closed mini bar.
Aggressive valets
The icing on the cake, + 500 eur fees not even teaching me at check-out.

I strongly advise against this hotel and I do not even understand how it still keeps its 5 stars (probably pos of wines poured).

Classic hotel which even though it is getting worn still has a high standard.

Great checkin experience. However the rooms are on the small side with a very small WC. The views from my room were great - definitely get a sea view room.

TV and other appliances definitely need updating

Hotel de Stars located on the Croisette, very chic, imposing despite its age.

Good hotel with good service but too plush for my taste and too small rooms.

They everything you could ever want even 4 ft bottles of rose that you can bill to your room.

First time visiting Cannes, very impressed. It has a very relaxed friendly feel to the place and an obvious liking for the finer things in life, we walked along the front on our short visit but will definitely be returning.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of all the action and right on the beach. Brilliant hotel which I have no problem highly recommending.

The service has dropped at the tea room. No wonder the hotel does not stand out anymore. That said off season at majestic it's not better. We sat in the tea room amazed that no one came to take our order..we waited more than 15 minutes. I want to hear that responsiveness is not local custom but still.

Very good service but the rooms definitely need to be a little more modern. The prices unfortunately too high, but unfortunately now a standard for this region. The location is the best in all of Cannes.
