The lobby area was beautiful and it had a starbucks, enterprise car rental, and a few nice restaurants. We got in from our flights around 2am and the front desk clerk, Elaine, was rude, short, and had horrible customer service skills. I advised the manager of her unnacceptable behaviour and I hope they addressed the issue. Definitely put a bad taste in my mouth... The rooms were ok. Smaller than expected, the curtains had big obvious stains, and the bathroom had peeled paint and lacked ventilation. The location was nice. The view of the arch was nice and it was easily accessible. We had issues with parking. For the day was 40$. When we asked about street parking the attendant said "sure, if you want to get your car broken into". Very unprofessional. Clearly was tryna get our money. We parked on the street for 2 nights with no issues. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. Too many cons compared to the pros.

We unfortunately didn't get a room with a great view, but the place was very professional, well kept, staff was friendly and the checkout process was simple. The rooftop access was very nice as well. Allowed you to get a good view of the surroundings.

Staying still and reported throw up on the floor next to the bed the first night we stayed. No one came up to clean it. Then when room service came by next day told them and they said theyd report it to the manager and get it cleaned. It's still not cleaned tonight but that's ok because when I called the front desk, they said its probably too late for us to be disturbed tonight and can report it to the manager first thing tomorrow for a "training opportunity". Wow!

From beginning to end, our stay at Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch was outstanding. We arrived a bit early and asked if we could check in early. They told us that it would be possible in an hour and that they would gladly text us as soon as the room was available.
We parked the vehicle in the hotel garage and took a stroll by the Mississippi River and the St Louis Arch National Monument. When we returned, the room was ready.
Katie, the registration associate, explained all the amenities at the hotel and then told us that our room was one of the best at the hotel, and sure enough it was.
The room was the size of a suite with ample space and well appointed features. But, the best thing was the view from the oversized window. The entire Arch and the great river were visible. We liked the view so much that we left the window and the drapes open for the entire stay.
Katie told us that there were only six or seven guest rooms with that view. Of course, it was ever changing scene with early morning sunrise to sunset with almost mesmerizing night scene with the river lights. We could see the whole thing even from the bed.
Every staff person that we met was wonderful and extremely helpful. We had one breakfast meal at the hotel and it was just superb.
The pub, Starbucks, the restaurant and the steakhouse each has its own ambiance and character. It's not easy to experience it all in one visit. The hotel has pretty much everything you may need for your stay and the location tops it all.
BTW, if you are at the hotel, go to the 18th floor open air terrace. The view and the feel is amazing.
A great place by itself, however, it's the people there who make it a wonderland.
We will be back.

I ve got nothing to complain about. It s extremely close to the arch, like when they say at it is literally at the arch. The only thing to know is that there isn t any convenient stores around and most restaurants are sit down.

We booked the Executive Suite with a King bed at $230/Night (Before adding the $50.00 late check out) Here s the PROs and CONs of our experience:

PROs
The view is BEAUTIFUL.
The Arch is literally right across the street.
Everything down town is 10 minutes walking distance.
The suite is very spacious with separate living/sleeping quarters.
Check in was smooth and the staff did accommodate our late check out request.

CONs
Damages to the bathroom door.
Stained accent chair.
Build Up on hair dryer from extensive use.
Bed was made very messily.
Cleanliness was mediocre to say the least.
Staff was less than friendly (Except for the from desk manager, she was lovely.)

Overall, the location is great and the room is very beautiful.
But for $230/night we had expected a much more clean and accommodating experience. The lack of cleanliness was the biggest issue for us, and due to that we probably won t be visiting this hotel again. Everything else was very nice!

It is a beautiful place, attentive, helpful staff. I recommend service and comfort, even the spectacular conference rooms. Better views of the Gateway, park and attractions. We recommend the Regency club service

I walked past a point glass sitting outside a room door for four days in a row before it was picked up by housekeeping. The 9th floor hallway appeared to only get swept weekly, if not monthly.

We had a hard time finding the parking garage but once we found it there was a sign that said "Self Parking Garage FULL: More parking located at the Mansion House" which was an apartment complex on the next block. The Mansion House charged $20 for us to park there so when we went inside of the hotel we asked to get our parking validated and they told us that they cannot validate the parking because we didn't have to park there... We didn't have anywhere else to park. They don't have any other lots or meters. They only had their Valet (which was $40 plus tips) and the Self Park garage (which was full) We didn't have a choice but to park at the "Mansion House". This needs to be something that should be covered/validated by the hotel. Besides the parking fiasco, the hotel was clean and had nice rooms.

The service at the restaurant Red was horrible. The TV in the room didn't work properly. The staff at the desk and the concierge handle everything very well though. It was Mardi Gras weekend and I know they were busy but that should never be an excuse. It is on of the premier hotels in downtown St Louis sitting right on the arch grounds now. I sure hope it improves before all the construction is done.

Was only there for a few hours, it was a short walk from the train, right next to the arch, was clean, comfortable, and the price was right. The ladies working the reception desk we're very friendly. I didn't have a chance to check out any of the other amenities. I will stay there again if I get the chance.

The Ruth's Chris Steakhouse restaurant is at the bottom of this hotel. I took a client there for dinner. They gave me a seat against the window which you can see the entire Arch. It was very nice. As usual, Ruth's Chris food is always fantastic. It was a very nice location for a great steak dinner. Great View.

Worst experience ever. Stayed here on Feb 10th, Mardi Gras weekend and people where walking through the lobby drunk, loud, and disrespectful. Security came all the way to the top floor and told me I was making too much noise in my room. I was put out of the hotel at 12:30 am, with no other reason, but you had a baby crying loud across the hall. Don't know if it was because I was black, or what, but I felt like I was treated according to my race. Wouldn't advise anyone to stay here if you are trying to have a nice stay and be treated fair. Staff needs to be trained properly on how to handle situations in a professional manner, not the way they want. I was told that I had too many people in my room, executive suite, but a whole team of cheerleaders where split up into 2 rooms. And there was no complimentary breakfast for the RATE I paid.

We arrived late at night after a long drive to stay one night. I reserved a double room but instead we received a large single with a pull out couch. The pull out couch was broken and unable to come out of the couch. The room was either uncleaned or poorly cleaned: sticky residue on the tables, hairs all over the bathroom, hairs and dirt in the bed. Housekeeping brought a trundle bed to the room but it was too uncomfortable and small to even sleep on. They change the sheets at our request, I told them it was too late to wait for them to clean the rest of the room and that we wanted to sleep. The sheets were cheap and scratchy and pillow cases were ripped in some places from to many times through the wash. The room was located next to the elevators, so clanging and banging filled the room all night. Housekeeping was very friendly and was sure to arrange that we received a free breakfast for our troubles. The breakfast was unfortunately not great and I would have rather paid for a better breakfast than receive the free breakfast from this hotel.

Pros: close to the arch, friendly staff, large room.
