Iannella and Mummolo Review

After a debilitating, work related injury I was denied my social security.
I had several quality physicians confirm my condition and one doctor whom the social security office recommended contradicted the others. The SSI doc, didn t even do a thorough examination.

I started an appeal because I couldn t believe I was denied with this life changing injury which was permanent. O hired The
Law Offices of Iannella and Mummolo.
They handled everything and I won the appeal.

This law firm is wonderful. they fight for you no matter what. i had a wonderful experience. And i would recommend them to anyone fighting for Social Security disability.

I used them because they claimed to be specialized only in getting SSDI claims through. In the end, they did what they said. My problem with all of it, is that it took almost 3 years, during which I had at least 5 different paralegals. Because of this CONSTANT change, deadlines were missed that could have allowed my case to get approved faster. If you think you're going to talk to a lawyer, think again. I never was able to talk to anyone other than a paralegal and they were all great but each one was thrown into my case where I had to continually re-explain my case, doctors list, etc. As a person in pain and trying to get by on zero income, and where they informed me of a missed date they added frustration to an already frustrating situation. I never even got assigned an attorney until a week before my case was going before a judge. My lawyer was ultimately very nice and got the job done the day before so that I didn't have to actually appear. If you have tons of resources and can live independently for a significant time period then this is a good firm for you. I had to use up every resource I had in savings to get through the waiting, when if the date they missed hadn't been missed, I'd still have some money.

My husband has been waiting for years fighting with disability. With this team, first woman didn't do much, was on vacation often and we had to call to be told it was denied, we never even got a denial letter... then we got this new guy a couple months ago, he was more helpful, more involved with calling us with updates.... haven't heard for a few weeks so my husband just called, got some kid who said he was now in charge of the case as our other guy was moved to attorney?! Shouldn't an attorney be handling our case as its in court processes?! What the hell!!

Everyone was very professional they were very diligent and they went through a lot of records and doctors to help me get my disability. I recommend them highly .

I. The beginning of the process which was about a 2 1/2 years was great... I had to keep pushing my case managers, which was very many. Noone would tell me if the person was gone.. Noone did any follow up with me on a regular basis. Which was very disappointing... yes I won but took forever. I got turned downs couple times and then and to really push for them to do it the third time... I lost everything before winning case. This law office always stressed me out. Not really anyc omfort inthe matter...I wouldn't call them again if I knew I was dealing with 10different people...very frustrating!
Bottom line won but it had alot to do with me with all the follow ups I had to do. I did most of the work...I just wished I would of went to someone else overall....

This is an outstanding and understanding law office I highly recommend them.

Over 2 years since my case was filed. Denial/appeal all the way up to judicial review. Now they want me to drop the next appeal & start a new claim. Since I haven't been able to work in over 5 years due to disability, SS would just deny a new claim without appeal. This is not what I was led to believe would happen with my case at all and I seriously regret ever calling this firm.

My mother attained the services of this company after becoming disabled and being injured. They got her SSI and were paid. They received money for the case as well as money for my minor brother. There were 2 bills and my brother receives a small monthly amount. My brother has chronic lyme and my mother has many medical conditions. The company changed her paralegal multiple times and she told them that she wanted to file for my brother and his disability also and she thought they were doing just that and they were not. My mother being ill and not understanding how this case went and the lack of the paralegals listening to her has caused her to have to deal with SSI on her own, while being very ill. If you are hired to do a job and are paying for representation you would think you would get what you asked for but not with this company. My mother is being billed for medical records and they have been paid by SSI for both her and my minor brother, and with little to no benefit. My brothers lyme has made it very hard for my mother to take care of him because she is struggling herself. What are Lawyers for?

I had previously attempted to secure my disability benefits on my own and after several failed attempts I was directed to Iannella and Mummelo. No attorneys in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex would take my case. While I was on the disability website reading to try and figure out what to do, I see there are questions on the side panel and I answered the questions. Once answered, I was redirected and was reading this new attorney information and my phone rang. The rest is history. It was a long hard road thru my pain, surgeries, therapy and doctors appointments. Everyone worked tirelessly and always kept me informed on what was going on. For my court dates, the attorneys would fly in, meet with me and prepared me for court. I can t say enough to let everyone know that this is the firm to trust! They did an amazing job!

