The best food good service love this place never had a bad meal here

The Ice House is always reliable and their pizza is delicious, with a thin crust and super-tasty sauce. Love their donuts and hoagies too. I appreciate the precautions they've taken during COVID-19 and their dedication to customer safety and mask-wearing.

Ice house is our go to. Best wings by far, but it doesnt end there. I recommend their burgers, the wraps, the hoagies. My kids devour their pizza, breakfast is so good that the parking lot is packed. Great customer service. They are definatly a piece of the heart of pottstown. Pottstown gets a bad rep, but we all know there are some amazing hidden gems. Ice house is one of those (although not very hidden ) They are the kinda place we stop at to grab food before we drive outta state to see family who moved away long ago. Cant show up without a piece of pottstown delicacy. Down falls? None really,the only problems I've ever had was forgotten petal sauce, and that's hardly a reason to lose a star. I suggest a take out kids menu in time would be wonderful. Other than that they are the best around... We used to be 10 mins away, now we are about 25, and we still order regularly!

Their bottle shop and great menu selection made a night of unhealthy takeout with old friends one to remember. Bonus: You get a complimentary bottle opener.

The best cheesesteak in Pottstown. I gave them four stars because the cheese fries come with only one little container of cheese and for what you pay it is not worth it to add the cheese. It is like paying 2 dollars for two tablespoons of cheese wiz. My 10 year old always asks why they give so little cheese!

I ordered a lge cheese steak stromboli, There large is 13" long. It feeds maybe 2 people at best. When I picked it up I was charged $3 over the internet menu price a total of $19.61 .. Not going back.

Hands down best restaurant in Pottstown. Best food breakfast and dinner. A bit pricey these days but 100% worth it. The only downside is their blue cheese has been changed from being made there to being purchased generic.

This is definitely Pottsown's gem in terms of pizza places, best pizza in a 20 mile radius.

Pros:

Cons:
>Delivery can take between 30 minutes to 1 hour.
>Delivery staff is usually late, and will get very mad and verbal when they're not tipped as a consequence.
>Phone staff are very short with people and impatient, it's not uncommon to straight up be hung up on.

But honestly, once you taste their pizza, the cons become necessary demons for your new pizza addiction!

This is the best breakfast place in the area! Lunch and dinner are great to, but go for the breakfast to really get the day off right. Amazing fresh squeezed orange juice, great fresh, homemade donuts, and the best bacon, pancakes and French toast I've had around here. The staff is nice and attentive, and the prices are reasonable as well. You can't beat Ice House in the morning!

This is about the fourth or fifth time this has happened. I ordered my food, waited over an hour and a half, and of course all the food was cold. I feel like I keep wasting my money because who wants to eat cold fries? When the food is actually hot it's the best in the area. It's a shame, but their prices went up and service went down.

If you want to have the best donuts, freshest donuts, served by the friendliest waitresses, go to Ice House Deli!

I'm going to start by saying I absolutely love the food!! My favorite is the ham stromboli. When I eat in the service is wonderful and the people are great my problem comes when we order delivery. It seems to be every time we have ordered in the last 6 months something gets messed up weather it's with the delivery itself, like tonight it took an hour and a half when I was told 45-60 minutes, or something is missing and I have to go there to get it. I completely understand that things happen but evert time is starting to get ridiculous. Yes I will say that they did compensate me tonight but that doesn't happen all the time. I really hope that the mangers or owner can do something to fix the problem. The food really is wonderful but tonight I'm heating it up bc it took so long to get to my house.

Ice house is the spot to meet great people & eat delicious food with worthy portions. I've had some rude customer service, over the phone, but overall, the place is friendly & accommodating.
Im cutting down on bread consumption & made a customized order. It was a great decision. So, if you see, Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak FRIES on the menu, one day, you're welcome

ALWAYS great food, prices are fantastic, portions are just right, staff is engaging, fast and efficient. Dine-in, take-out or delivery ... always the best.

The pizza ain't great the wings are just alright and the burgers are frozen patties. Good selection of takeout beer.

This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with the ice hose but this is the worst!

I loved ice house until they changed to the toast app for ordering. Somehow it changed my address to an address that I called the cops on last week and delivered it to the wrong place. I called to let them know and they said they would redeliver it. 45 minutes later, no food and when I called to let them know and express my thoughts on the new app I was hung up on. Only been here in Pottstown a year, probably at least 50 orders but you've lost my respect and my business.

This place is going down hill. It seems they hired former McDonald employees who dont understand the concept of taking and order. So now this is the 3rd and final time in a row they messed up my order. I explained 3 times what I wanted and WAAALAH they still got the order wrong. Not to mention they are over priced for mediocre food. Im done with this dump!

By far one of my favorite places to go to get breakfast. I will say that the last time I was here our waitress was not good at all. All the people working there seem to be very young and need to work on there job. But again the food is amazing.

Ice house steaks and pizza worst service in pottstown ..never recieved my order, called 15 minutes after it was suppose to be delivered...eventully told they were short handed n it was on its way, half hour later no delivery, called rang, rang, rang , told by a male voice they were closed n they hung up on me so i called called called....female answered n said my money had been refunded..ok awsome u didnt just take my money but y if u were soooo busy did u still take orders n when calling to check on an order said on its way...will never ordee from IceHouseSteachHouse ever again

Waited hour and half for two grilled chicken salads order arrives salads have no dressing called spoke to manager who advised he would have salads remade and sent asap! 2nd order arrives 30 min later salad has NO CROUTONS one huge chicken breast and lettuce! I 0nly ordered because they have the best baked croutons called again spoke to Heather her response was she would add a ten dollar credit for my next order this is unacceptable and poor customer service!

