Ice House Steaks & Pizza Reviews

Pizza has a thicker cheese and a different taste. Got a side salad which had all the ingredients of a larger salad. Fresh. Had one issue with the pizza and I called and she sent a replacement. Better than the original. Nice meal for the price. Great quality stuff. Thanks guys and gals.

The Quality of ICE HOUSE food has gone way down in the last 2 years.. prices are high for what you get... Every time i order from ice house i immediately regret it.. I need to remember to stop ordering form here.. used to be way better..

Delivery is really above and beyond. A bit disappointed when we decided to dine in as the food was colder then any deliveries I've had.

Came to area haven t had ice house in like years I give One star a week ago I went in for menu came out was like okay we will just wait in parking lot and call in I can see the girls inside I called 5x and then they finally wanted to answer phone all just standing around not doing anything there were no customers inside and we where only people in parking lot so they were not even busy what so ever. Poor service not like it use to be.

We go there quite frequently.. we really like there steak sandwiches. Hoagies and wings!! Our Granddaughters were with they ate everything!

Surprisingly nice inside, service was fast, the food was good. I would definitely eat here again, good local spot.

I went to Pottstown to show how much I care about you..... Ice House, I have heard great things about Ice House. I wish I hadn t heard great things because I went in with high expectations. Plus missing the turn onto High St didn t help my demeanor. It was a good cheesesteak but I was expecting a great cheesesteak. My cheesesteak looked much different than pictures of other Ice House cheesesteaks that I have seen. It was still a very tasty and good cheesesteak. I got it with sweet peppers and Ice House sauce. They describe the sauce as a marinara, my limited culinary skills tell me it was a vinaigrette y marinara. It was a great vegetable sandwich w/cheesesteak meat. Overall all pretty good experience. Great hometown feel and my Ice House made donut was amazing!!

The wings were great. The blue cheese was terrible. To little celery as well. The staff was excellent and attentive. Will I return? Only time will tell.

My neighborhood go to! The BEST burgers. Love this place. Great breakfast as well.

I order breakfast today from ice house, I got French toast, sausage, home fries, scrapple. The scrapple was soggy and all the food was cold. I am very disappointed with the food. I won t be going again. Like I just can t believe all the food is cold. I also asked for onion in hole fires and I asked for sausage to be well done then didn t so that either.

I ordered 12 wings and got 9 and one of them wasn't a wing don't know what the heck it was.

I love going to Ice House once a year with the girls from Bible study. It's a very popular local restaurant known for their cheesesteak sandwiches. Their small hoagie still looks like a foot long. The chicken salad on a salad or a sandwich is pretty good.

Wonderful! Amber was so professional, knowledgeable & friendly. Good food. Left my gloves there. Hope I can get them back.

Pass the place thousands of times, but never stopped despite hearing great things. Wife/I ordered a large cheese-steak to split. We assumed it would come with sauce, but wasn't sure about fried onions so we ordered them on the side. No sauce, and we didn't get the side of onions. While the steak and fries were very good, not what we expected. I guess we need to order differently next time. giving a 4 star - good food though, and friendly staff at pickup

The Corned Beef special is my go to! I mean look at this! Corned beef is piled high. I just wish I didn't have to pay extra for Swiss cheese. Their coleslaw is the best in town. Russian dressing and coleslaw are on the side only because I didn't want it to get soggy during delivery. I also was craving a parm sandwich so I went with the meatball parm see how good their HOMEMADE meatballs were. Delicious! My only regret is that I didn't order the large sub so I could have eating the other half for lunch today.

Not a fan of the staff and the low class atmosphere. They always get my order wrong. After waiting 30 minutes for 2 cheese steaks, they only made one and told me I had to wait another 15 for the second one I said no thanks and ordered one from Little Italy which was done in the drive over, and the cheesesteak tasted a million times better. Food is ok occasionally, depending on the time of day. The best thing I've ordered were the steak fries. Everything else is sub par. Probably not coming back

When we went tonight it was busy, as expected. We both ordered the fish and chips. Everything was going great, our food was delivered in a timely fashion but when we ate the second or third bite of the first filet on our plates... we found the inside of the fillets were raw and cold. I got a waitress' attention, and calmly told her, so as not to embarrass anyone, that the inside of the filet was cold and raw. She took the plates back and let the kitchen know. But when she came back out, she stated that they have a heat gun that they use and the temperature checked out at 130 degrees. I restated that the inside, not the outside, of the fish fillets were cold and raw. She seemed more interested in defending their practice of checking the fried foods in the kitchen than she was in just accepting the fact that the restaurant served undercooked and/or raw fish. Where I come from, you apologize for an error and you move on... you don't attempt to argue with a customer who's about to throw up, mercy!