Lots of Promises NO follow thru! I have in writing that I have a "Strong Case". I was told by the Para legal to figure 1 year. I was just denied a 2nd time and now I'm told 16 to 20 additional months before a hearing will take place!?!? I was advised to quit work which I did (Barely able to work part time) and start using a cane , why?? Using a cane had NOTHING to do with the reason I was filing a claim to begin with. I would not recommend this Law office. Find someone who cares a little!

My calls were always either answered or promptly returned. You are assigned a paralegal who knows you and your case.if he/she doesn t know the answer to your question they will get back to you but that only happened with one of my questions. I would definitely recommend!!

Attorney assigned to me did not do a good job. Only focused on 1 of my multiple ailments I have. My SSI disability claim was denied. I could have done a better job. Just felt he didn't want to deal with it or be there. I am going to someone else that has more experience. And local I'm in California. Maryland is too far. Good luck.

My case took some time, but once the court hearing dates were set, it moved fairly quick. I was pleased with my attorney during my hearing and how they handled my information.

Excellent service from a very distinguished set of knowledgable attorneys. Mr. Iannella is well versed in personal injury and social security law.

Would recommend this law firm to anyone looking to obtain their disability. I was able to get my disability approved in 1 yr. 8 mths. The follow-up was great!!

I feel like some of the other clients, this law firm will not answer calls will not offer update to your case. It is so strange that a law office doesn't have an answering service or a secretary that take message. When I do call there is one female that answers the phone and pretend to be so one else. When you dial the ext. the phone just rings. I feel that this firm prey on the less fortunate. I've been out of work for a year because of cancer and congested heart failure and this firm can care less about what my family and I are going through. They seem to be scam artist and need to be investigated. I give them no stars but the only way you can post is to rate them. Shame on them for their fault representation.

This firm did a wonderful job helping me with my case. When it came down to my hearing the attorney was very professional and did an excellent job on my behalf representing me. I won my case and if it was not for The Office workers at Iannella and Mummolo for contacting me before my hearing to get regular updates on Dr. visits this would not been possible. My friend in Roanoke Virginia got them as his disability attorneys they nailed it the first time I've never seen it before and I've been in the law business for 32 years they're not even from around here but evidently they show up quite often and are hearing offices in Roanoke to God be the glory that he pointed them out to my friend who had lost his hearing for disability twice before I was the reason why he was disabled so I felt really bad when he didn't get it but we prayed and they came they were knowledgeable and they were aggressive and they kept in touch with him stuff that other attorneys for disability or SSI just don't do so I give them 5 stars and a fist pump

talked on the phone for 3 min with the representative, who did nothing but attack me for trying to find a solution to my problem. i have daily abdominal pain that makes it hard to move, pain so intense i causes me to faint at least 3 times a week. it wasn't that said he wouldn't be able to help me, it was the reps complete arrogance. He got on the phone looking for a fight, when all i needed was help. reps final quote "we have no interest in helping you". So why send me an email telling me to call them, they have my application with all my info. If your gonna be rude and impatient with people who are genuinely sick or in need of help. don't make them call you for that treatment. Thats not what is necessary, just say no don't be a jerk.

I am so very grateful for this wonderful group of lawyers. The young lady I worked with was kind, patient, professional and very, very good at her job. She was on top of every detail, met every deadline and always had time to answer my questions. When I had issues getting insurance thru NY, she wrote a letter explaining I was applying for disability and was not working. It was exactly what I needed
She was the key that gathered all the info, got all the Dr. Reports, and interfaced with the people who actually made the determination. i wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to come here. Especially when it involves an issue as serious as your health and well being. if i could give one star i would my wife was involved in car accident with severe back injuries. she was in physical therapy for over 7 months they have had our case for over a year. we heard nothing back the first three months of the case so we called they assured us they were working on it and doing everything they could. two more months went by heard nothing so we called again and requested our file they said we cant have it and they will transfer it to there best attorney. we gave them another chance and said okay now a year later we finally got fed up from not receiving any information on our case nor getting a settlement. we went to another attorney he legally requested my wife's file come to find out a whole year passed and they did absolutely nothing. they didn't even follow up with hospital nor physical therapy no bills have been covered. we literally are starting over from scratch at this point with a new personal injury attorney. thank god he made us aware of all this. i don't recommend anyone to use this law office its a scam they will not update you and they will not work on your case. you will wait and wait and then realize they didn't even touch your case. just a bunch of empty promises. i wish i could give them negative stars. they absolutely suck

I thought it was going to be an impossible task for me to get my SSI/Disability having not filed before but this group proved me wrong. They did everything they said they were going to do. They dealt with my impatience and moments I was feeling discouraged by keeping me updated and encouraging me to not give up. I now have a monthly income and looking back I couldn't have found better people to work with on this. I encourage anyone seeking to get their benefits to give this firm a call. I don t really know what to say about this situation I was hurt focusing on getting better I really didn t know what to do or what this event or that meant I ve never walked the legal woods before I made contact with this law firm with no real expectations and they took it from there I had more important things like walking and breathing

If I could negative score I would. Mike is unbelievably rude and so is the other guy I spoke with on the phone. I was simply asking questions about disability and they treated me so poor I can't believe they are in business. Go somewhere else. They guys are scum!

