Good beer, wine, and liqour selection and good produce. Prices are pretty ridiculous though. You can literally find some of the same items at Kroger for half price. Usually this is a last-minute grab-and-go for an extra ingredient we need rather than a weekly shopping trip.

My wife and I shop at Weiland's weekly. The deli department, the liquor store, and the meat shop are to die for, simply the best in the city. The brands they serve like Dare cookies, unique coffees imported from Italy, the cheese selection, and the wine department is what makes the store a wonderful shopping experience. If you haven't gone yet, go!

I went to Weilands for the Wine tasting 4-19-19, it felt as if I were at a wake. The lady serving the Wine seemed highly hormonal and having a bad day. I asked her for the internet password and she claimed they did not have one. My husband and I headed to The Crest and had a fun evening with amazing food and cocktails, Berry Mojito.

Overpriced kitsch. Some decent specialty items, like gator and types of olives or cheeses nowhere else. Still, way too expensive for what they're worth. I was surprised they don't carry prime meat. The butcher I talked to about it fed me a BS story about why and that's fine. I had told him what I paid for prime beef and he tried to say I was a liar, that's not fine. I'll go back in a pinch for the holidays, maybe, and only if I have to.

Our whole family has been going to Weiland's for 2 decades. We love the place. Although pricey, their selection of meat, fish and deli items is great and worth the extra money. We had a horrible experience with a rude manager recently, but that's really an exception. She probably had a very busy day. Overall, everybody has always been nice.

Weiland's Market is a staple of the Clintonville area. This market has everything you need to have great food and a great time with friends and family. They have a huge selection of meats, deli, seafood, produce, prepared foods, alcohol/beer/wine, and all kinds of other specialty gourmet foods you will ever need. If you have not shopped at Weiland's Market, go check it out. You will not be disappointed!

Weilands saved the day for us. We had a 50th Anniversary celebration last Saturday and unfortunately our catering help had to cancel two says before. I called Weilands and ask for some pulled bbq meats and they were able to help. We had pork and chicken and it was delicious. Customer service was great and the kitchen staff were the best. Can't say thank you enough.

Great place to visit but things are on the expensive side. The liquor and beer selection can stand with the best of them in the city and their meats are superb. As I said before though, it's definitely alot more expensive than your regular supermarket but the quality is top notch and I have been recommending this place to everyone I know.

This (owner) K was rude unprofessional and nasty. Telling me to turn around and let me see you put your mask over your nose? Then she had nerves to stare at me Like (what)I'm not child I will never shop there again. Anyone shopping at this establishment please record her so the community can see her for what she really is

The absolute best grocer in the state of Ohio! Amazing produce, incredible meat and by far the friendliest and caring staff out there. Everyone is pleasant and wants to help, it's a throwback to days when people were treated with dignity. I'll be returning again and again!

Very friendly staff, quality fresh meats and seafood and a great selection of beers and other spirits. Fresh baked goods are always delicious and their wine department staff are super knowledgeable and helpful.

This is a gourmet market so they keep staff-friendly hours (no midnight beer runs here) and they don't carry a lot of mainstream brand items because they prefer to focus on specialty items like local organic dairy products, etc.

Nice independently owned neighborhood market with locally sourced goods. Also has a state liquor store with a large selection as well as being a hub for craft beer lovers. Don't expect to get your hands on too many rare things as they tend to play favorites.

Absolutely wonderful, helpful staff. Was looking for a particular liquor, and one staff member in the spirits section spent a good ten minutes trying to help me find it on the shelf after confirming they carried it in their system before resorting to calling their staff in charge of ordering to locate it. Thankfully we found it! I can't be thankful enough.

Yesterday I visited Weilands Market in the early afternoon. I was looking for LARD. OMG! I had never visited this market before so I decided to cruise around and see the whole store. I learned a couple of things:
1. The prices are 5x the normal price of staple items: Who would pay $12.99 a dozen of organic eggs? This is just a ploy to keep RIFF RAFF out of their store, very Trumpish.
2. The customer MUST NOT IMPEDE THE WALKWAY OF THE EMPLOYEES IN ANY MANNER! I was standing at a cooler looking down at the prices when a worker approaches from my left carrying a armful of products. She stops beside me and I look up and see that what she is carrying is in the cooler just to my right. Clearly I was in her way and she wanted me to move - RIGHT DAMN NOW! I even asked her, "Am I in your way?" She nodded her head" yes" and giggled! Okay, that's my sign to get out of this place. I left and won't be going back.
The 2 stars are for the cleanliness of the parking lot, no snow to obstruct parking.

The shop carries high quality products, including produce, as well as every major good you likely need from a grocery store- they even have a nice stock of wine and liquor! Other pantry products may have a smaller selection than some stores, but they make up for it in quality of what they do sell.

Really great customer service here, especially in Beer & Spirits Department, where the deceptively small section contains a dense collection of well curated local and craft labels that are more difficult to track down elsewhere in town. Regular tastings and knowledgeable staff complete the great customer experience here.

I have been shopping at Weiland s for a number of years. As we head into the holidays, I ve been reminded again of all the reasons this is a special store: a vast selection of unique items (including a section of European Christmas items), exceptional meats, delicious prepared foods, the best wine selection at a Columbus grocery, and most of all helpful and friendly service. To a person, these folks want to help you and ensure that you are getting what you need. If you need tips on how to cook that cut of meat you re considering purchasing, ask one of the butchers. If you aren t sure about a cold cut, you ll be offered a slice to try. If you want a sullen cashier who barely acknowledges your presence, head elsewhere because you will be cheerfully greeted and engaged at checkout here. My family and I are so grateful for this store and the people who make it great. Thank you!

Love this store. Employees are nice. Disappointed to see how rude the big wigs are that were there touring while I was shopping. They were not practicing social distancing and were not at all respectful of customers shopping. Big wigs, take a lesson from the regular staff who make your store the best in town!

They have everything I need and at a high quality. The meat counter is always helpful and there is usually someone in the wine section to help you with choosing wines. I love this place. Plus... shop local!

Alcohol -- They have one of the best selections in Columbus [only bested by Arena Wine] for spirits. They often get new products in, but they're great for high end rums and gins.

Food -- The meat section is great, produce is good.

I don't get to this part of town often, but when I do I always run by here. Great options and friendly staff!

I shop at Weiland's at least two or three times a week. I love their selection of specialty grocery items and pre-made single serving items. The staff is exceptional as well. Without fail, they are always friendly and helpful. Every neighborhood should have a Weiland's Market.

From the time I walked in I had gotten very hard and uncomfortable stares! Every corner that I went to I got asked by a worker if I need any help without having time look down that particular aisle. I still chose to go to the cashier and pay for my items. I asked her one question and she said what so nasty I just walked out! I didn't feel comfortable, nor did I feel welcomed. Oh not to mention.......I didn't see not one person of color working in their establishment!

I picked up a crab-stuffed trout on Saturday. I did not know what to expect, but I grilled it in a foil pouch with olive oil, salt and pepper and it was excellent. Sometimes "crab stuffed" is synonymous with "a whole bunch of breadcrumbs". More

Good small market. Fruits and vegetables always look fresh. They have a really nice seafood counter. Seafood is clearly marked if it's farmed or wild. There is a connected liquor store with a wide selection of liquor and craft beer. They have a bunch of pre prepared meals that just need reheated. Pricing is reasonable.