The breakfast here is phenomenal and they have one of the best burgers in the area.

Had a delivery to a near motel and used my card signed for receipt and went on with the night, checked my bank statement the next morning and was charged an extra $ 3.00 the delivery guy added a tip that I didn't sign for so be sure to put a big ZERO were it says tip and use a different ink pen.

My first time here. Great wait staff. Barb was great. I loved my breakfast sandwich. The thick cut bacon was cooked perfectly. Their home fries were very tasty. My dad and I split them. Will be back.

Food and service was an absolute mess. I have been there a few times thinking it will get better but we always get stuck with a waitress that's in a terrible mood and they always get our food wrong.

So disappointed. We have been going to Ice House for years. It was one of our "go to's", but we will never eat there again. I understand these are difficult times for all, but that is no excuse for poor customer service. I called to let them know I received the wrong cheesesteak. I didn't even have the chance to find out how we could get another one before they placed me on hold and then hung up on me. When I called back they didn't even say anything just immediately hung up. I tried calling from another phone and as soon as they found out it was me, they hung up and then proceeded to block my number. I just wanted to get another cheesesteak. Guess I'll have to find another "go to" place.

The food and service was excellent at Ice House. Our server was very kind and made sure we felt welcome. The sandwiches themselves were delicious; there is a generous amount of steak and cheese on there so it is well worth what it costs. Only thing that was a little disappointing was the portion of the fries and onion rings. Other than that, you need to try Ice House if you're nearby

So there's local eateries, small town diners, and then there's Ice House. There's not too many places that have legitimate breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. Pancakes, wings, cheese-steaks, and an Asian wrap all deserve a try if you haven't had them before.

They do have fresh doughnuts which are delicious. And we have gone in for lunch a couple times in the past and had really nice servers and good food. However, recently this has not been the case. Wednesday I ordered a pizza delivery online that came 30 minutes late and was cold when it arrived. This Saturday morning was also a totally different experience. We arrived to a full restuarant and stood by the "wait to be seated sign". The girl working the front counter stared at us vaguely before staring off into the distance, were eventually told in a monotone voice there was a couple minutes wait, so we sat and waited. A mother and her son walked in and were told the same. 5 minutes passed. A girl from the dining area came up and said table #8 was open. The monotone space cadet at the counter ignored that info and instead asked for help to ring up a ticket order. While she was allowing this other employee to ring up the order for her, another 2 party couple walked in, walked right past the two other parties of 2, walked right past the counter, past the "wait to be seated" sign and sat themselves at table #8!!!! Needless to say we left. Went 10 minutes away to Americana Diner, where we were seated and served with a bright warm friendly smile in less than 10 minutes. Ice House, get it together, drop the dead wait employees and get back to good business before you start to loose business.

Very clean, great service, great tasting Food, old word charm but in a up to date environment. Great place for family or business meetings.

This used to be the ONLY place that I got my wings, the sauce was always excellent, always cooked to perfection, and then recently when I have gone the wings are tiny, the sauce is full of vinegar and they just aren t good, not how they used to be. It s really disappointing because this was my go to place and i haven t found anywhere else that had as good of wings. Seems like they re cutting costs though. Pizza is okay, fried mushrooms are pretty decent compared to other places. Just really upset about the wings, was my go to spot for years and now they re just like everyone else.

Small and very local but great food. A unique approach to pizza with a sharper cheese flavor and slightly browned on top. A welcome change from the typical pizzeria flavor.

Def my Favorite breakfast place!! Also makes a good cheesesteak! Best food place in Pottstown for sure!

This place is great, they have a wide variety of food, they cheese steaks are wonderful and the hoagies are some of the best I've ever eaten. The staff has always been very nice and helpful

Food is ALWAYS great here, no matter what you order. Love their breakfasts, too. I Just can't get there there that early most days. Can't say enough about the food. We took my niece there for her birthday dinner & they saw that we brought a cake. They actually brought her a donut & ice cream with a candle & all sang to her. It was very nice of them & so sweet. Love this place!

Best sandwich shop in pottstown, you would really have to go out of your way to find a better sandwich anywhere.

Great place for take out or dine in. The food is always top notch and sandwiches are stuffed with fresh meats, enough to share because they are so big. Great selection of beers and coolers too. Reasonable prices too.

The best cheesesteaks and strombolis around! We live in Exeter and still pick up from Icehouse because the foods better than out local options.

Our # 1 hangout when we are working in Pottstown Great food Great people!! It's a must