Iannella and Mummolo really fought hard to get my disability. Most days out of the week I am unable to do more than sit, lie down or just watch TV. With three muscular skeletal diseases, I am not able to even help my family, Iannello and Mummolo recognized that I needed the Social Security Disability insurance I've been paying into since I was 14 years old. They had one of their highly skilledvattorneys fly to Pennsylvania to go into court for me. I highly recommend their law offices.

Do not hire this company. It took them four years on my case. And on top of that, they screwed me out of a very significant amount of money by not putting my son on the application. The whole reason I was considered fully disabled is because I suffer from a botched C-section which gave me severe nerve damage in the abdomen. I would recommend hiring somebody local.

Thanks to the law offices of iannella and Mummolo i was able to win my ssdi case and was awarded the maximum social security benefts i qualified for. i do not recommend you apply for benefits without their help. i thought i had a "slam dunk" case. i was clearly disabled after a stroke but the Social security administration denied my initial claim but thanks to the layers i was able to get my case reviewed more closely and they determined i was disabled after my lawyers got involved.

Lack of communication was an issue, but most importantly the secretary that answer's the phone was rude and very unprofessional. I felt that anytime I called it was disturbing her, and even heard her sigh a couple times after asking to speak with an attorney there...then I feel they we're way to expensive!

I won my hearing with the judge. So I not only received SSD but the monthly amount was better than I had thought. I lost the first time, second time - nope, third time I didn t win. I ended up having to go to hearing with judge and attorney Mike. It took me almost 3 years which was very hard and drained my retirement account. I did get back pay for 2 years as SSD disallows you re first year. My back pay check came in 10 days after hearing. The staff was very friendly and attorney Mike was great.

They went above and beyond representing me on my disability case. They explained the process to me and told me what best and worst case scenario would be. After talking with them and hearing their confidence in my case it made me feel more at ease with the process. This law office filed and completed my SSDI case for me, including a court appearance. While communications were sometimes far in between contacts, they were in touch for every important deadline. They took the vast majority of the paperwork off of my hands. While the case took quite awhile (nearly a year), that is due to the Social Security Administration's workload. On court appearance day, I was provided representation that was very professional in explaining the procedure and my expectations. Once the court appearance was completed, I received a decision that was favorable. Counsel for the applicant is paid directly by the court eliminating another potential headache. I would not hesitate to recommend Ianella and Mummolo to represent you for an SSDI application.

My attorney did a great job presenting my case to the judge. He had the skills and knowledge necessary to show the judge that my medical condition was deserving of SSD coverage.

Can I give zero stars?

Regarding my SSDI case:

They were totally incompetent.

The initially got my address wrong.

They said the would call me "in a few days" after initial consultation. Finally I CALLED THEM after waiting almost a month.

They accomplished nothing: no paperwork was ever properly filed by their office.

I was contacted by Karen from the SSDI office because I&M never got the paperwork filed. I had to do everything myself, and Karen was kind enough to do a phone interview with me to get the necessary information.

Because of my own efforts I got approved for SSDI but got no "back pay." To make matters worse, I&M then filed a "fee petition" against me trying to collect $250/hr for phone calls made before I even agreed to retain them, and for other calls I made to them that were only necessary due to their own incompetence.

I could go on and on about all that transpired, but space limitations require me to cut it short.

Stay away from this incompetent law firm.

I answered an online disability form and got a follow up email w/ their name as the attorneys picked to give me a free consultation. It says they ll be in touch with me the following business day. It s now been just over 2 weeks with no calls. I called them yesterday and wasn t able to get anyone on the phone. No way to leave a message. I have no faith in this company. Happy I researched reviews. I have to believe that the 5 star reviews are from friends planted there to distract us from all the 1 & 2 star reviews. I believe the majority of people!

When I 1st spoke with them, they were on top of it, calling me asking how each of my appointments went; they not only listened but they actually cared for my well being.
