This is a fantastic hotel to stay in downtown. The staff is friendly, the decorations are beautiful, and the view of the arch is great. The only downsides are the rooms are a bit small, but the view and location make up for it. The biggest issue is parking in the hotel, but there is a cheaper garage next door. Overall fantastic hotel!

Very clean, bed was great and the room service was delicious.. the toilet overflowed and water was everywhere but the maintenance came fast and when we were about to check out the front desk lady gave us our room service for free.. wish we could have stayed longer and will be coming back again

This is a must stay if you plan on visiting the arch. Most convenient location available. You will not regret it. Hotel staff is most accommodating, very friendly and do not fault under pressure. I stayed when the hotel was completely booked and felt everything went completely smooth. From the concierge, to the guest services, to the valet. They do an awesome job making you feel comfortable and that every guest is a priority! If I'm in Saint Louis, this will be my hotel of choice!

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. Had a great view of the Arch from our room. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious and included an omelette bar. Valet parking was well worth the money. The concierge named Andrea was extremely pleasant and helped us find various activities to enjoy. I was very impressed with the positive attitude of every staff member. They made us feel like welcome and valued guests. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great room, great view! Disappointed in the red restaurant, and general service, but our problems were taken care of and all needs met. Stayed for Mardi Gras, so the place was swamped. For this reason, I will return and give this lovely hotel another chance. Picturesque view of the arch and courthouse from the bed!

Nice hotel. Very close to the Arch. It will cost you beyond the room cost. (example $29 for parking) A few restaurants in the hotel including Ruth's Chris and Starbucks on the corner.

Overall Room experience was good but little outdated. Got wrong information at the Front desk and it made me to pay more amount for the parking. At the time of check-in one of the representative said parking was paid for the price I got the hotel but at the time of check-out other representative said it was not included in that. Finally I ended up paying lot more money for the parking without my fault.

The good: Nice view of the Arc and only steps from it. Friendly and helpful staff . Clean room, quiet . Offers roll away bed The bad: the room AC control is a joke, as a result the room is either freezing or uncomfortably warm. There is virtually no ventilation in the bathroom. Room service is disappointing, basically takeout in plastic containers.

This hotel wrongfully accussed me & my girlfriend of smoking & charged my credit card $200. I was extremely upset & confused because neither one of us are smokers. I went back to the hotel to disupte the charge with a young lady named Katie Boyle who presented herself as the front desk manager. After informing her that me & my girlfriend are both non smokers & have been the only ones to enter that room, she claimed to have actually saw & smelled the smoke in my room herself. I was extremely unsettled at that point to be accussed and lied to directly about seeing/smelling something that was non existent. After speaking, she stated she would not reverse the charges & for me to call my bank if I wanted to dispute it. I wouldn t stay here again or recommend to anyone. It was completely unprofessional & showing of poor customer service the way they dealt with this matter. I have also sent an email to manager Cassie Campbell & still have not received a response on the matter. Be wary before providing your credit card when checking in at this establishment.

This is a wonderful hotel right next to the Arch. The rooms are excellent as is the staff. They text message you every step of the way, offering directions, letting you know when your room is available, asking about your stay, and letting you know about check-out. I would stay here again.

Great Hotel. I had a wonderful view of the Arch and the Mississippi River as well as Bush Stadium. Great hotel quiet and very comfortable. Great restaurants in the hotel as well as around and close by.

I had planned to stay with points but parking was expensive so I ended up cancelling my stay. Hotel looked nice and staff were okay from what I experienced. For an area like this, it really should have free parking.

Great food, amenities, and service! Everything was clean and comfortable. Can't really get any closer to the Arch, and Ballpark Village is just a 5 minute walk tops. The only reason I don't give it a 5 is that there is no pool. I mean, it's not like St. Louis is in Florida in walking distance of a beach. I was looking forward to swimming. Oh well.

My fiance and I traveled to St. Louis for a short vacation, and the Hyatt Regency had the cheapest price by far for our stay. We were surprised with how luxurious our room was, as we got a king single room. It had a view of the arch and was immaculately cool relative to the temperature outside in the sun. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Stayed here for 4 nights with 3 daughters. Everyone who worked there was amazingly friendly and very helpful. At check-in we were given the choice to pick a room facing the arch. There was plenty of construction going on, so the view wasn't the prettiest, but it was a great experience for my children. The arch is just a short walk away. There was a small convenience store just down the street for picking up groceries and avoiding the high hotel costs and refrigerators in room allowed us to stock up on milk for morning cereal and bedtime drinks.

Parking is pretty inconvenient if you have a larger vehicle. My SUV wouldn't fit in the hotel parking, so we were forced to park in the public parking garages a couple of blocks away. It was a long haul dragging suitcases and tired kids and slightly inconvenient due to being in and out of the hotel every day and driving to local destinations.

This Hyatt is located right across the street from the Arch, depending on which side your hotel room is on, you can have a great view of it. The room was clean and the sheets did not smell like heavy bleach. The one caveat is for those who are lighter sleepers, the walls are quite thin, you can easily hear the neighbors doing simple things like raising and lowering the blinds.

Came into St. Louis for the first at a conference. Love the location of the hotel, perfect spot for tourism and sight seeing. The view is magnificent right outside the arch and the river. There are two restaurants inside as well as two bars. The rooms could be nicer but suffice. Would definitely come back!

When we arrived, I parked on the side street, I had some errands to run after dropping off my wife and luggage. I walked into the lobby and was greeted by an attendant with a bald head. I asked him to let me use one of the carts to bring luggage inside and his answer was, "No, we don't loan those out."

I have about 40 hotel stays in the last 3 years but we never splurge to stay at such an expensive place. I explained to him that I had to run some errands but my wife was coming in with the luggage and he simply said no. I stood there looking confused for a while and finally someone else came and explained that at this full-service hotel we were required to let someone else bring in our bags. They told me to drive around the block and get to the valet entrance, which was confusing to me because we didn't want valet parking...finally they just helped me carry the stuff in but the whole process was frustrating. Am I supposed to just know that the rules are different here?

I talked to the guy at the desk about parking and he told me that Valet parking was $30/night and self parking was $20/night. This was already frustrating after paying for an expensive room, I've never been to a hotel that doesn't have some kind of breakfast and parking. I opted for the $20/night self-park option, but when I checked out the machine charged me $30. I asked the person on the speaker who just said there was nothing she could do to help me. She charged it to my room and told me to call customer service. I did that and was told that the $20/night option was a block away (a fact that I was apparently supposed to just know...) and that there was nothing she could do about my being charged more than promised.

Added charges, and then more added charges, and nothing complimentary at a hotel that we had already splurged to visit just made the whole thing frustrating. Paying so much for a room that was smaller than what I get at the Super 8 and then being expected to pay extra and then more than promised because incomplete information was given to me and I was just supposed to know...I didn't join the rewards program because I don't plan on doing any of this ever again.

Loved our arch view room. Reading all the reviews with people complaining about paying for valet parking had me a little worried, to be honest just pay for the Valet parking it is definitely worth it!!! We arrived tired and did not want to worry about the parking .... if $40 is going to spoil your stay then do your self a favor and look for somewhere else to stay. The staff was super friendly, top notch customer service. You are literally within walking distance to the arch. We did not eat at the hotel because we found lots of food options within walking distance. We will definitely return again!!!
