Very comfortable and central location. Strange elevator system acts like a taxi. You request the floor out side and are directed to elevator A, B, C, D, or E. The rooms are modern and clean. I could hear an adjoining room client on the phone a little bit probably because of a common door. It's too bad fancy hotels don't offer breakfast. Whole foods is about a mile away along with other breakfast joints and McD and Tim Horton's and Starbucks are downstairs .

Hyatt is located in the heart of downtown. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable.
Since slippers and toothbrushes are not always available, it is best for Japanese travelers to bring them with them!
The reception was checked in by a person who speaks Japanese. High performance in all!
Caution! The elevator can only be used in your own room, so you need a card key to do anything. You can't reach the room unless you recognize your destination floor with a card and board.

Where to begin. I'll have stayed at many hotels over the past 12-15 years traveling for but work an pleasure. I have never been disappointed with a Hyatt Regency. The Hyatt Regency Downtown Vancouver is the standard. Everyone was extremely thoughtful and welcoming. From the front desk to restaurant servers, to valet and even housekeepers. The hotel was smack on Burrard St one of the main drives through downtown. Also the hotel sits directly across from a skytrains/subway line connection. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast buffet was exceptional. Omelettes made to order and waiter even had the kitchen cook a waffle for our table since it was pancake day on the buffet line. Club room came with access to a private room on the 29th floor where snacks and light fare and beverages are served all day. Alcoholic beverages are additional. Won't soon forget the luxury and hospitality of this hotel anytime soon.

Wonderful staff, very well managed , white glove service. These guys made a point of learning the name some Behavior patterns of each customer.
All I did was come down twice around the same time at every night your brother night, sleeping around for food so what day did 10 minutes before I Disturbed night they called upstairs and said you had last night.... Those are very well designed very clean. Huge windows out of them to her beautiful view around surrounding it...
Even the bellhops on the debates were respectable.
For business hundred percent... Probably hands down the best business Hotel in Vancouver.
I had lost my passport I do not have any ID trying to check-in date but I was at the other hotels in the same city... Going to come by after instead of showing me away called around to the other hotels that I was at and found out exactly who I was and came out and check me right in.
Family following the rules and policies but also flexibility that's what is respected. Amazing work all around

This hotel is super busy and huge. Lobby so crowded all times due to people either an in house guest, walk in to the starbucks coffee which is located by the lobby and people attending the conference.

A very urbanized type of Hyatt brand located in a very busy burrard street. Rooms are very clean and modern.

King bed is not a long bed, despite paying a premium to get one. Asked to honour the online price when checking in at 12:30am walk-in and the concierge wouldn't do so. Coffee was cold in the restaurant and no refills were offered for ages. Salad was covered in oil. Waitresses seemed inpatient. Honestly, I'm not an overly fussy person but this experience left a bad taste with me. Stayed here before and lived it. This weekend was the last time I will ever stay here.

This Hotel in Vancouver downtown has a poorly unprofessional check in stuff. The booking was handled by my University while when I got here they asked for a credit card in order to take 50 bucks as security deposit, while when we sent CC authorisation form they did mention anything about it. They also mentioned the breakfast is not included just when I got here, such a shame nowadays even a most ridicules motel gives you a breakfast when you book a room. The internet is locked for 24 hours while I am gonna stay here for 4 nights. None of internet and excluded breakfast was mentioned during booking as a policy which pretty much shows they are cheating. Even the check in manager didn't have a business card to give me when I asked for.
Don't get fool with this hotel as it looks nice but they will act like a budget hotel.

In the center of the city, it is convenient that the express stop from the airport is right around the corner. There is neither excess nor shortage of facilities and services. Because elevators are not found in Japan very much (the destination floor is specified on the touch panel, which elevator will be displayed), so it may be confusing at first.

The location is great, shopping is easy and convenient, close to shopping streets and shopping malls. The only thing that needs to be improved is that there are too few front desk staff, and it usually takes a long time to get you.

The rooms are large and the beds are large. If you are new to elevator usage, you will have trouble. It is stress that the soap can not slip easily because of the water quality. The porter here is excellent.

As always a great place to stay, however my room had a loud, annoying howling sound (probably a pipe or something) but i couldnt sleep really all night. It is an older building (i know now) but this should be fixed. The staff refunded my valet charge as a fix, which is better than nothing, but i do expect more from a hotel on the level of Hyatt.

Excellent hotel right downtown. It is right next to a transit station which is very convenient. It is located close to many shops, which is great if you like shopping. The hotel was nice and modern, and so was my room. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were very pleased with our stay. Information regarding parking (which was very reasonable) and sightseeing was well informed and appreciated
Cleaning staff were excellent! We ended up dining mostly at the hotel's Mosaic Grill because the food was incredible and service impeccable.

This place is great if you want to be in the middle of the action. You can walk just about anywhere from here, and we did. There s a Starbucks in the lobby and adequate dining nearby.

It seems to be the place to be for conferences since it was always crowded (and Loud) in the lobby and on the 2nd floor.

Summary - I did not feel like this qualified as a luxury hotel
Pros - location, service, room size
Cons - noise level, mattress quality, crowded

Our room was very spacious, came with average closet storage and a sizable work desk/space. more geared toward business clientele. There are extra plugs in the desk for laptops and such as well. The windows in the room were floor to ceiling, complete with blackout curtains.

However, it left much to be desired. Although we were on the 18th floor, it sounded as though we were on street level. The sirens from the street sounded so ridiculously close it would wake us up in the middle of the night. The building/rooms felt outdated, which was evident by the lack of proper noise insulation including between rooms. When neighbors come back to their room in the middle of the night it sounded as if they were entering our room. The sound was intensified by the constant slamming of heavy doors. The bed felt comfortable initially, but it lacked support leading me to believe it was simply an old, once firm bed.

This is an extremely busy hotel but it is also very clean and quiet. The staff show a lot of pride. The team are very helpful, kind, and caring. The rooms are large and comfortable. Because this hotel is located in the CBD, the area shuts down after 6pm. There are many homeless people by this hotel but I never felt unsafe and was never harassed. This is a perfect base to explore the region.

The residence is pretty clean. Cleaners do not always do their jobs properly. However my stars are mostly because of value for money. You can find a better and cleaner hotel in Vancouver with much less rate. The parking is also very expensive in that area.
