great hotel and very convenient with station nearby
Great location and nice hotel. The corner rooms are huge.
Amazing views of downtown. Large rooms with a desk you can actually work on. Walking distance to just about everything.
Great location and service. Front desk staff very helpful.
Attended the Leo awards. Great setting and service.
Great place to stay while on vacation. Low occupancy on weekends.
Great location and although the workers are on strike. The service continues to be great! Hope they settle soon however, for the sake of the workers and their families!
Very well run hotel from everything I saw. We only stayed one night here but is one of the best locations in downtown. Walking distance to shopping, to restaurants, and to the bars & clubs. We didn t have to take a taxi once to do everything we wanted. Would certainly recommend and I will stay here again.
Great location, customer service and facilities. Attended the ICEF event there, managed the program very well. Food and refreshments were delicious.
Lovely hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. They gave me a corner room with balcony and a lovely view.
Love the location. Love the updated, spacious rooms!
Very modern and professional. Even the elevators were fancy.
Excellent staff. The valet that greeted us was super friendly and opened our car door for us and carried in our luggage. Room was awesome, comfortable beds, nice washroom with an awesome shower. I liked that they had a Starbucks in the lobby. The elevators were cool too. This was close to all the shops and restaurants no need to take your car just walk. Would definitely recommend this one.
Service on the restaurant was great along with the food
Excellent location yes and train burrad station from which you can move around Vancouver and nearby cities, in the center of the city from here you can take several shuttle and bus from different capilano whistler Tours etc very attractive, close to restaurants, shopping malls and different areas of interest beautiful hotel excellent care and highly recommended price
Nice hotel that's clean and safe and has easy room access. It's right beside the sky train stop and has many close convenient restaurants and convenience stores. I used to stay at the Sheraton wall center but now prefer the Hyatt. It's better overall and usually a bit cheaper.
Great meeting spot to catch up with friends in the lobby.
Nice rooms, really comfortable beds, and good temperature control. Would have liked a fan in the bathroom. Also the elevators are really smooth without much wait. Close by to quality dining and great shipping locations. Quality stay
Seems like an amazing hotel! Centrally located and plenty of tour buses stop right alongside it.
Comfortable rooms. Wonderful pool, hot tub, gym option (which promptly closes at 10pm). Staff is amazing. Kudos to the concierge! So amazing! Grain, the hotel bar, was open late so wet could get drinks street singing on late flights. The waitress had great recommendations. Super decent breakfast buffet considering the price. Very close to all downtown amenities and transit.
Most of the people who leave impressed and mesmerized comments need to be undeceived perhaps through more travel around the world and see how other 4-star hotels in touristic destinations (except for Istanbul!) in other parts of the world fare better in comparison with this one, when you account for the vehemently higher price that you pay for a single night in this hotel.
I stayed for about 4 nights in Hyatt Regency Vancouver, in a very beautiful (and expensive room). Obviously, as is a presupposed axiom for all 4-star hotels in the civilized world, the room was clean, well-managed, with a lovely terrace overlooking admirable scenery, comfortable bed and bedding, satisfactory toilet and bath room. However, for anything above $400, you can always gets these features so easily. Whatever happened to competitive pricing and value for money!
The staff are super nice, and they know their job really well. You feel welcomed and hosted warmly. Overall, I enjoyed my experience in Hyatt Regency Vancouver, but I believe in comparison with similar hotels, it is overpriced.
We stayed last Thu. 9/19/19. The workers were on strike, very loudly. Even though I also belong to a union, I didn't approve their antics, picketing on a narrow but busy street with lots of pedestrians, making really loud noise. A menace to many. I could even hear the noise across the street inside a CIBC branch.
Even with a very difficult situation, the hotel staff was incredibly professional and helpful. The room was spotless. The breakfast was served as a buffet, and I believe that it was better than how I remembered the previous one. But sadly the Starbucks inside the hotel was closed.
Hopefully the work stoppage would be resolved soon and to the satisfaction of both parties. And the hotel comes back to its full potential. With all the noises, would I stay again? Yes.
Great Hotel, comfortable stay. In the heart of downtown, walking distance to subway station which connects directly to the airport.
Nice hotel. Was here for a conference. Food was good.
Attended a trade show here. All the staff I dealt with were fantastic and customer service was top notch.
Beauty place highly recommended to anyone staying in vancouver
Great staff members working there !
I'm interested into people's opinions and I'm telling you that, the HYATT REGENCY in Vancouver, has the funniest, most entertaining and at the same time, super professional members !
The hotel is very clean and LARGE. Quite big for the location. Super customer service and definitely I'll visit it again...
Great work guys !
Excellent customer service. Very clean rooms and a great location to discover downtown Vancouver . Sky train station and Buses at your door step.
