My hubby and I stayed here over Valentine's Day weekend. When we arrived at 3p, the garage self-park was already full/closed. Valet is $32, so that wasn't an option for us. Instead, we parked in another garage next door.

Our room had a view of the Arch which was fun, even despite the awful construction going on. The layout of the room seemed kinda different...there was an extra large closet-space (I don't know what else to call it...). It had a safe, ironing board and a large comfy chair. Then, the main part of the room was kind of long, the bed at one end, TV and desk at the other end, with a big, comfy chair awkwardly in between.

Everything was very clean and comfortable and we had an enjoyable stay. But I'm not quite sure that the price is worth the parking hassle and not overly amazing room.

Room was nice and clean, our next door neighbors had an all night party consisting of loud music, obnoxious yelling, and blatant drug use, with total ignorance regarding common courtesy. I thought the Hyatt was suppose to be more classy than the occurrences that were taking place on their property!!! Oh and a heads up have at least $40 to park!!!

We were supposed to stay elsewhere... but took the non-refundable hit to stay here instead. Such a better decision! Pay the $20 per night for the lounge. You'll make it back in breakfast and appetizers alone. Mike, working the lounge, is a super awesome!

The room was fine and the location was great. However, when I pay as much as I did for a room, I expect parking to be included or at least reasonably priced. The rate this hotel charges for parking is ridiculous, $26 if my memory is correct. Luckily, we were able to park a block away for less than half that price.

Very large hotel. Rooms quite nice and good views. OK bar and restaurant area. There was a mix up with my booking (not the hotel's fault). Lovely young receptionist sorted out a room the day we arrived. However, as a conference speaker I was supposed to have a VIP room for the three nights of the conference and I wasn't upgraded to this room, which was disappointing because I was traveling with my husband and could have done with the extra space. The manger advised I should just stay in the room I had been given - I didnt feel they really cared about the mix-up or the room. We were going to stay on 2 extra nights but went to the Hilton Ballpark instead

Drove down from Minnesota with my girlfriend to hang out with some friends and to have a nice weekend get away and i'm very glad I chose to stay here. When looking for a nice place to stay I had been looking at a few different hotels some more expensive before finally settling on this one, after having amazing experiences at other Hyatt's around the country I knew I would have the same top notch quality and service here as well.

My experience here was nothing short of fantastic!

From the moment we pulled up we had nothing but amazing service from all the employees we encountered. We pulled up to the building and the valet showed us a spot we could park our car for a minute while we checked in. Got to the check in counter and the lady helping us was absolutely phenomenal. Her customer service skills were top notch. She made sure everything was up to our liking and she also recommended some things to do while we were in town if we happened to get a few moments of free time. She made sure by the time we got our key cards that everything we needed was satisfied. She did all this while making our encounter as prompt as she could, without making it feel rushed.

The room was also amazing, better than expected. We stayed in the Arch View Deluxe King room. The view was breathtaking, worth every penny! The room itself was large and very clean. Had everything you would need and want in a room. Once the evening came, we opened all the curtains and had a phenomenal view of the arch all lit up right from the bed itself.

The only thing I could complain about was the parking situation. The lot under the building was full so we had to go park in a ramp a couple blocks away. I wasn't very comfortable having to leave my car in a public parking ramp over night in a city I was unfamiliar with. I cant knock the hotel for that though. There's only so much they are able to do.

If i'm ever in town again I know without a doubt where I will be staying. You would be crazy to even think about staying else where.

We couldn't check in at the time they said..... But we didn't have to wait that long. The room was very clean and had full view of the Arch from both side. Very nice.

Would recommend it for sure.

Stayed for 2 nights with view of arch which was beautiful but not worth over $500 PLUS $40 a night for parking, and extra for breakfast. Does not have walk in showers but room was very spacious. Employees were not very friendly or helpful. Volleyball tournament was going on in town so teenagers running around everywhere. Overall would not recommend for the money.

I went to 3 rooms before one was clean, then found gunk on the back of the bathroom door knobs, don't want to know what that was.
I feel they should be more cautious during this time, but 3 dirty rooms is a bit much.
Not coming back.

