Great hotel. Best holiday. Wonderful sandbar with house reef. Clean and nicely laid out. Service more than 5 stars. Always fresh drinks and fresh towels on the beach chairs / pool.

We visited this hotel in June 2018, check in was very quick and efficient, the staff were very friendly and took our bags quickly, it was late when we arrived and we were shown to the late night sitting in the buffet restaurant.
The room we stayed in was a family room and was spotless from the day we arrived to when we left, the room was cleaned Daily and we had animals made out of Towels on our bed to the pleasure of our 7 year old, the housekeeping man went out of his way to make sure our 7 year old was amused.
Throughout the day the animation team are around with daily dances and activities, the while team were amazing with all the children on the resort and couldn't make time for them enough,the evening entertainment was enjoyable with shows most evenings and a kids disco.
We used the buffet restaurant most evenings and food was good and catered for children, we used one of the Al la carte restaurants once during our stay, sofra the Oriental restaurant which was amazing the food was delicious, very authentic.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and must thank all the staff that went of their way for us. They were what made our whole holiday. We will definitely return.

Pleasant accommodation, kind and helpful staff. Excellent choice of dishes, we had all inclusive so the supply of food and alcoholic and soft drinks unlimited. There are 2 pools with fresh water, sea and beach, about 350 meters away. The beach was sandy.

Saraya I can recommend with best conscience is now the best hotel in the makadi bay where we were. The food is great and the staff was so friendly and helpful something we have never experienced. We like to come again and again in the Saraya .and the rooms are very clean and big. Also our thanks to the guys from the reception who made us wish. Also the animation team our thanks the are just top. Also all waiter our thanks guys you are all very nice and friendly keep it up.

We had a wonderful holiday here at Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort. Our expectations were exceeded. The hotel area is very large, well maintained and just beautiful! The staff is friendly, courteous and very nice. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean. We have always felt very well. The animation team was very nice and funny. The beach is beautiful with fine sand! We will definitely be back soon! :-)

Room was very nice and always clean, food was varied and very tasty, they were always treated politely and it was immediately taken care of the problems, the staff (entertainment, upper, room service, front desk) were great people and you could tell that all Had fun and everyone was very nice to us.

Nice hotel was a bit old, but very well maintained and clean. We were there in February, was a little choice of food although we are not spoiled. Sushi was only 4 pieces per person, which was issued by Koch.

Great food, very good entertainment, when we come back into our room it is very clean, the morning and afternoon activities are very enjoyable, the staff are very kind and are easy to become friends with.

Medium sized hotel within a huge hotel complex (Madinat Makadi)
The standard double room met our expectations
With good will, on our arrival, the hotel wanted to upgrade us to a junior suite but the air conditioning was defective and it is impossible to spend the night without air conditioning in Egypt (and in August) so we head to a pleasantly located standard double room near the secondary (quiet) hotel swimming pool.
The cleanliness is correct, but on the finishing side, a lot of things need to be reviewed, the reliability of the sanitary facilities, the quality of the joints, the taps, the water pressure, the inexistence of a cold water network in our room.
The bedding was average in our room, and the mattress of another age.

On the beach side, it is located 10 minutes walk from the center of the hotel, and is well signposted (it is possible to cut by a shortcut)
It is a sandy beach then in water successively a mixture of sand / coral / pebbles then fine sand. There are a lot of fish to observe while snorkeling.
It is pleasant, large because it is common to several Jaz hotels and clean.

The food in the hotel's two restaurants is nothing exceptional and often boils down to an international buffet alternating with oriental, Italian, ...
Ditto for the lunchbox, an excursion forced us to order a lunchbox which consisted of: two small dry sandwiches, a carton of fruit juice, a cucumber and a raw tomato, two raw fruits ...
I would definitely not recommend this hotel to those who have "meal" as their primary criteria.

On the personal side, the servers were attentive to all the details during the meals and available. Ditto for the staff at reception who were available and responsive to the slightest problem. On the positive side, one (only) receptionist is French speaking which is appreciable, the rest of the staff speak German or English.

The entertainment in the hotel was varied but usually started quite late (9:30 pm) and the place lacks seating.

We still have a good general feeling of the stay but we will surely head in the future to a hotel or a club with one more star in Egypt.

A wonderful week in a beautiful hotel is behind us. Food and drinks are excellent. Pool very nice. What I wish for would be a proper staircase to the relaxation pool, no ladder otherwise everything would be perfect.

I've been here in Egypt for 7 days and I have to say it was really nice here. The animation was awesome! (I think there should be more for teenagers.) The staff were very nice and for example Snoopy and Bubbles were really nice and cool on it. I would be ready to come here again.

We were totally satisfied and had a very nice holiday. What is just a bit disturbing, are the people who always want to turn something on. Since you had to partially reject something energetic.

This is my first time in Egypt, and it certainly wont be my last, I have experienced some of the best customer service, all the staff work tirelessly to ensure you are having the best time possible. The staff appear to love their jobs and it certainly shows.

The Hotel Mikado is beautiful! The facility is very well maintained and the staff are all very nice and warm! The animation has a lot of fun every day, are all open and funny! Especially the olympic day was really mega funny!

Hotel lovely, all needs met at all times.
Went on 2 trips, the royal cruise was excellent and would defiantly want to go again. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The quad bikes were very exciting, although could have been explained better that we need to take cash with us and a scarf for the bike.
Animation team are lovely in the hotel, they are always excited and will speak to anyone about anything they need. Will sort out any problems we may have (although not had any) the night time entertainment has been good. Although more crowd involvement could happen at times.

The hotel rooms are clean and are cleaned up every day. The food is very good and different every day. The entertainers are very nice and really funny. Only to be recommended !!!