Comfortable, and easily the quietest room I've stayed at in awhile, the room was very large with an ample balcony and a spacious desk for getting work done. Wifi access was easy and worked well. The gym consists mostly of aerobic equipment (treadmills, stairmasters, and bikes), but has a small assortment of weightlifting stations and free weights. The pool is outdoor, small and tends to be pretty crowded - it was undergoing maintenance for most of my stay, and there is a fairly large hot tub which seemed nice. A Starbucks in the lobby is also very busy, and the hotel bell hop was timely and generous enough to let me keep my bags stowed there for an additional day after my checkout. Checkout itself was painless and quick.
Quite a nice place to stay. Service is good and friendly. Especially convenient if you plan to take a bus to whistler because the bus station is just beside it.
Large, clean rooms, but nothing too exciting. Service is always good and its nice that they offer corporate rates here. Very convenient location - access to the skytrain and the general downtown area is second to none.
This was my first time in Vancouver. The hotel staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. I only ended up staying the night so I was unable to experience all the amenities available.
Went for the gingerbread house exhibit and was not disappointed. Great venue for what I understand to be a yearly holiday season tradition, and the work was exceptional. Highly recommended.
A bit expensive but otherwise it has everything you need
Good location in city center Vancover.nearbly shopping center
Very impressed with the Hyatt Regency in Vancouver. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and they even followed through on the request I made in my notes to "please tape a picture of Nicholas Cage in an action scene to the bathroom mirror".
Just top quality all the way around.
Business trip. Room was fine, staff friendly. Good location.
Attended an overnight event in one of their event halls. Room was comfortable, service staff were excellent.
A great hotel all around. Friendly staff, well organized and the shower pressure is fantastic!
Terrible elevator service. They need to fix the software on this
The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are fashionably decorated. Large flat screen tv's and ,if on a higher floor, a great view of the city
Great service even during holiday busy season. The hotel is connected to a wonderful shopping mall as well
Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Could use an electric kettle in them.
Went for a professional development session on Electrical Power Systems. The Service was really good, specially the food.
Nice location downtown. Very clean. Booked on internet in advance to get good rate. Forced to stay couple more nites due to bad weather at destination (hurricane in FL) they could care less and doubled my rate.
The elevators were really annoying, but the view was great and the restaurant was good food and service.
A great hotel for staying in downtown Vancouver.
The exterior of the hotel, the wallpaper, and doors betray the hotel's age, but Hyatt clearly kept the hotel up to date.
The bed is plush. The bathroom is updated with a smart, contemporary design featuring a full shower tub and spacious vanity.
There is an initial odd odor but goes away quickly once you turn the HVAC on for a few minutes.
The only downside is the parking. It's expensive, so unelss you really need your car, you probably don't want it. Talk to the front desk to figure out if it's more cost effective for you to use the hotel's rate or the lot's commercial rate.
If you don't know what to do nearby, I suggest visiting Stanley Park on a nice day. We rented a bike and easily made it around the entire park even though we're a bit out of a shape.
If you like food, especially Asian/Japanese, take a walk down Robson St and you'll have many options in 0.5 - 2km (0.5-1.5 mi).
Nice clean bright rooms. Stores and restaurants next door .tims too
My daughter and I enjoyed an overnight stay in a lovely room on the 21st floor. The room was spacious and immaculate; our beds were wonderfully comfortable and welcoming. I look forward to another lovely stay at the Hyatt soon.
Location downtown is perfect. The rooms were basic but good. Service was gentle and friendly. The best part was the beer selection at the bar!
Really good food. Excellent service from staff. Rooms are very large very clean
Very nice hotel, room was spacious, staff were great
Doesn t look like much from the outside but inside is very nice inside. It s modern and is close to everything! The staff are kind and helpful. The room was very clean. The beds were so comfortable . Bathroom was large. Went there for a night for a concert which was walking distance . The hotel price included the buffet breakfast . The buffet was amazing. Fruits meats cheeses breads yoghurt oatmeal cereals eggs bacon potatoes and a omelet bar and more . Was so good and the variety would suit any eater. There is also a very large workout room and a outdoor heated pool and hot tub. It was cool being on the second floor with all the towers surrounding the pool area. The view from our room was amazing as well. The topper to this stag was they allowed to check in at 11am so we could attend the event that started early and we had a late check out with no problems. Definitely will return . Great experience!
Clean and modern hotel.
Unbeatable location.
Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. I called the day before and let them know that I was arriving early and asked if the room could be ready upon arrival. Check in is at 4pm and I was arriving at 1pm, and the room was ready!
Concierge service was great in providing restaurant suggestions as well as walking routes for sightseeing.
Room is very clean, spacious and has a large bathroom with a rain shower feature.
A great hotel and I would definitely recommend this for your stay in Vancouver.
Awesome high end modern hotel at a great location. Get the upgraded rooms on higher floors with amazing views of the water and mountains. Everything is top notch here, centrally located to all major attractions and neighborhoods.
