Went with high school for Bands of America. Hotel staff maintained professional correspondence and showed patience when working with the kids and band staff. Rooms were clean, showers hot, beds comfortable. View of the arch was nice!

Stunning views of the Arch and amazing service. The staff gave us plenty of ideas for things around saint louis to do and see. They were very knowledgeable about their area. And the room service was incredible, even though it was expensive. It's a must stay hotel. Even if you're a local.

Walking distance to the Saint Louis Arch. Very nice hotel and very affordable for us in when we booked. The downside is the parking. There is no free parking on-site and you have to pay an extra $50 for valet or $16 a block away at a public garage so factor that into the cost.

Wonderful staff, nice and quiet hotel, exceptional reception lounge
Restaurants and coffees and great room service

The only disadvantage is the lack of interest in cleaning the nets from the outside to make the view unusual

I highly recommend it

I was underwhelmed by my experience here. The gym was nice, but no pool. My room was larger than average but nothing special and did not have a nice view (8th floor). Our beds were made each day but that's about it from housekeeping - Dirty dishes and trash were not removed. Could hear the guests talking (not yelling) next door through the walls. Staff weren't overly friendly or welcoming. So nothing terrible, just nothing great either. Photo is from 18th floor

The staff was great - extremely helpful in all areas. Location is perfect! Right beside The Arch and Old Courthouse. Very walkable area. The lack of a 5th star is due to the paper-thin walls. You hear everything.

Nice location with views of the gateway arch. Room was small and could do with power points on both sides of the bed. Staff are very friendly and was able to store bags until our flight free

The front desk service, room cleaning and room quality were fantastic. However, you can year everything your neighbors are saying if you have a room with a door to another (optional room connection).

This is a very nice hotel, with several restaurants to choose from for any meal you're looking for. In fact, many guests from hotels near by come here for their meals. The staff and concierge were both friendly and professional.

I went to visit a friend who was a guest of the hotel. His suite was beautiful and nicely appointed. All the staff i interacted with were very helpful and personable. I would highly recommend.

Great hotel and location. Quality buffet and service. But those required, surprise service fees and tips do sneak up and add up on you. A $19 room service order came out to $35, for instance. Also, they must have over-booked this weekend because we called the front desk a few ti.es and the phone rang nearly 30 times before someone answered. But extremely clean, with great amenities.

We have a nice view of the Arch and Missouri river from our room. Everybody that works here is very friendly and helpful. The bad thing about staying at the Hyatt Regency is they do not have a swimming pool and/or Jacuzzi to relax in after a long day of traveling. I was very disappointed in this fact! Also, if you want a microwave in your room be sure and state that when you reserve your room or there wont be one and there can be a charge for one to be brought to your room, according to the hotel operator. It's crazy!

Lucked into a great view of the courthouse and park area. Honestly if we did not have that view this would of been a four. Great location that puts you in walking distance from a Cards game, the Arc or several other options.

Believe the negative comments!! I really thought they were just high maintenance visitors spouting off. I am really just speechless!! From the minute we arrived parking was horrible unless you paid $40 for valet, if not, plan on walking a couple blocks. After circling the block multiple times, We finally were able to pull into the front drive (only accessible entrance without room key)to have the valet be EXTREMELY rude! The Night Staff (late arrival/early departure - can't comment on day staff at time of review)treated guests as a burden and waste of time, more interest in taking your money than actually being hospitable. Dont ask staff about amenities hours and information, they will ALL (not kidding)give you incorrect information. No one seems to know anything about the hotel where they work..and don't care... Including management, they just give you scripted responses that, per reading negative reviews going back 3 months, obviously do not follow thru with correcting the multiple issues or staff mentality. Reminds me exactly of the Reviewer 's treatment in the movie Oceans 13 when they dismissed him because they thought he was a nobody (Even with characters antics). If it weren't for the easy access to the Arch, this hotel would go under. Do yourself and family a favor, stay somewhere else.

I'd like to be able to say our whole stay at the Hyatt was pleasant but unfortunately I cannot. Although our stay was fine our check out is another story! First, they tried to charge me for room service that was never ordered...thank goodness I decided to go to the desk to check out and get a receipt. That's pretty minor compared to going down to the garage to get vehicles. As my daughter was getting into the backseat of the car the valet driver bringing the other car around hits the backseat door that was wide open! Thankfully my daughter was halfway in the car or that driver would have taken my daughter's legs out and her fingers if they were wrapped around that door! Now those vehicles belong to the other family we spent the weekend with...and they were very accommodating to get the vehicles repaired. But, to my dismay the Hyatt parking manager has shown no concern towards my daughter. I have made phone calls and sent email stating that their lack of concern towards the situation is appalling to me and I haven't received any communication back! I will not stop until someone from that establishment does something to make this right! I hope that no other family has to ever go through watching their child almost get run down by incompetent valet from the Hyatt again!!!