I really enjoyed the stay so did people accompanying me. Executive suite was really specious for 4 to sleep comfortably. The view we had was lovely, especially when they were shooting fireworks across from us. However, two star deduction goes to two things. A cracked switch cover which is bearly attached, a safety hazard if the cover was to fall off, and housekeeping failing to clean a little malfunction spill that happened with the toilet. Additionally, we were told that we won't be charged for the second time calling housekeeping because of the wait. I was surprised to hear that after mentioning that the first person never cleaned the floor. Furthermore, when self-parking the car we had to press for help everytime we tried to leave the parking and get back despite having the room key. Overnight parking comes out to be $30, and when I asked why is there a keypad to scan the card when I have to call for help everytime, I did not get a solid answer besides sorry for the inconvenience. Well the inconvenience was never addressed. I expectted Hyatt to follow their mission statement of delivering distinctive experiences to their guests.

Worst Starbucks experience ever. I love Starbucks but the service was incredibly slow. The staff didnt know what was cold coffee or tea even when she poured it commented it looked like water or tea so she tastednit and said yep watered coffee maam waht kind of milk did u want. I ordered venti iced coffee with extra CREAM and sugar free vanilla. I told her I didnt want watered down coffee that I could literally see thru. So she said well thats all I have told her wanted something else or my money back non of the other 3 people seemed to know what or how to make my coffee. I could wait back on line to get money back mind you I had already waited 30mins in the first place or she could make me another coffee frap. I didnt want it unless is was sugarfree.. so said surething well I didnt get a sugarfree anything. Paid for a drink I couldnt have. Terribly disappointed and out my money and no coffee.

Amazing corner Arch view room. A beautiful hotel with a great staff. At guest services, Andrea the concierge, went above and beyond to make the stay extra special. Highly recommended this hotel when staying downtown.

Came to the hotel for an event and found the hotel to be very clean. Weddings I did not interact with any of the staff, but from a distance, they all seemed to be very attentive and professional.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, excellent concierge, and the arch is quite literally just outside! With Ruth's Chris and a great pub and hotel bar all on site, we never ended up leaving the hotel!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. The only issue was the road noise from the highway was a little much. I'd expect better insulated windows for rooms facing the arch.

Great location if you are there to see the arch. The rooms leave a bit to be desired though. They are updated with the exception being the bathroom that had a weird drop ceiling and was extremely cramped (You couldn't open the shower door without it hitting the bathroom door). Overall, great place to stay to explore St. Louis and awesome viewsfrom your room of the arch.

Only visited Ruth's Chris. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. They went out of their way to make sure my husband and I had a experience for our 18th wedding anniversary.

The view we got was simply amazing! Never thought I d get such a beautiful scenery from my hotel room, the price was a bit high but it was definitely worth every penny, they had restaurants, bars, stores inside their hotel. Hands down best hotel I ve stayed at.

Staff was very friendly, and the room was great. Very clean, and I had a great view of the arch from my window. Great location in downtown, and it's a 3 minute walk from the Metrolink stop. Will definitely stay here again!

Location close to the Arch and the customer service was great, however there were other issues. My husband and I stayed with our 2 young children and were told that this is not a family friendly hotel, but rather a 'business' hotel. Quiet hours are 9-9 and my infant screamed ONE time at 9:30pm and within a few minutes there was a knock at the door from hotel staff. Apparently another guest complained. Parking is $29 per night, housekeeping may or may not clean room and make beds. This hotel is all hype and not a great choice if you have children.

Friendly staff paid the extra $50 for an upgrade for a family of 4 which included evening orders midday snacks and breakfast. Doesn't have a pool but I enjoyed walking a round arch and looking at the beautiful river. Walking distance from a grocery store and a variety of food spots.

I booked 2 nights...when we arrived to the hotel the parking was full (2:30am)... the person at the lobby was very rude and just told us "if you don't want to use the public parking you can go to a different hotel" the parking that was 2 blocks away! after working and driving 8hr that was the last thing we need it!! according to the lobby employee we were going to get a FULL refund but so far nothing. Worse customer experience ever! PS we did talked to managment.
