WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! asked for a pet friendly room everything was great I got 2 beds. Then we go to our room after a while and they knock on our door saying this isn t a pet friendly room which made no sense. Because multiple people seen us with the dog the guy at the front desk the bell boy. I just didn t get it, so we re sleeping and forced to change rooms at 9 when we re already sleeping with my 1 year old so I have to wake him up then he s screaming and my dogs barking because he s screaming and it was just a mess then we have to go to room with With only one bed it was just not good ugh Great place depending on what staff is working because I spoke to the manager Sarah and she was very rude and unprofessional especially since this was there mistake.
Great location. We got upgraded to the cottage and it had direct access to the lake. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Service was quick and interaction with employees was pleasant. Great restaurant options and fine dining by the lake.Highly recommended.
Nice resort, good location with reasonable price. Very close to both the lake and ski.
As a Hyatt gold passport member, this was the immediate choice for our quick transit via north Lake Tahoe and we were very satisfied. For those hitting the area to ski, there are buses departing from the property to diamond peak ski resort once every less-than-30min. They also have an on site ski-necessities rental. The heated pool and hot tub surrounded by snow were awesome, and the spa offers comprehensive services. As a platinum Hyatt member, we were upgraded to an executive room which was great. There's a casino attached to the property for those wanting to try a hand. The higher floors offer a stunning view of Lake Tahoe and the slopes. Atleast 3 options for in house dining. In all, great value for what you pay; greater for Gold passport members.
Nice hotel with decent amenities. Not sure it lives up to it's Hyatt category, but my room was clean and updated.
Great for events. Oliver and Kendra will take care of you.
Let's see, where to start? Our stay at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe started off on a good note, however quickly went sour. We were married in South Lake Tahoe and decided to travel to North Lake Tahoe for a short honeymoon. Once arrived, we were greeted kindly, checked in, given a bottle of champagne, parking paid for and a voucher for 2 free items from hotel grocer. Great start. We headed to our room, excited to see our deluxe king room with a great view. We were disappointed to be placed in a ADA room with a view of everyone lounging by the pool, not the pool itself. Not feeling romantic, we called down to request a different room. We were quickly moved to another room, no problem, however we then ended up with a view of the parking lot. We settled in and decided to just deal and enjoy the time we had there. Later that evening we were woken up at midnight to what sounded like a turbine engine outside our window. Terrifying. Once again moved on. It's now 8:15AM the following morning, our only day to sleep in together, we are woken up by construction workers cutting metal outside our window. Construction at 8AM at a 4 star resort? I understand things need to be fixed, but maybe after 10AM? We weren't feeling very picture perfect honeymoon at this point. I called down to speak with front desk. I spoke with Garrett who kindly offered to move us to a new room. After contemplating, we were leaving early the next AM, we did not want to pack everything up to move. Garrett offered to take care of our breakfast and dinner. He dropped off a bottle of wine in our room while at dinner. Garrett also provided points on our account to visit a Hyatt again for a better experience. We were blown away by Garrett's efforts in turning our bad experience around. He truly went above and beyond to ensure the rest of our visit was made up for. As we understand things happen, we encountered quite a few at our stay at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe. With Garrett's efforts we ended up leaving happy and without a bad taste in our mouth. The way the Hyatt handled these issues, we will definitely be back!
The resort has much more to it than a regular hotel. There are multiple restaurants, lakeside activities, a casino, etc.
The food and drinks were so overpriced and under inspired that I was glad to get out of there. My Sashimi appetizer had skin still attached and was full of gristle! Just ok food for what I thought would cater to discerning tastes.
Casino resort in Incline Village. It's ugly on the outside but typically Tahoe inside. Great large pool for kids, 3-4 feet deep, plus a very shallow kiddie pool and two hot tubs, one reserved for adults. The bar and good poolside is, of course, ridiculously expensive.
Beautiful hotel around Lake Tahoe we enjoyed our stay very much.
Great hotel. The gym has peleton bikes, which is a nice touch.
Great place and I always win something at the casino.
Just a day trip to the hotel. Very nice staff, great boat rental service on the lake.
Always a first class hotel and resort. Love the rooms and the pool is heated in the winter.