The Hyatt is a nice hotel, but looks a lot better in the lobby than in the individual rooms. We stayed one night and the rool we were placed in had several tears in the wallpaper, dust on several pieces of furniture and fire extinguishers, and had spots on the bedding. The staff are all super nice and helpful, but the rooms disappointed in the up keep of them.

I booked this hotel last-minute on a whim, wanting an overnight trip. Outside of being such a good deal for a same-day booking, the front desk was able to move us into a much higher room in the hotel (11th floor), affording a fantastic view of the downtown area and roughly half the Arch itself. The room was clean, the bathroom fixtures were very modern, the beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable. Not only was this a great turn of events for a spur of the moment adventure, this is definitely the hotel I'm planning on going back to when I need to be in downtown St Louis in the future.

Here for 5 days for work - the breakfast at the Executive Lounge is amazing ,and the happy hour at night is enough for dinner. The staff has been very helpful hailing cabs, advising on restaurants and transportation. The parking is expensive so I returned the rental and have been taking the metro - surprisingly clean and easy. If I return, I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed there for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The reception was in the hotel's grand ballroom. I was extremely happy with my room and the reception was elegant and went off without a hitch. The food was very good! Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel but very expensive for not much. No breakfast or anything and there is not ample parking or free parking so be prepared to walk a few blocks with all your stuff and to leave your car in a shady garage. But the room was clean and great!

Compared to the hospitality staff and concierge of Hilton one block away, I feel that Hyatt is in need of improvement. I had to stay one night at the Hilton (Downtown at the Arch) on account of their failure to allocate enough rooms for AAFP conference attendees.
The unenthusiasm on the part of a few staff from the front desk to guest serices does not reflect well on management.
Furthermore, what is with the ridiculously low water pressure of the shower heads?
This is one noticeable trait characteristic of Hyatt.
In a time-restrictive world, taking two to three times longer to rinse during showers is frustrating!

This is a decent hotel that I stayed at multiple times. Most of the staff appears to be friendly. Housekeeping needs to pay detailed attention to their rooms. There should not be mold in the bathroom shower. The curtains in the room where ripped. Can't see it at a casual glance though.

Quiet, comfortable beds.

The staff were awesome! The hotel doesn't have a hot tub, but whatever. The room was clean, the house keepers were great too! I laid things out on the bed and not only did they make the bed, they laid everything back out exactly as I had it! Seriously, that was great! House keeping needs more credit!

For being a nice hotel I was very disappointed. The guy at the check in desk was nice and helpful, but that didn't make up for having to call housekeeping to service room when I got back to it at 3 in the afternoon, or having to have them come fix the sink in the room because it did not drain. The hallway was a maze, and had a weird burning rubber smell in it. My room was nice and had a great view of the arch, I got the Junior Suite. I had to call the front desk to get robes in my room, never had to do that at any other hotels I've stayed at, unfortunately they were so scratchy that we didn't even use them.Parking was full, had to park down the street. The man at the check out desk told us where was the best place to park, which I really appreciated since it was my first trip to St. Louis and didn't know where to go. The waitstaff in the hotel restaurant The Red Kitchen, were not very helpful or nice. I guess they thought that me and my husband were going to run out on our bill or something, the way they kept looking at us, and set us right by the front door, in the chill every time the front lobby door opened, even though there was plenty of other seats available. There wasn't any non-dairy creamer option for coffee either which is weird for this type of hotel. I will say that my husband could not stop talking about how good the omelets he got was.

what a beautiful hotel! the lobby is exquisite! also, the view of the river and the arch from your window can't go without being mentioned! the only negative thing i have to mention is that there is rooftop access that was closed due to a private wedding reception, but the signage said it'd be open again at 10am the next morning. we checked several times between 10am and checkout time to be able to experience the rooftop access, and it never opened. i was disappointed that the expectation wasn't met. however, everything else was great!

I was here for a conference, and apparently they don't discount the parking--which was $30+ dollars. The rooms for the conference were nice, though, and when I needed help from guest services, they were very helpful and nice.

Very nice hotel in downtown St. Louis. Easy walking distance to the Arch and Busch Stadium plus other local landmarks. Wonderful views from the rooms. Staff was friendly and courteous. Good selection of restaurants in the hotel.

Pros: Great front desk staff, HUGE clean room, convenient on site parking and AMAZING VIEWS.

Cons: the window let in SO much cold air and way too much noise from the highway. Also, the room service forgot part of our order (though we weren't charged for it so i guess its a wash)