Awesome breakfast options. The sausage gravy is as good as hjomemade. Dinner options are less impressive pizza is good

Nice local restaurant. We tried a few items and all was great. We had a steak sandwich was very good. Wish we have more such places in my area.

I ordered food at 7 pm , when I hadn t received my delivery order by 7:50 I called was told it was on the way , horrible service, I never got my food when I called back at 8:50 pm to now cancel my order , again was told my food was on the way , I canceled, extremely rude service, was hung on , mind you i was the one who was patiently waiting for almost 2 hrs for food that was never even delivered, the person who manages this establishment should be ashamed of themselves on how they run a establishment, never again

Delicious food served by curtious serves never experienced a problem with this establishment.

Not from the area was a little hesitant picture of establishment did not appear the same, HOWEVER....The pizza and wings were delicious, haven't had pizza that good in sometime! Logan I believe was her name she was pleasant & courteous. Should I return to this area I will definitely stop in again.

Front staff are extremely kind, hard working, and patient. We have only done take out but one of these days, we'll dine in.
The carry out beer selection is a decent variety and fairly priced.

I don t get the 4.3 star rating on google but on yelp it s actually 3.4 or 3.5 respectively. What I don t get is how a company can lie to its customers about how their food is fresh and not frozen when you get wings that look like Tyson wings from Wegmans. Another thing, try Jimi s cheesesteaks and then try Ice House s. You ll notice the difference in flavor right away. It s not fresh at all; the taste of the meat is too bland and fairly dry. Not only that but the prices are way too high for bar food. Just because some items come from another city, we are supposed to believe they are fresh? Where does the meat come from? The vegetables? The Kraft-looking Mac and cheese they give you?? Not only that, their customer service is just horrendous. One time I literally had to call the place three times on a Tuesday just to put a order in. Where is the consistency? Not only that, but I ve read some of the responses the owner have some of these reviews, and some of his responses just screamed condescending. I know this restaurant is like everything to some of these people living in this small town, but people need to look somewhere else that s affordable and offers actual fresh food. I ve never had a pizza as bland as the one I had here. The cheese is not even real cheese. How is this restaurant still alive? Idk (maybe because it s the only restaurant here that has some form of taste to their food although metro 100 might take them out of business for the next five years). What they need to do is lower these insane prices, train the staff better customer service, and most importantly, do not provide false advertisement towards their customers because this ain t it chief.

I will never patronize this restaurant again. We went today to pick up cheesesteaks and witnessed unfair treatment of what appeared to be a man very down on his luck. He was turned away from purchasing a 6 pack because he was wearing a jacket hanging open without a shirt. He turned quietly, embarrassed. with his head down and left without argument.

My husband felt moved to assist and purchased it for him while I stopped the gentleman in the parking lot. When I went back, the rude associate behind the counter started mouthing off about him being drunk and saying she didn't understand why we were encouraging his behavior.

At no time did this man appear or sound drunk. He was clear and lucid in his speech and humiliated for the way he was treated.

The girl behind the counter was ignorant and inappropriate to criticize my husband or our behavior. She should mind her own business, stop being so judgmental and let adults make their own decisions. We immediately canceled our order and went elsewhere.

Great local spot, good service, definitely should stop by when you get a chance. The burgers are dope

Delicious cheese steaks and chicken cheese steaks! Clean and friendly people.

Been coming here a long time. The buffalo bites are the best. Not to mention that they have a extra hot wing sauce with more bite than most places. Only downfall is sometimes they are difficult to reach.

They forgot my cheese and when I called back for it they hung up on me, twice.

Stopped in with grandson for steak sandwich, got a cheese steak stromboli the Wednesday special,, I did add pepperoni, and hot peppers on half of it, and the sauce inside the stromboli, it was still a reasonable price with the xtras,, and delicious, , no complaints, 5 stars rating...service was pleasant and the place was very clean. 5 stars,,,

First time going there for breakfast today. It was GREAT!

Go for the cheese steaks and the brunch--but do yourself a favor and skip the pizza. :P

The cheese steaks are great and taste like home/Philly for this Pennsylvanian living elsewhere. We also love their brunch options, very solid, plus fresh squeezed orange juice (Which you can watch them make!). We eat here at least once or twice whenever I come home to visit family. It's also a beverage dispensary, so this is where we pick up drinks for our get-together.

All-in-all, Ice House remains as much of a Pottstown mainstay as it was in my childhood. :)

But seriously--skip the pizza. Trust me.

Ice House is a GREAT place to eat but it can get very busy. The turn over rate is high there so the service can be compromising especially around peak hrs

Thru out this whole quarantine this place provided consistent service and quality. Food is always deelish!!

So I have always had great dealings with this place of business. Until a couple weeks ago, they decided to close early and myself and two other customers were told No We Are Closed, when I called a second time I got a burp in my ear then hung up on. I talked to a different manager and she was awesome and took care of me. The next time I called I was hoping that manager was there, well then shtf it was the same manager that closed early(the one I complained to the good manager about) I decided I would not eat there but go in to see the person behind the phone. When I walked in I was stunned to be told if I wanted to start problems I was not aloud back there, i had just walked in and said hi to one of the people who I normally deal with. Then from the kitchen I hear is that the CRACKER.... Ok so I asked the manager if it's ok for me to be called racist slurs she ignored it and said I'm counting money I didn't hear any thing(she was no more than a few feet from me) then again was told I would no longer be aloud there. If I wanted to complain call one of the other managers who she had already called apparently. So if your a white person and this manager is working watch you back and your food.

I love your food but twice this week tried calling to place an order and no one answers the phone. Went to Scotty's in New Berlinville and the food was amazing! Well worth the drive