Check in was quick and easy, very personable front desk employees!! Champagne upon arrival certainly didn't hurt, either. Stayed for two nights in the main hotel and it was wonderful. Clean room, great location in relation to the lake. We dined at the Sierra Cafe three times during our stay and all three times had the server Gabriel. He was wonderful! Very attentive and friendly. Overall everything was excellent and I would highly recommend! Love Hyatt!
Always a pleasure to stay here, the staff are so helpful and the resort is gorgeous. Our family has been coming here for years, and always have a wonderful time.
Nice rooms and service. Hyatt is still not fully understanding of their rewards program though.
Visited the Hyatt for a quick bite after we canceled ski planes due to weather. The bar area is nice with a decent number of televisions so we could watch March madness as well as champions league soccer. The food was a bit overpriced, but understandable for a Tahoe resort. The staff were helpful and attentive to our requests. Surprisingly that there is only one bathroom, but it was well kept. The casino floor was dead and could have been more attractive, perhaps it is nicer in the evenings. I would visit again if I were in the area.
It was nice, good service and loved the beach and the jet skies.
Had a great time would definitely go back and stay hear
Nice but probably a bit overpriced. For sure this is a nice hotel. But I think they get away with charging a little bit more then it's worth because they are the only game in town. We went midweek and the rates were 600 + a night. Plus $36 + night Resort fee plus $18 a night for self parking. We did get a nice room with a pool View. Room had comfy beds. The bathroom had nice tile but was small and had a tub with a plastic shower curtain. The view from the room was from a little cubby hole from the window seat. Again it is a nice hotel but for almost $700 a night with the add-on fees I've definitely stayed in nicer places.
Amazing experience and full use of the pools and hot tubs. Two thumbs up!
Go to South Lake Tahoe, I have always had great customer service with Harrah's and Harvey's but the Hyatt does NOT care about their guests. Brian is the worst guest services manager I have ever dealt with!
On top of one of the worst dinner experiences I have ever had I had to speak with Brian who was not even trying to help us. He was very rude and condescending about everything we said to him. Sarcasm and a rude attitude is not how you help guests. I will tell ALL my friends to avoid this place, for $650 a night I will gladly go elsewhere.
Okay, fact, construction going on in casino. But awesome job minimizing disruptions. Awesome room, great location, great workout facility, friendly staff, loved it.
Great place to visit!! The food choices are pretty similar but the atmosphere is fantastic. Service is great. We stayed on Regency floor and looked forward to breakfast at Club daily.
Amazing staff, amazing upgrades, amazing views and very well taken care of!!
First time at this property and it was really wonderful. Friendly and caring staff, excellent spa and great dining right on the lake.
Great location! Valet gave me a ride home from the wedding banquet I was attending!
A great place to inhale a bunch of stale Smoky air up in the Tahoe region
Visited this boutique hotel on my visit to Lake Tahoe in Nevada on the border to Northern California. We had our breakfast and then tour the hotel. The rooms are spacious modern and airy. We had a great time to play in the casino and won 10$. Will visit them once again when we plan a trip to California and Nevada.
Very nice piece of property situated right on the lake. Private beach, dining options and a casino make it a great place to visit. Not the cheapest place in town though.
Dog friendly. Excellent rooms. Wonderful experience all around.
We went to drink and gamble. The casino has a high buy in for table games making it less desirable, but lots of slots which were awesome. Great trip!
Lovely property with well kept grounds. Friendly staff and great amenities with a unbeatable location.
Beautiful hotel resort and casino in Tahoe. The restaurant on the beach is amazing. It's called The Lone Eagle Grill. Beautiful setting right on the lake! With indoor and outdoor seating weather permitting, and a fire pit area. Excellent food and drinks.
The most hospital staff I have ever encountered in the U.S. My wife and I relax, we party, we eat, drink and sleep like champions every time. I highly recommend this Hyatt.
Nice hotel but they charge you a $37 per day resort fee and try to charge you $22 per day to park which is completely ridiculous.
It is a rather expensive hotel, but of course the quality of the hotel also compensates for the price, besides the one that is practically on the shore of the lake beach is very good, the restaurants and services that the hotel has are very satisfactory for One as a client, so yes, I recommend the Hyatt, and also the rental of jet skis, a very good activity offered by the hotel, the time I went I had an amazing time and I didn't want to leave.
A little hazy due to wildfires but still a great day
A beautiful location and very happy and friendly staff.
We stayed at the Hyatt last week!! Amazing place with a beautiful view. Everything you need!!
AMAZING resort! Beautiful pool, spa, restaurants on site, great free shuttle to Diamond Peak - what could be better?
Black jack dealers are amateur. Can barely deal. Embarrassing. Waste of time.
We visited Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe after a long day on the slopes for some drinks and casino time. It was nice and relaxing, service was great, and would totally come back again! While it was no issue for us, parking is $10 an hour or $7/hr after validation. Be wary if you dont want to pay. Valet is also available for hotel guests.
This is located in a very beautiful place and I had a good time here on a business retreat. It was late in the fall, but no early snow. Brisk nights and mild days. The accommodations were first rate with good beds, nice bathrooms and good food. I would consider returning if I choose to visit Lake Tahoe when the snow is not the main reason for visiting.
Very nice hotel right on the beautiful Lake Tahoe!
Top location good service
Pure luxury, great service and delicious food. We really enjoyed our stay!!!!!!
Very nice, the views are great and the room is very comfortable.
$28 for valet. $6 for a bottle of water. 29% service fees and up charges for massages and other services which are double what they should be. $18 if you park in their lot. $199 per night when nobody is there in the middle of the week off-season. vNo shampoo or conditioner or lotion in the rooms. Didn t tell us they re remodeling the spa, so no steam or sauna.
Yes I m bitter. A dark cloud over my birthday weekend. And I m a Hyatt Elite member. Why?
Look, I love this place in winter while skiing, but for a quick weekend, I would have been better off at a nicer place for $59-79 per night.
I do not appreciate being nickeled and dimed and chiseled.
Just charge more and stop chiseling people. It s a bad bad look.
A beautiful location and nice resort. The only negative is the extremely overpriced food and drink items. Expect a 3 to 4 times markup.
It was great when I went, they even have a boat renting service.
Upgraded to a cottage right on the lake...worth every penny.
Amazing location, great rooms, one really nice swimming pool and two hot tubs. 4x restaurants onsite
Absolutly amazing, we love it. From the rooms services to the food.
Of all the lakefront hotels in Lake Tahoe, the Hyatt is one of my favorites. For starters, the beachfront amenities are top-notch. After all, the beach is why we come to Tahoe, amiright?
During the summer months there are multiple beachside bars. There s one on the beach at the west end. If you d like a better lake view, check out the one at the end of the pier.
If you need to work up a sweat, or simply log some water time before that tasty beverage, they have a ton of kayaks and SUPs at your disposal. You can even hop on a sunset cruise on a catamaran.
The rooms in the main hotel are well-appointed, and there s a huge breakfast buffet waiting for you every morning on the first floor. Taking a break from the lake? Head out back and lounge it up by the pool. Did I mention you can get drinks over there as well?
If you are planning a Lake Tahoe wedding, you ve got another great reason to check out the Hyatt. Since all your guests will be booking a few extra nights for your wedding anyway (pretty standard), it s a great base camp for everyone, no matter how adventurous or laid-back they want to be.
Be sure to check out the Lone Eagle Grille while you re there. The food is great and they ve got some well-chosen draft beers. I just had a lager there the other day and it hit the spot. Plus it s open year round so you can enjoy the epic views whether it s sunny or snowing sideways!
Great location and amenities such as a shuttle to Diamond Peak, a wonderful spa and great restaurant--The Lome Eagle. Such a treat!
Got kicked out twice because I couldn't find room key
Favorite hotel in North lake. The rooms, restaurants, location, pool. It's a winner!
Beautiful hotel at beautiful Lake Tahoe. Staff was great and helpful. Their pool for the little babies made our stay even more comfortable. This hotel knows what customers need for their children specially the little ones if they don t enjoy you can t enjoy. That s one of the customer satisfaction for families like us. Everyone gets to enjoy their stay. There are bunch of beautiful birds who would love to try your food if you are willing to share by the terrace.
Great location and service. Diamond peak rentals at sports shop inside the hotel. Very convenient.
Cutthroat where is great place to watch sports and get a bite to eat good food and friendly staff... careful about the gambling about the tightest machines in Tahoe
